Poor customer service and failure to keep assurances.I requested details on a development in shrewsbury and was told they would be sent to me by the the agent promoting the property. Several weeks passed without any contact, so I called again and was told the agent would get back to me within the hour; needless to say, he did not. Very unprofessional.

Strutt & Parker Lewes are the reason estate agents get a poor name. They dragged us on for two weeks, avoiding talking on the phone, not giving any indication of when they would contact us and becoming short & rude when called on their day off, which had the agent (James) informed us of his working times, would not have happened. Being rude for his mistake was not appreciated. They even had the audacity to update pictures of the property we had applied for on Rightmove before informing us that we were unsuccessful (for no reason other than our pets which they assured us would be no problem when viewing.)Avoid this estate agent if you want to get an honest and timely service !

GoogleWe chose a national agent as we hoped to appeal to a larger market as our property was quite unique. We didn't feel that our property was marketed at all.... just the usual websites and a very expensive brochure which we feel is quite redundant in this digital age. We had to ask for photos to be redone and we suggested ways of promoting our property. Communication was patchy... and accepting it was a difficult time ... often the phone would go unanswered. When we did secure a sale it was us who chased solicitors etc. Would not use again.

After having lived in one of the flats they manage during one year, and after all the issues we have faced (moisture, leaking pipes, disgusting stuffs coming out of the pipes in the bathtub, etc) we have now left the flat. Unfortunately, they do not respond to our emails anymore and complete radio silence in regards to our deposit, although the contract mentioned that it should have been returned at the latest a few months ago. If issue not resolved, legal action will be taken against the company.

I recently had to decide which estate agent we would use to sell our 20 acre Farm in Ewhurst.I had lived on the farm for over 15 years, and had converted the farm outbuildings into affordable units for letting.We eventually chose Strutt and Parker, and right from the word go, Ken Roberts advised us to split the farm into four separate units, so that prospective buyers could either buy the whole farm or the separate units.Splitting one title into four separate titles is a lot of work. We made good use of Strutt and Parker's mapping team who are land registry approved.This made getting drawings a simple task.We also used the amazing team at Strutt and Parker to produce a brochure showing the four separate units, which once published on the web sites caused a massive response, such that we were getting in excess of twelve viewings per day.We were looked after by an experience team of property sales negotiators who handled all the viewings and dealt with the prospective purchasers.Thanks go to Nadia, Pippa, Holly, Sarah-Jane, Debra,Stephanie and in particular to Jackie who has a special relationship with the solicitors acting for both the seller and the purchaser.Working together the team at Strutt and Parker, sold all four lots and dealt with lots of tricky questions to achieve total farm sold for the price they thought they could achieve from the outset. I would not hesitate to use Strutt and Parker again.Ian Mills

GoogleAn absolute joke of a company. As a tenant, you are completely ignored in a crisis. No one will try and help you, unless it’s been days and they will lie and say that they are experiencing lots of calls although this is an automated message that’s on all year because they don’t want to answer their phones on a Saturday. Avoid at all costs. Have been left in a dangerous situation but that’s okay - employees of STRUTT and Parker, hope you’re enjoying your weekend on a Saturday during working hours. ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONES!
