Will never reply to you

Viewed a property beginning of October, had a few questions they didn’t have answer to so had to wait, still waiting for reply, had to find out answers myself. Put offer in, no replies from emails, had phone call week later for final offer. Send emails again cause 2 weeks no answer and still never got a reply from those emails, three weeks after putting in offer got a phonecall to say had gone with a higher offer. They never reply to any communication

Branch called me, I asked them a question, they said they'd call back abd didn't. When I called back and asked again they answered the wrong question and then said they didn't know how much it would cost to value my house. Why would I then arrange to waste my time with a company I don't trust to come out and quote me when they can't even ring me back as promised? Laughable.

Having moved house 6 weeks ago into a house being sold by Entwistle Green, I thought it was about time I left this review. I was SO grateful to have Jamie-Leigh helping me with the purchase of my new house. She was always happy to help and full of practical help and guidance. I must comment that Jamie-Leigh’s communication was excellent which really helped make the whole process run more smoothly. On the couple of occasions when I was unable to speak to her directly, other members of the team were most helpful. Just shocking no service at all.

Just shocking. Property management agents should be regulated properly.I am a landlord who handed over my property to be managed by this company whilst a tenant occupied my property. I have just been given my property back since the tenant left and it has been given back in a absolute disgusting state, which is costing me money to put it right when all of it could have been avoided if the managing agent had done their job. No management service was provided in this instance. Avoid, Avoid at all costs unless you want to be the one paying to get your property back after it's been left in a disgusting state. I question where the true references come from.

Worst Branch Manager Experience

Worst Branch Manager ExperienceI had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the worst branch manager ever. Initially, they presented me with a lower offer, which was fine. However, they failed to inform me, their client, that there was also a higher offer. When I mentioned that the initial offer was too low and referred to the valuation they first provided, the manager suddenly presented a second, higher offer from the buyers within seconds. This raised doubts in my mind about the transparency of the offers and made me suspect there might be ulterior motives to push the price down or other incentives at play. The manager was, quite frankly, the worst negotiator I've encountered and was rude and pushy on the phone.The initial valuation and approach by another team member were fine, and things started off well. However, a potential deal was missed due to how the initial offer and negotiation were handled. After two and a half weeks, I emailed another team member to reconsider the negotiations, only to be informed that they had made an offer on another property.Since they came on board as part of a multi-agent arrangement, I haven't had any discussions about the market report, except for a copy sent by email . The personalized client engagement was non-existent. When I informed them of the end of my contract, the branch manager herself asked why. After I explained my reasons, none of my subsequent emails were replied to, except for chasing the removal of their advert. This behavior was completely immature, to say the Least. But after the removal I got sent email contract doesn't end till November - the irony. They didn't bother to inform me of this on my initial email. What was once a good estate agent is no longer for me. I have now returned /remained with my first estate agent, who has been absolutely brilliant throughout years as a customer with them.Personally I do no recommend nor come touch their services ever again. @nearly 4k price tag for their fees, the standard is just awful.

Planned viewing gone wrong

Had booked a viewing, to go view a property they had to offer (got a confirmation text and everything). When going to view the property no one answered the door or was waiting outside. Waited near 30min and when the office finally answered they said the person who was in charge of the keys was on holiday and shouldn’t have booked the viewing in the first place. Adding to all of the annoyment I had to use time off work for this, the company wasn’t even sorry and im also quite heavily pregnant so going to places isn’t comfortable for me either… Conclusion won’t be looking at Entwistle Green Lettings properties anymore.

Coutrtwide conveyancing own these guys

My partner bought a house from this estate agents and the people were friendly ok people. The trouble is these guys suggested she use a service fior providing the mortgage and conveyancing from a company called Countrywide as they said it would make life easier, so I agreed! WORST DECISION EVER!!!!!!Countrywide were incompetent in setting up the mortgage and the conveyancing side are incompetent, obstructive and obscenely exspensive. Please please please do not take the estate agents recommendation to use Countrywide!!!!What they estate agent fails to tell you is Countrywide owns the estate agents and they use the agents service as salesmen - it’s not impartial advice it’s salesspeak when they say it will be easier etc it WONT trust me If you see a house you love with this agent, buy it but DO NOT USE COUNTRYWIDE

