Our sale and purchase took around 18 months and during that time Leysbrook Estate Agents could not have been more helpful. The initial contact with Andrew was handled very professionally. We were very pleased with the way in which our property was marketed. Both the description and the images were excellent. A WhatsApp group was set up by Leysbrook and Nikki and the rest of the team were always on hand to deal with our questions. The recommendations they gave us of solicitors, surveyors and removals firms also proved to be excellent. When we lost a buyer (through no fault of Leysbrook) they were immediately on the case and found a new buyer very quickly. Our experience of buying a house certainly confirmed to us that not all Estate agents go the extra mile but we are truly grateful that Leysbrook treated us as a valued customer throughout the whole process.

Andrew and his team at Leysbrook have been nothing short of fantastic in selling my home in Hitchin. An offer was secured after the first viewing and has gone all the way through to completion. From initial contact with Andrew, who spent a great deal of time understanding my needs and expectations, providing excellent advice on a tricky situation and recommending a great legal team; to Nikki who has been excellent in keeping communication clear and up to date, always responding quickly to queries and pushing the process along. Recently sold a Bungalow via Leysbrook. We dealt with Simon initially for the valuation and getting it listed, and then Donna mainly from then on. It sold quickly and for over what we had been told to expect which was a nice surprise. Genuinely nice people. Really good communication throughout. They were both helpful, knowledgable and were really professional - but also showed a bit of personality which was lovely. After the sale was completed they even delivered us a card and a gift to thank us for using them. Made a what could have been a stressful life event easy. It’s not often I’d take the time fill out a review online but felt compelled to with these guys. Strongly recommend giving them a try.

Recently sold our property with Leysbrook. We had never used an independent estate agents before but we’re so glad we did! On instruction the whole team got involved with creating our brochure. Andrew then took the lead on viewings and kept regularly in touch. Once sold Andrew then advised us the best way to negotiate our purchase. Donna took charge going forward with our transaction/chain. We unfortunately had many many hurdles to cross elsewhere in our chain but Donna was hugely instrumental in making it all happen. Communication was always swift. The whole team are professional, polite, organised and proactive. I would recommend them without a doubt.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the services of Leysbrook Estate Agents. Having first signed up with a larger local agent and got nowhere (12 weeks), we signed up with Leysbrook, and the difference was there from the beginning. Rather than just facilitating a house sale, Leysbrook are proactive and actively sell your house! Seems obvious, but my belief is that the larger local agents hoard housing stock, and have no sense of urgency, nor strategy for actively selling your house. Leysbrook are totally different, and act more like property consultants. Before we signed up, we knew what the strategy was for plan A, B and C, timings, local and national statistics, and we worked together on deciding what was realistic. With the previous agent, I sometimes went weeks without communication, not so with the team at Leysbrook. The whole team from start to finish of the process went above and beyond, and earned every penny of their commission! I received guidance not only on the sale of my house, but also on the search for and purchase of my new house, helping me with negotiations and tactics etc, totally invaluable. 5 stars all day long.

Can’t praise these guys enough, would give them 10 stars if I could. We both purchased & sold a house for my Mum with them & they ensured the whole process went ahead timely, efficiently & with zero stress for my elderly Mum. We met Andrew when he showed us around the house we purchased, he wasn’t pushy (no one appreciates a pushy salesman) just let us view & answered any questions we posed. My Mum met Andrea when her home was to be photographed etc & Mum took such a shine to her I think if she could she may have adopted her. Donna was a star through the whole journey of buying & selling, constantly keeping us updated & pushing sellers, buyers & Solicitors for results. Nothing was ever too much trouble & she as did Andrea treated my Mum with the upmost respect, patience & kindness. Amazing service from start to end. Andrew was the best estate agent we've dealt with not pushy to get a deal just honest from the start. Leysbrook weren't the cheapest option but they were worth every penny, they got us more for our property than we had even hoped for and even helped advise on the one we were purchasing. Andrea and Donna were also amazing with great communication throughout viewing and the sale process. We really appreciated the little extras like having a group WhatsApp chat with team keeping us up to date on progress and Andrea popping round on our last day in the house. Our search for an estate agent was a considered affair… after meeting several, it was clear that none of the ‘chain’ agents came close, and of the independents, Leysbrook shone from first encounter. Andrew knows the business well. His advice on marketing our home raised thoughts and ideas that were strategic and clever. Communication was managed via a WhatsApp group which worked really well and ensured everyone was in the loop who needed to be. Leysbrook managed viewings per our request and all were conducted efficiently and reliably. It took a while… we did after all end up going live on the day of a certain Prime Minister’s resignation! We eventually got a buyer and enter Donna, who very capably took over the progression process. Good communication and moreover, empathy. Especially when our buyer lost their buyer, the upper chain threw a wobbly and it all collapsed! Re-enter Andrew… and this was the extra value of Leysbrook. Our buyers’ Estate Agents were about as useful as the famed chocolate teapot… Andrew stepped in to advise and support our own buyers on remarketing their property to reform the chain. That was impressive to say the least. With chain reformed, and other estate agents/solicitors meandering at a snail's pace, Donna then kept chivvying them along - at times in a double act with our solicitor (recommended by Leysbrook and a first rate firm). Similarly Donna kept in touch with our buyers and ensured communication and reassurance. Moving house in England is for some reason a guaranteed nightmare. You play roulette with sums of money you never imagined and could lose at the drop of a hat because somebody drops out on a whim. Or because people elsewhere in the chain panic or get frustrated and withdraw. To navigate this minefield you need a good dose of hope and luck. Wine numbs the pain. But moreover you *need* a good Estate Agent and Solicitor. We got both. Thanks to the Leysbrook team for getting us - and frankly the whole chain - into our new homes.

Leysbrook were not our estate agents, they were the sellers agents however, Donna was absolutely fantastic, she did a better job than our actual estate agents, going above and beyond to chase solicitors for us and so on. Her communication was excellent, she updated us promptly wherever she could, I don't know what we would have done without her, she made an extremely stressful time in our lives slightly more bearable and we are extremely grateful. We have just sold our property through Leysbrook. From the very beginning we experienced first class service from Andrew and his team. We had previously tried to sell with another agency, with no success, myself and my husband were very wary of who to go with. Andrew came to the house and spent 2 hrs understanding our needs, listening to what was important and at no time gave us the hard sell. From the start of the process the communication was fantastic, we had our own Whats app group that we asked questions in, and we’re answered both in and out of working hours. The house pretty much Sold immediately. Leysbrook offered exceptional aftercare, which to us was the most important thing, as nervous sellers. They are more expensive than other agencies, but you get what you pay for, they earned every penny of their fee. I would 100% recommend Leysbrook to anyone thinking of selling their house.
