Terrible experience

I entrusted the potential sale of my lease hold flat to them, and wished i had not. Their sales adviser came round and gave me the usual sales pitch, and explained how they were the experts, with proper advertising and marketing. She took what was she thought, to be the relevant pictures and video on her own camera, saying it would be better than the other service which is provided at a cost. The other service would also take some weeks. I signed up and asked for a prompt advert. The flyer was mailed to me. When i noticed important information was missing, immediately I tried to contact the sales adviser, to inform her. She was unavailable. Asked for her to contact me. No reply. Too late, the property was already onto the internet. They failed to display all of the relevant rooms, and mention recent upgrade changes I had made to the property. Too late now the property is online not looking it's best. Particularly against other more professionally advertised company marketing.I later discovered, she/they did not take my contact number correctly, so they could not make contact with me by phone'. I would conclude, they are an amateurish, greedy- the most expensive, and unprofessional outfit. No, the property did not sell, or attract any offers, or viewings.

Home purchase made easy

We purchased our dream home through Cubitt and West and were, unfortunately, part of a long chain, taking several months to complete. Julie ensured that we were kept informed of every step along the way making it easy to liaise with solicitors and other key players involved in the process. It really did go without a hitch and we are now all smiles, as we walk around our lovely new home!

Very helpful and professional

We were assisted by Julie Bramble who was our link between our solicitors and buyers. No question was too much trouble and she always got back to us when she said she would. She made the whole experience which took over six months easier to handle, even if it was just to give reassurance that things were moving along. The whole team were very helpful.

Terrible agency - appalling service

Terrible agency. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I made an appointment to view a property last Saturday. This was confirmed by text and email. However when I called the office when I was 10 mins away, they kept me on hold for 5 mins before telling me there was no appointment and no one could show me the property. If they can’t even get that right why would you trust them to buy or sell your property?

Shocking management and horrendous tenants

Shocking management of our house that was left in pristine order for the tennants that were supposedly vetted from April 2022 to January 2024. stipulations in our lease were ignored ranging from unauthorsed painting to sneaking in animals and carpets burnt with an iron. Broken pedistals, damaged floors,holes in roof and filthy state left in with mould along with an unkept garden and a damaged climbing frame, broken suitcases left in our shed. Every time i complained or brought things to their attention C&W would just reply with how they couldnt really do much to ensure the tenants upheld the agreements in the lease. They take days to reply to emails and requests to get things fixed and promise so much that they just dont deliver. Considering we have bought and sold through them since 2008 id expect some form of loyalty from them and measures taken to right the situation! They show zero regard for the personal attachment we had to our family home and we entrusted it to them based on the sales pitch they gave. Wont be letting with them again thats for sure.
