A hassle free & fully managed property sale service

I was using RentMyHome before SellMyHome which belongs to the same business group I guess. It was a seamless sale experience to me as most matters were dealt with directly by SellMyHome teams. Daniel who was my account manager assisted me right from the beginning to the very end. From sales price research to arranging viewings and negotiating with buyers, you can trust them always putting your interests as top priority; from sales agreed to sales completion, you can rely on them to keep tracking progress on your behalf and make sure it get completed soonest possible. So yeah, a perfect experience I enjoyed from SellMyHome. :) We'll be renting out and selling again at some point next year, so I expect we'll continue using their services without a second thought!

Great service from the whole team, Sharon and Felix were brill. Made extra effort to schedule viewings outside of work times. Sarah in particular was fantastic, excellent communication and a very friendly, lovely lady. Prompt replies and always available to chat over the phone. Amazing service from start to finish!

From the very first phonecall right through to the day our property was sold, Sell My Home were extremely professional in both their communications & service. They were always quick to let us know that viewings had been requested via the online system, and would be very efficient in following up with them for feedback, meaning that we were always kept in the loop. At offer stage, and despite our main contact being out of the office on that particular day, the rest of the team could not have been more helpful in dealing with our negotiations and keeping us informed of the situation. We managed to get everything tied up that same day!I know many people who think the process of buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful you can experience, but for us it could not have been more stress-free. Having decided to go with Sellmyhome following a friend's recommendation and reading their outstanding reviews, my husband and I entered this process with a certain amount of apprehension. As a working couple we would naturally gravitate towards the more traditional high street option. However given the potential savings, Sellmyhome's outstanding reviews and the reassurance and support we received from Will from the outset convinced us otherwise. One of our main concerns was finding time to conduct the viewings but we got round this by organising an open morning on the weekends.We were amazed by the level of interest we received. The user dashboard made the whole process extremely easy for us to manage not only our availability for viewings but enabled us to answer any queries (of which there were quite a few as the property has development potential). The Sellmyhome team were on hand, polite, attentive and always seemed willing to go beyond the call of duty. Indeed we received 3 offers within two weeks which were managed professionally and we were delighted to have accepted an offer following some skilful negotiation by Will and his team.We genuinely cannot recommend this company enough. I'll never go high street agent again...

I cannot fault Sellmyhome as a selling agent - for the price I had more attention and support than some high street agents. Mine was a tricky sale of a park home with lots of pitfalls and regulations so prospective buyers had to be screened quite carefully. Sellmyhome were thoughtful, smart and upbeat - considering they're not chasing commission their customer service is second to none. I sold to the right buyer and have had personal followup since from my account manager. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them - it's a slick setup aimed at minimising your stress.

