We were having to work with Strutt & Parker through the other side choosing this company as their valuers. They are rubbish at site valuations,take months to respond. Meanwhile send Invoice after Invoice for work they haven't carried out or have any proof of such works being done. Bad communication. Particularly Anthony Field!

Edward Thomson of Strutt and Parker is the real deal in a tank full of sharks in the London real estate market. His advice when I bought a short-lease apartment in Cadogan Place was invaluable. I have since gone on to refurbish the property and extended the lease to create some real value. I’d trust Ed, whether on the buy or sell side. He’s in it for the long-term, and repeat business is his goal. A relationship, not just a quick fling!

Gary and Dan at the Strutt & Parker Lewes Office were incredibly helpful, insightful and professional throughout all our dealings with them over the probate sale of our mother's house. From the outset they were so amicable, thoughtful and sensitive to our situation and handled everything with great diplomacy, tact and the appropriate level of enthusiasm. We chose Strutt and Parker initially as found a house they were selling that we loved, so got them to value ours. On meeting Adrian we liked him right away because of his care and manner. We didn’t get that first house but it got us on the market and Adrian sent us details quickly of another one that had just come on. That was our house and thanks to Gary we were able to secure it quickly with his prompt and fast communication. They both worked together to make us feel supported throughout the process and to get us our beautiful home. I am very grateful to both Gary and Adrian for their contribution to what can be a very stressful time and for providing humour when it was most needed.

Strutt and Parker Lewes were a brilliant during our recent sale. We went to them after failing to sell with another agent who inflated the asking price. From the start they were completely professional. Produced an excellent brochure and used their network to generate interest, especially from London. We received a good offer from reliable and trustworthy buyers and have now sold. Special praise for Daniel Edmunds who has behaved with great professionalism throughout. Always sympathetic and wise beyond his age. Hi advice was always well judged and proved effective. He did everything he promised and was unfailingly sound in his judgement. And always on time! I have just sold my house and bought another house through Strutt and Parker and they have been absolutely brilliant. I recognise that the positive experience I have had is largely down to the staff team who managed both the selling and purchase. Daniel Edmunds and Gary Marples were both excellent. Daniel's valuation for our house proved to be spot on and we had a lot of interest from the moment it was advertised with people coming from London as well more local areas. During the sale process they were always available and also kept us updated as everything progressed. Cambridge rentals fiasco

This relates to the rentals service in Cambridge. We rented a house from Strutt & Parker for more than three years. They were never quick to deal with repairs and other issues, however we had a direct relationship with the owner which made life easier. When we moved out at the end of June 2024, we got the full benefit of Strutt & Parker's contempt for tenants, stunning slowness and incompetence. It took them nearly four months -- until 28 October 2024 -- to return the deposit. There was a litany of lame excuses about the time needed for estimates for some minor repairs. The reality was that it just wasn't a priority, they didn't care and they couldn't even work out which photographs attached to the contract corresponded to which actual rooms. If you rent property in Cambridge, beware this lot. Or at least be ready to suffer.
