Very poor service

Very poor service, no one can ever answer the phone , therefore anyone wanting to view can not get through. Everything is done by Street App- very impersonal Also they only want to progress a sale if it means they get to sell another house , they get commission for placing a house up for sale. They have also divulged someone else’s personal information on my Street App The worst estate agent available

Thanks to the team at Ashtons Leigh! We didn’t have the easiest of moves to get through, but the team were great throughout, from arranging and completing viewings to chasing solicitors and keeping things moving along. We really appreciated their help and support during what sometimes felt like a stressful process. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Recommendation for Mollie and Emma

Hi Mollie and Emma, I wanted to drop a line to thank you for your support during our recent move. The organization skills you both displayed were top-tier, and I was consistently impressed by your attention to detail when coordinating between all the different parties. It’s rare to find agents who stay on top of the moving parts so effectively, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed. Thanks for getting us across the finish line! Best, Marcus

Buying a house seemed pretty daunting to me as a first-time buyer, and I've asked a load of dumb questions, but Mollie and the team have been helping out in a friendly and professional manner, and made the whole process seem a lot less intimidating. She has been on-the-ball chasing, negotiating and communicating on my behalf and keeping the process moving along! I've had/heard horror stories about EAs in the past, but Mollie and the team at Ashtons have proven that there's some really good ones out there. Absolutely zero complaints from me, top notch service!

Cannot complain about any aspect of our experience with Ashtons Estate Agents. Emma came round to value the house, we were pleased with her valuation and decided to go ahead and put the house on the market. Since then we have dealt with Molly on a few occasions , she has dealt with our queries promptly and efficiently. On the whole we found both Emma and Molly very professional. We would definitely recommend to others.

Outstanding service

We have just made an offer on a property with Ashtons. Initially Alex White answered the phone and he became my main contact as we negotiated a sale. When Alex was not in I also spoke with Alix Lucas they were both so lovely, very easy to talk to and very professional and kept me updated through the process. Thank you to them both! Offer accepted!

Mollie was the contact for the house I was buying, she was a pleasure to deal with. Always on the end of the phone for any queries I had. She would chase up anything we needed straight away too. Fab service! If I ever sell this house I will be using Ashtons myself.

Steer clear

The most unpleasant experience I have ever had with an estate agent. This once market leader has become the worst estate agent in York and it is all down to the attitude of the front line staff. Staff couldn't even answer the phone in a professional manor, never once got back to me and when chased they were rude on the phone. When questioned about their commitment to their responsibilities they became arrogant, even more rude and passive aggressive. If you ever have need of an estate agent, steer clear of these guys, they are the worst.

Really good estate agents. Kept in contact throughout with regular updates. Makes it easy as all viewings or offers can be viewed through an app. Would definitely recommend.
