I had my inspection today with Monika and I honestly just wanted to give some feedback… I have only had her as my property manager for a matter of months but cannot fault her work rate, effort or dedication! She is a true asset to Dexter’s, was fabulous to finally meet her and I really hope she sticks around as she is so quick at providing solutions! Clearly someone who really cares about her job and the people she is working for/with… feel very supported and well looked after!

The branch at Kingston is absolutely amazing,very helpful and understanding personnel.Jack from the letting department is absolutely amazing.He was able to guide us through the whole renting procedure and make it very simple to understand as this was our first rent we weren’t quiet sure what the process was.Definitely recommend renting or buying with dexters at the Kingston branch.Staff are very lovely!!!

Everyone knows how hard it can be to deal with all problems and issues coming up here and there in our homes, but it makes a big difference when you have right people working in agencies. I moved in to a new property and received the inventory. The inventory had the hoover in it and the hoover was broken. I contacted George at Dexters and he sort the issue immediately in a very smoothly way. Thanks George for sort this out so quick.

I have used this estate agent for letting my property for nearly 4 years. For the first three years, I couldn’t fault them, but the staff have Changed hands and I would not recommend them. The majority of staff are incompetent they make so many mistakes and their Fees are high. I did complain to the director and it was a waste of my time. My last tenancy agreement they failed to put in a break clause and I’m now unable to break free of them unless I give them vast amounts of money. Although I have to ride this out, I will not be using them again in the future. I do not recommend them.

GoogleLydia Harrison has been a fantastic help. I have rented in about 4-5 places over the last 3 years, in Birmingham and London, all with different estate agents. Lydia and the team have been, by far, the best to deal with and made us feel the most welcomed / looked after / fair. I’ve had some really bad experiences with estate agents, but the Peter James team have given me faith that not all estate agents are the same, and have rebuilt my trust. Can’t thank them enough. 👍

I've lived in London for 9 years, and since renting from different agencies, it's been a mixed bag. Dexters has been without a doubt the best by far when it comes to their property management team (SE London team). Myra originally secured the property for us, and throughout our 3 years she was an absolute angel, addressing property maintenance issues quickly whilst communicating perfectly, always on the other end of the phone.I was introduced during our final year to Nikki and Mary-Ann, and the level of care and attention they gave our end of tenancy was second to none. Having worked in lettings myself, I would've killed to have a team like this. Immensely personable, always willing to meet in the middle and always on the other end of the phone.As a tenant, having people of this calibre supporting you is crucial in a city where agents are often careless. Dexters have managed to bring the mindset, care and attention of a small, local agency to a large company. Hats off to them!

EDIT: I have received a swift resolution to the below issue and so I have amended my review accordingly. Since reaching out to Dexters (which was lovely and helpful) I have since been bombarded by sales post. I asked to be removed from the list and yet the letters keep coming. It's roughly one a fortnight. The latest letter contains inaccurate information about my property being for sale which it is not, with an agent I've never spoken to and at a price its never been listed at. Having already tried to speak directly to them, I'm now feeling ignored and frustrated that I keep having my time wasted.

GoogleLettings agents very friendly and professional, however the management division can be rather ineffective. That being said, they released my deposit with little fuss. Main issues included: No hot water in 1st floor kitchen for a year, repeated plumber no-shows. When boiler for basement kitchen breaks, management tells us on the phone we'll need to bring someone in after the problem is described. They then tried to charge us for the service they instructed us was needed to fix the hot water.
