To keep things brief, I enquired about a property a day or two after going up on the market and requested a viewing. I was told that I would be contacted as soon as viewings became available and my name and number was taken. No one got back in touch and I check the website 2 or 3 weeks later and the house I enquired about is now under application so I’m pretty annoyed at this. I will not be using this company again to look for a property as first impressions mean a lot and this first impression was terrible.

I have recently sold my apartment using Farrell Heyworth in Leyland and found the service to be excellent. My agent, Dean Leggett, was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He kept me informed of any information regarding the sale and was there to answer any queries I had during the process. He made what could be a very stressful time quite simple with his calm and helpful manner. I would definitely recommend.

Having rented out a property I owned through Farrell Heyworth for the last 8 years the choice to use them to sell it was a very easy decision. They found a buyer quickly at sensible price. Unfortunately the first person in the chain had problems with the help to buy scheme so exchanging contracts seemed to take forever. Thank goodness we had Dean to help us. He was fantastic and was always happy to help no matter how many times I pestered him and was able to find out far more than my solicitor ever could. Than you do much Dean and I would recommend him to anyone selling or buying property in the Leyland area

Very bad service, they called us to view a property, we made an appointment, we ve been there on time, nobody was there and then we called them and said, sorry the landlord has already an application so the appointment is cancelled. Just keep in mind on every property for farrel you cant view a prorty without a decision in principle thats goes for every property But other estate agents for instance Forbes estate agent who are fantastic dont request this unless you are purchasing the property so you have a chance to look at the property before committing to credit checks

Customer service is extremely important to us and your custom is highly valued. I think it's also valuable to outline what our procedures with regard to viewings are, and why we are continuing with these procedures when many agents seem to have returned to pre-Covid operating practices. Our process is as follows: All initial enquiries to view are provided with a virtual video tour which is received within minutes of the request. The virtual viewing is followed up and feedback obtained, this is extremely valuable to the owner of the property. If somebody wishes to then book a physical viewing we will ascertain if they are ready to proceed. A Mortgage agreement or financial qualification is then required to put the buyer in the best possible position to offer, along with acting solicitor details. The viewing can then be arranged. Unfortunately we still receive many requests to view properties from individuals who have no intention of buying said property. To keep our staff and customers safe we have chosen to continue with a process that will allow us to limit the amount of people that physically view to just genuine buyers. If the person viewing the property wishes to make an offer we would require a proof of funds at this stage in any event. Kind regards, Jeremy Collins, Director

I complete on my new house tomorrow and the whole process has been pretty much stress free. I have been dealing with Dean who has talked me through everything, which is great for a first time buyer, and he has maintained good communication throughout in dealing with queries and providing updates. Overall it has been a pleasure!