Would not recommend to my worst enemy

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. A terrible experience with Entwistle Green (Westhoughton branch). The team were never really interested in helping us pursue the house we wanted and made up lies, excuses and tried to delay our purchase as much as they physically could. We dealt with Tammy and Claire who made little effort in easing what should be a fun and exciting experience for a first time buyer. They tried their absolute hardest to keep us from viewing the house, despite the fact we rushed to put together a proof of deposit for them as this was apparently a requirement. They then claimed to have "accepted" our offer.. yet still listed a previous lower offer on their website. They kept taking other offers and completely backtracked on the fact they accepted our offer. Meanwhile, we were still adamant we wanted this house, so we raised the stakes.. so much to the point that both Tammy and Claire claimed that they would be opting for another buyer for a LOWER PRICE. It was never about price.. they never took our offer seriously and tried to delay our purchase from going ahead (by claiming they were having "technical issues").. and it was always me that chased them for updates. If they ever faced an issue, they wouldn't contact me. I had to pick up the phone 5 times a day to get every little update and attempt to hold their hand through the process. It's now become apparent that they never wanted us to hold hands. Service was so poor - Claire (someone who is clearly in the wrong job!) could barely count up our deposit figures. I am still trying to understand what their hidden agenda was, but one thing is for sure... they are rotten to the core and made our lives an absolute misery. What a waste of time and effort. This experience has made me lose faith in the fact that there must be good, honest and hard-working people out there.

What should have been a simple purchase for us turned out to be complicated and lengthy. However Louise and Debbie were absolutely fantastic given that we were not their clients! Throughout Debbie was on the ball and when things started to go downhill, without prompting, she was chasing and pushing to move things along. Had it not been for Debbie and Louise being persistent we would have pulled out of the purchase. Thanks to them we finally completed. The whole team was professional throughout with good customer service, communication was excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone with a Leyland property to sell. Well done and thank you Louise and Debbie!

Once we had decided to sell our house, we invited a number of local Estate Agents to value our house and discuss the sale. We were most impressed with Louise who provided a realistic valuation which proved to be accurate for our house and the market. We were delighted with an extremely quick sale and the price we were offered. Throughout the sale process, Debbie and Denise were most helpful and were proactive in keeping us up to date with progress of the sale and were always available to answer any questions. A bit disorganised

First valuation was cancelled by them as it was apparently booked, under the wrong branch, only told on the morning of the valuation , second valuation missed as valuer was ill, told I'd have to wait 2 weeks for another booking. Didn't want to take the chance as I'd already taken two days off work for them. Understand people get ill but when you've let someone down twice you move them to the head of the queue not keep them waiting for another 2 weeks.

There tenants next to use have been the…

There tenants next to use have been the worst in civilised people I have seen in my life. They have smashed up there property drugs on the street police have been involved more times then I count absolute living hell for over 5 years. But somehow these people think it's fine to keep such an abusive rough tenant in the same property. Were sick to death of them. Weve complained so many times to them and police nothing gets done. There tenant dings loudly all day of the top of her voice were fed up. I will be taking legal action against this agancy

After dealing with this company for the first time today I am extremely disappointed to have experienced a rude and dismissive attitude from the staff I spoke to. I was told I couldn’t view a property as mine wasn’t on the market - which is understandable. I then rung our estate agent to get ours on the market a week earlier so we could arrange to view the property earlier and then called Entwistle Green back to which again I was dismissed and told I would be called back after they had spoken to the home owners. After waiting until 4pm still not hearing anything I called the office again to chase and spoke to another lady who said I would be called back before 5pm, which I haven’t been. I don’t appreciate being spoken down to by anyone and completely dismissed and I will not consider using again as I’d like to avoid a stressful home move!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Big shout out to the team at Leyland. Specifically Carol Shepherd and Jamie-Leigh Oak who have worked tirelessly to help completion within my chain applying excellent communication skills. Even more impressive by the fact that Entwistle Green were not even my estate agents they were acting on behalf of the seller. I personally chose to sell with Strike and whilst they may be cheaper they provided very little support/updates once we had achieved a sale on our own property and found our new home. The chain itself was very problematic with more than its fair share of hurdles yet I never received any updates from Strike. However with Carol's tenacity and focus our move went ahead and as such I would highly recomend this company.
