Be aware of Entwistle Green, Countrywide Group, under Connells Group in the UK

We signed a contract for full management with Entwistle Green in Widnes (co-firm of Countrywide and Connells Group) to rent out our property. They caused us damage on a value of our property by about £30000. They concealed their income in Annual tax report to HMRC repeatedly, ignored our complaints, refused to do check up, charged us money for work which has not been supported by any evidence, they charged us for uncomplete services, they have not cared about the law and the rights, they puy phone down or did not pick up their phone, the have not replied, ignored us to provide the documentation, they told answers differently from thr facts, and also the opposite between their workers, they caused irretrievable damages to us-landlord. Entwistle Green and Countrywide team went on Christmas holiday and knowingly left a leaking water on the tenants' heads. They were irresponsible ignorants, uselest unprofessionals, told us the lies, has not provided documentation and services ordered by the law, uncomplete documentatipn, reports, in entory, and check-out report for which they charged us they deducted our rental income without any documentation, quotes, photos for and after repairs, they allowed tenants to change a whole kitchen without our consent, if they changed gas, electricity, or water they had not made the revision reports, they caused us-the landlord many problems, they have not cared about 6x unpaid rent in two months arrears but told us that everything was fine, that the tenants were happy. They made us to feel that we were robbed and the law was ineffective to protect us-the landlord.

Highly recommend using Entwistle Green Leyland and Chorley branch. I previously used another letting agent in the area and I was very disappointed. I can't thank the Maghull Office in Merseyside enough for the help support and commitment the team provided throughout the purchase of my home. The knowledge, skills and abikity the team have is amazing, and although they are very busy, they always had time to help and assist. Communication was excellent throughout my purchase, to include excellent interpersonal skills that always made me feel reassured. The branch Manager Sarah and Georgia were totally amazing at their job and really lovely people. Sam, who was my financial advisor was truly both a lovely person and excellent at his job. Moving home is a stressful time, however. The team at Maghull helped me from start to end. I would highly recommend the team at Maghull to help with house sale,purchase or mortgages. Thoroughly professional, I was very happy with the service provided. Communications throughout were prompt and clear. I felt I was offered sound advice and guidance throughout, proactive in a positive way without being pushy. It's hard to separate the service provided from the individuals who provided it. The team was very good at selling their services to us as well as putting the house on the Market and sell it. However when it comes to customer aftercare and keeping in touch during the conveyancing process was a different story. From advising us to use Countrywide Conveyancing to us having to chase all parties involved to get the process moving while listening to patronising answers on why this whole madness takes 6 months to complete was not part of the package we have been told we are getting at the beginning. Quite poor performance considering that we were the customer who paid their fees. (Even the couple who bought the house from us told me they would never chose Entwistle Green to sell the property again) Meanwhile do understand that in the current Covid Climate things do take a bit longer, we have friends and neighbours who have put their properties on the market and completed within 4 months so not sure a simple chain like ours why couldn't do just that. Thank you Helen in the office however who had nothing to do with our sale for jumping in and helping out.

So refreshing to deal with enthusiastic knowledgeable staff. Rachael was fantastic on the phone and left a great first impression. Poppy came to do the valuation and was really took time to discuss everything and again had the knowledge and was prepared fully. They put themselves out for viewings etc where others estate agents make little effort to accommodate a date a time you need. I will 100% be using these girls. Brilliant 👏

We just purchased our first ever home through Entwistle Green Leyland. Being new to this process and naturally OCD/worrying kind of person, I had millions of questions and concerns. Emily has the patience of a saint. From day one she really looked after us and has done everything she can to make it stress free. Even down to helping source local people for jobs that needed doing. I previously left a good review for Entwistle Green because we were so happy with how quick and smooth the process initially seemed, but it has since turned into a complete disaster. We paid both the holding deposit and tenancy deposit for a property after being told everything had gone through, that the landlord had agreed, and that we were due to collect the keys on the 29th. They reassured us multiple times that there were no issues, even sending us information to set up our utility accounts. Based on this, we spent hundreds of pounds on furniture, Wi-Fi installation, and other essentials ready for move-in day. Then, the day before we were due to move in, we received a call saying the landlord had not signed the tenancy agreement and had pulled out, meaning the tenancy was never confirmed. This was completely shocking, especially as Entwistle Green had told us everything was approved. To make matters worse, we’ve since discovered that the same property is now listed again with another agent (Adore Property) at the same rental price, which makes us question whether the landlord truly pulled out or whether this was mishandled by Entwistle Green. Although they’ve agreed to refund our money, we have to wait nearly two weeks to get it back, leaving us unable to secure another property and out of pocket for cancellation fees. The entire experience has been incredibly stressful, inconvenient, and disappointing. Would not recommend using Entwistle Green, their lack of communication, internal errors, and failure to handle things professionally have caused us a huge amount of unnecessary hardship.

5 stars for the agency and Mrs Dora Seimeni in Warrington's Entwistle Green

I arrived in Warrington in January knowing nobody in the city. Searching a flat online did not help a lot. Walking by entwistle green i decided to enter and ask for more info! Luckily Mrs Dora Seimeni was there who was more than helpful. After she showed me some flats in the city, indecided to review one. Dora could not be more helpful really, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me understand how the bills work, how to accommodate etc. being totally new in the country knowing nothing, i m thankful that i found her. Entwistle Green as well was immediately next to me when something needed to be fixed in my flat! 5 stars, can’t recommend enough both the agency and my agent Dora.
