We were initially struggling to sell our home when Taylors approached us, aggressively pursuing our business and making very confident promises about what they could do for us. They talked up their statistics and success figures and assured us they could see our property selling within weeks. Unfortunately, once we instructed them, the experience could not have been more different. Once our property was on the market, it felt as though we were simply forgotten about. There were no weekly updates, no proactive communication and seemingly no real effort whatsoever to generate interest. Any contact we had with them was initiated by us. When we actually went into the office to ask how things were progressing, we were essentially dismissed with a casual “no interest” response. Yet, in the same breath, they were very keen to peacock their statistics and figures at us, as though impressive company-wide numbers somehow demonstrated what they were actually doing to sell our property. Statistics mean very little when there appears to be no effort being made to generate interest in the first place. We even asked them to put our property in their office window to increase its exposure. When it was eventually displayed, it was done with such little care that the listing was haphazardly placed and visibly wonky. It sounds like a small thing, but it perfectly reflected the overall attitude we experienced: minimal effort and seemingly no pride in representing our property. We had one viewing, which itself felt like a complete afterthought. There was no sense of urgency, enthusiasm or genuine effort to secure a sale. When a property isn't selling, surely that is when an estate agent should be working harder, contacting potential buyers, discussing strategy, increasing marketing and actively trying to generate interest. Instead, it felt as though they simply gave up. It genuinely seemed that their entire strategy was to put the property on Rightmove and wait for enquiries to come in. We even had to chase them to put a “For Sale” sign outside our house four weeks after the property had gone on the market. Things became even more frustrating when we asked for the property to be removed from their listings. Our request wasn't even acknowledged. The contrast between the enthusiasm and persistence when they were trying to win our business and the complete lack of engagement once they had it was staggering. Selling a home is stressful enough without having to repeatedly chase the estate agent you've employed to actually do their job. Based entirely on our experience, be very wary of Taylors. Our experience was that once our property didn't sell within the first few weeks, the proactive marketing and chasing seemed to stop altogether. There was no sense that anyone was genuinely fighting to sell our home. The customer service was, quite honestly, truly horrendous. We expected communication, marketing, feedback, initiative and genuine effort. Instead, we felt abandoned almost immediately after instructing them. The experience was a stark reminder that impressive statistics and confident promises mean very little if the actual service you receive afterwards doesn't match them. I would absolutely not recommend Taylors based on our experience.

We are excited to be completing on our property sale tomorrow and it would be hugely remiss of us if we did not record our appreciation of Sarah and her team at Taylors Leighton Buzzard. They were recommended to us after a local competitor we'd appointed failed to arouse much interest at all over some 6 months. In essence, Taylors secured 3 offers from 3 viewings in the first fortnight of marketing the property for us only last March. Throughout the engagement there was minimum hype but maximum delivery through constantly updating us of the progress over their interaction with solicitors and prospective buyers. Ever ready to talk to us on the phone and to welcome us to their office whenever we needed guidance, we had no doubt that we were in the right hands. There has been not one iota of complacency given the early SSTC, with their tenanacity and professionalism shining like beacons from the very first day we met them. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them just as they were recommended to us.

I cannot recommend Taylors enough! Me, my partner (and our son) have just purchased our first home and we were very nervous and unsure of the process, however everyone at Taylors were extremely friendly and helpful and reassured us that they were always there to help and answer any questions we had. We had the absolute pleasure of having Ellie as our sales agent. Ellie is so kind, welcoming and an absolute asset to Taylors! She was very knowledgeable about the house and answered any questions we had on our first viewing and after too. My mum and Dad asked me to help them sell their house a few weeks ago. They had a difficult time last year with a large, but passive local agent. I sought advice from a friend in the industry. He recommended Taylors (Sarah in particular) as the only local agent he would use. What a recommendation it has been! I have been involved through the sales process (albeit short!!), absolute 'light and shade' performance wise compared to their previous agent. Meh is the best I can really give them. Gave them my details had plenty of calls from when but when I rang back 5mins later said who I was they had no clue who might of rang me and why said they would find out and get the person to call two weeks later same thing would happen and again two weeks after that an ongoing cycle of calls. Would seem to me someone just kept calling my mobile to hit some sort of call target rather than actually having anything to sell or discuss. Had an email.off the owner suggesting the poor service is 'alleged' and somehow my fault what idiots are running the place? We were treated really bad by this estate agent, we were told by Nicky who worked there we were second in line for a property then heard nothing so we phoned up and spoke to Vanessa the manager and she was very shirty and rude with us and said you probably won't get it, but we was told if we use Taylors solicitor we would have more chance, a tactic they use to get more money out of you and it's illegal to do this, we heard nothing then they phoned us a couple months later and said the property is available again and your next in line same rubbish again, Nicky told us a load of rubbish and many untruths and Vanessa was a very unprofessional manager, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ESTATE AGENT

Let agreed with someone else a few days later without us being notified.
