I have not yet completed but my experience so far has been plain sailing. All the team have been really helpful especially Olivia who carried out the valuation who was very sensitive to my personal situation . I also needed help with some paperwork and Olivia took the time to come and sit with me. Would definitely recommend their services.

TrustpilotAvoid - horrible company and staff are useless.
I have had my house for sale with them for 20 weeks (crossgates/Leeds Branch) and it has been the most painful 20 weeks of my life. They have lost me 2 sales on my house due to lack of communication - I should really seek compensation as they have cost me thousands. Unless you want to have yours and the buyers time wasted do not use!

GoogleThe team at Browns Yeadon branch have been great throughout the whole process of selling my mums home. What stands out above other estate agents I have known in the past is their great communication. From feedback about every property viewing, weekly updates and recommendations to then the invaluable community between the buyer, their solicitor and mine until the sale was complete. GoogleJust bought my first ever home with my partner through W H Brown @ yeadon. The guys were great! Made the process so much easier. The whole team was really friendly and supportive. We dealt with their in house mortgage advisor Dan who is brilliant. However throughout the whole process the whole team here were really amazing! Always going above and beyond. Aston at the Swaffham branch was fantastic. He made us feel really comfortable and answered all the questions we had. As first time buyers it can be all very overwhelming at times however Aston made the process very simple. 10/10. Also Tony and Emily at the Swaffham branch are great. All very friendly and they are there for you across your house buying journey.

GoogleWilliam H Brown were fantastic. They were always on the ball, even when everyone else in my sale chain wasn't. They taught me a lot about buying and selling houses, always spoke in plain English (no jargon!). They got me a brilliant price for my house, we sold to lovely people and they were very supportive. I chose them out of several other Estate Agents and went with them because of their incredible marketing campaigns (The Boxing Day campaign was the one!) And reach.

I found a rental property online and asked for a viewing. The property was located over 100 miles from my residence and as a consequence of this the employee said that they had a recent video of the property, she sent it to me and it looked amazing so I put in an offer. Contracts were exchanged and then on the day of moving the agency contacted me to inform me that the cooker had been condemned and had to be removed from the property and that the landlord was now refusing to buy a cooker and that they were not required to provide one. As you can appreciate at this stage I was very upset, however the agents said they would get back to the landlord to see if she would change her mind. The contracts had already been exchanged and the landlord was refusing to honour her side of the agreement on the moving day when the arrangements had been made and I had moved out of my current home. I would not use this company at all they have no common decency and to add salt to the wound I have to take them to court to get my money back for the E first months rent and deposit because they think that I should be held to the fixed term contract and be liable for paying the rent nevertheless! Do not trust this company!!!

The photos and brochure were superb, the advice and communication second to none. When the difficult decision to take my property off the market for personal reasons was made. They again could not have been more understanding and helpful. I have no qualms in recommending them. They are an excellent branch with an excellent team. Richard Atkinson.

GoogleTom was instrumental in getting our chain’s sales and purchases over the line. It was a challenging process and Tom worked hard to ensure all parties were pushing forward. He was the source of communication between us and our vendor and even at the most tense moments I completely trusted that he was doing his utmost to ensure everyone was updated properly and helpfully. Do not use this estate agent. They did not act in our interest and quite openly attempted to bully us into selling our property at well under the market value. We had a ridiculous offer, which they just expected us to take. Zero effort made to push the property after the offer.

If I could score higher, I would! Richie and Charlie are excellent estate agents. Richie was very personable and kept our information on file, so once a property came up to view that met our needs, he contacted us immediately. GoogleThe whole exprience with WH Brown was excellent! From day one Charlotte and her team supported us with information, patience in aswering all of our questions and advice. George was fantasting in updating us throughout the whole process and we felt this helped a lot in ensuring a smooth process. We needed the whole process to be very quick and we are happy to say it actually took only 2 months , which is brilliant! (But do keep in mind that in order for the process to be shorter both seller and buyer need to be on it with all the documentation) the agency can only advise what to do to speed up things.

GoogleATTENTION! If you are looking for an estate agents for your house do not hesitate to pick William H Brown in Yeadon! Unfortunately I didn’t end up buying through them but wish I had. I had constant updates and felt reassured everyday, they just couldn’t do enough for you. If George and Tom couldn’t sort it then the manager Charlotte certainly would sort it out for you, there was nothing she couldn’t do. The whole team are an asset to the brand and show what teamwork is all about. You were always welcomed with a smile from Janet and our mortgage appointment with Dan was extremely thorough and helped us understand every part of the process. GoogleAs a buyer, I had a great experience with William H Brown in Yeadon. Tom was available throughout, always on hand to answer any question or query and to follow up when needed. It's reassuring to have someone who will pick up the phone or quickly respond to an email without hesitation. We had an incredibly long wait to finalise the purchase of the property, without Tom helping to chase things up for us and keep us up to date, I think we would have gone insane. Thanks, Tom and the team, dealing with you was the only smooth part of the process!