Sell My Home took just two weeks to sell my flat for GBP 25K above the asking price in January 2017, after four high street agents had failed to sell it for a full year prior. Whatever was stopping my flat from selling in 2016 (stamp duty changes dampening the buy-to-let market in April, Brexit in June, or the lacklustre performance of agents ?), from the moment I talked to Tom Crosthwaite at SellMyHome they were like the light at the end of the tunnel. Friendly, upbeat, thoughtful and insightful they had a can-do attitude and the team spirit of a start-up that fully believe in their offering (and have the awards to prove it). They deserve to succeed because they have stripped away the jargon and obfuscation, the needless firewalls between you and the buyer and demystified estate agency. "Who knows your property better than you?" is their motto and I don't believe it was just the GBP25K price reduction after Christmas 2016 that sold my flat, since it went for the pre-reduction asking price anyway. Taking control of the sale with SellMyHome restored my shaken confidence in myself, my property and the housing market. The photographs they took were excellent and the listing looked fresh and professional. I enjoyed meeting potential buyers after the depressing, anxiety-inducing experience of being disconnected from the selling process (of the High Street agents) that was not yielding results. I received five offers from the seven viewings I conducted and believe the verbal and non-verbal communication between myself and the vendors was key, they could tell I was on their wavelength, understood their hopes and fears, and indeed was in the same boat as them as I would be having to buy again in the same market as soon as I could sell. I think I answered most of the prospective buyer’s questions before they could ask them, and Harry at SellMyHome did the rest. Most estate agents who do the donkey work of viewings seem to be in their early twenties, and have not bought or sold their own property, so don't intuitively know what buyers want to know or need to hear. Most importantly they haven't lived in your flat, with your neighbours, in your building, in your neighbourhood and travelled across the city to and from your address. By using Sell My Home not only did I save around 7K of agency fees, the buyer of my property said how much they had preferred dealing directly with me throughout, having previously been gazumped in a process managed by a high street agent. I did not opt for the 'completion management' package offered by SellMyHome for the reason just mentioned and because I had the time and inclination to do it myself, however I can see it would be useful in other circumstances. Without fail everyone at Sell My Home from the photographer, to the technician who loaded my listing onto the system, and those who alerted me to viewing requests, was polite, friendly and professional. The whole culture of Sell My Home feels young, vibrant, honest, intelligent and full of energy and motivation to get things done. It is the missionary zeal of a disruptive business model which knows they are 'the future of estate agency'. SellMyHome are a classier outfit trying much harder than Purple Bricks who I also approached, which felt to me like a high street agent in disguise with the same impersonal service. SellMyHome's vibrant blue and green image of a clenched fist raised to the sky on their 'Sold' board is a visual echo of the slogan on their website: Join the property revolution! They have indeed returned to people the power to buy and sell their own property. Seize that power with SellMyHome - it is the ultimate win-win if they can get achieve the scaleability to make their pioneering efforts pay. In its economy of time and resource, it feels right and makes sense. It won’t be long before we wonder why we ever did it any other way.

Very Smooth process

We decided to go down the online estate agent route and were delighted we did so. Sell My Home were very helpful throughout and guided us through the process expertly. The viewing process was slightly more complicated than using high street agents but this was only marginal and we actually found it was useful to do the selling on a more personal basis anyway. The savings you make is a complete no brainer in our opinion.We had an offer accepted over the asking price within a week of being on the market!

Great job Sell My Home

When we put our house on the market we decided to go with Sell My Home as we seen some very good reviews about them on the internet. They didn't disappoint. Through them we attracted the right people to view our property and we had an offer soon enough and ended up making a sale. Even down to the sale management completion they were excellent in closing the deal. Sell My Home

I cannot recommend Sell My Home highly enough. Online estate agency is the way forward but a lot of the bigger sites have already lost the customer relation side which is so important when it comes to buying/selling houses. Not so with Sell my Home. They had the best, most motivated, friendliest and professional sales team I have ever encountered even when compared to traditional high street agencies. They knew their stuff and helped at every step of the process from setting the price to taking the photos and setting up my property's online portal to communicating with the solicitors and other agents in the chain and were always contactable. Their website was excellent - easy to use and very informative. And their results were excellent. My property sold 3 weeks after going online with Sell My Home at the price I needed to sell it at and I saved myself well over 10,000 GBP in estate agency fees leaving me free to spend the money on kitting out my new house. My dedicated member of the Sell My Home sales team, Harry, was fantastic throughout and I will not hesitate to use Sell My Home next time I move house. Great experience, very keen staff

Decided to sell our home using an online agent and settled on SellMyHome. The staff we spoke to were very keen and we trusted they were doing everything necessary in order to get the house sold. Unlike some other online agents they don't insist you use their preferred solicitors and don't charge you a fee for going with your own, which was a big plus for us. We did opt to pay a fee for the post-sale service but again this is optional. House was sold, got the house we wanted, it all went very well. Would use them again but don't plan on moving anytime soon!

Highly recommended, save yourself a fortune on estate agent fees!

