From our first meet, Charlotte was completely invested in making sure my house was sold exactly how I wanted it to be with my best interest at heart. She backed myself and my partner all the way whilst purchasing our first home together and always made sure the solicitors were keeping up their end of the job! Charlotte is professional, punctual and enthusiastic and she genuinely cared about us getting in on time and without any extra ‘house moving stress.’
In the future, if we need to move again, there’s no question which estate agent we would choose.

Bought a new-build house with Bernard acting as agent for the builder. Bernard has been brilliant throughout the buying process from our first site visit, to getting the keys. Kept us informed, answered any questions we had, always got back to us promptly and quickly sorted any issues. Hard working, with lots of experience and knowledge, really practical and gives great advice including suggesting local solicitors and carpet fitters we could use. He was just as helpful after the sale has gone through too in answering any queries and questions.
I’d recommend using The Agent for any property transactions - can’t praise them and Bernard highly enough!

When we sold our property recently we did not intend to purchase straight away so a set completion date was not an issue for us. Bernard worked extremely hard to keep our buyers happy and for the sale to complete within their timescale. We were kept informed every step of the way with almost daily telephone calls/emails towards the end of the sale. Bernard and Claire are a refreshing modern team for whom nothing is too much trouble. Honesty was our main priority which we got without the usual estate agent waffle! We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I would imagine I was one of the longest clients on their books, but it did not deter them. Our chain collapsed a few times due to issues further up the chain. Charlotte was true to her word, doggedly and determined we finally managed to complete some 11 months later. Charlotte at The Agent in Lincoln was the selling Agent for the house we bought. As such, we were not her clients and were not paying her for her services, however, Charlotte was absolutely perfect in her support to us as buyers. Despite several issues arising in the ‘chain’, Charlotte was always on top of the details and was able to offer advice as necessary. She even monitored the whole chain to ensure that any potential problems were highlighted early so that solicitors could be directed accordingly. On that point, in our experience, solicitors throughout the chain but especially our own were complete carp and so Charlotte’s attentiveness, and that of her colleagues in the office, was a godsend. I have no doubt that our successful completion of the house purchase would have been in real jeopardy without Charlotte’s expertise.

GoogleMy experience with this Bunch of clowns resulted in their own paying client (the vendor) losing over £7k from our deal due to misinformation repeatedly provided by THE AGENT
Furthermore, It became necessary due to the incompetence and shear arrogance of one the partners, for me to take legal action against him for damage to my vehicle resulting from his stupidity....the appalling reputation enjoyed by estates generally is well deserved here...AVOID..!!
I've written an open letter to my residence association warning anyone considering engaging this company, to steer well clear.
Thank you for your response, I am grateful you don't wish to too and fro and waste any more of my time, I think your response simply confirms my assertions regarding your general attitude to your clients and on that subject, I see no evidence to support your claim that your vendor was satisfied and in fact I have written text evidence to the contrary and I will willingly add that to my future reviews should you so wish.

We’re not going to be drawn into another back and forth with you, but the financial position you put the vendors in prior to finalising exchange (while knowing their circumstances) was appalling. It is a shame there isn’t a feedback site that warns people how some buyers act.