I did extensive research to try and find the best estate agent to sell our house, initially I thought another well known online agent was the best just because they were on TV... Then I looked deeper into the reviews and found that once your house was under offer, they weren't interested in helping you complete the sale. I found a few similar companies that also had the same feedback. The traditional estate agents charged a small fortune so they were out of the running for us! I then found sellmyhome and the reviews said the whole process was very professional, great service, friendly people, brilliant after sales and sales progression, which it was, every part of it was true. We were sent some beautiful flowers by sellmyhome the day before the photographer arrived which was a lovely touch. The photos of our house were exceptional, the guy really knew his stuff, the angles and lighting perfect for every room, the pictures led you from one room to the next so a buyer could really see how the house flowed. I've kept the photos as an everlasting memory of our house looking its absolute best!The ad went live and within 2hrs we had a request to view, the couple came 2 days later and within a few hours offered full asking price. We opted for the sales completion package, which if you aren't very familiar or confident with the buying and selling house process is well worth the extra money, it wasn't even very expensive. It meant sellmyhome were the go-between for the entire chain, chasing solicitors and agents etc. negotiating offers and keeping everyone in the loop. We had issues with both ends of the chain through the process however Will and Harry @sellmyhome between them helped to ensure everything stayed as on track as they could, some things were totally out of their realms of abilities due to the 'difficult man' we purchased from and the person at the beginning of the chain who dropped out halfway through! The people buying our house used the other well known agent to sell their house that I had considered, these agents were as useful as a chocolate fireguard, they did exactly what I had read in the reviews, which was pretty much nothing once their house was under offer, they failed to communicate with anyone, Harry from sellmyhome ended up doing their job for them! I won't pretend it was a stress-free experience, it was really frustrating at times with the things that happened however these weren't due to sellmyhome, without them we would still be sat in our old house waiting for things to happen, they really did earn their pennies for sales completion! If we ever moved again, or if someone I knew was looking to move, I would have no hesitation in recommending sellmyhome. With the added bonus that the fees are considerably lower than a high street/local estate agent with an exceptional service in with the bargain. Many thanks especially to Harry, he was buying a house himself at the same time, so he could completely relate to our experience, quite how he kept sane with all that going on himself I don't know! Just do it!

If you're thinking about selling with an online agent but unsure, I'd recommend this company. They practically hold your hand all the way and it's shocking that other estate agents can charge thousands for the same service.I was unsure about DIY home selling as I was a first time seller. After being quoted £2,500 by local estate agents, I decided it was worth a punt at using sellmyhome. I checked a few other online agents but eventually came back to sellmyhome because they were very friendly, helpful, supportive and not at all pushy. That meant a lot to me as a customer. They also had excellent reviews, I won't lie, I'm used to taking the reviewers shortcut.When I finally told Charlie I was ready to sell, it was a sunny Wednesday afternoon in early August. The following day, the photographer was round taking flattering pics and doing the energy rating. On Friday morning, Charlie called to check I was happy with the pictures and by the afternoon, my house was live on rightmove and other portals. By 5pm that day, I had received 2 calls from the sellmyhome team to confirm viewing appointments. I had my first viewings on the Saturday and my first offer on Sunday!The final offer I accepted was exactly 2 weeks from when the house was listed. Charlie and the team were excellent throughout with communication and advice on a number of issues, really couldn't have asked for more. I'm pretty sure they were doing more in the background than I paid them for...Moving house is stressful in many ways but I can honestly say, the team at sellmyhome took a great part of that stress for me and at a price I was very satisfied with and a service that was flawless. Excellent in every way

Sellmyhome was excellent in every way and incredible value for money. We initially wanted to try an online agent mostly because of cost, but never regretted the choice. Included in their basic price were photographs, floor plan, and advertising on the three websites we wanted to use, and this was all excellent. We had a large four storey house and the photographs and floor plan took much longer than usual but were first class and at no extra cost. We were sent helpful advice about how to prepare for the photography and were even sent flowers! We wrote our own description, and bookings to view were made on line and confirmed by us. Several of the potential buyers contaced Sellmyhome and told us how helpful they had been. We can only confirm that and it was good to speak to named people about the different problems rather than have to explain over and over again to different people. We had a very long gap of nearly 5 months between the offer we accepted and the exchange of contracts. This was extremely stressful but the people at Sellmyhome did what they could to speed things up and calm us down! We have already recommended this company to others and will continue to do so. We are most grateful to them for being there for us.
