I could not rate William H Brown Yeadon more highly, their tenacity blew me away and I always knew they were doing everything in their power to get the best outcome for me and get my house sale over the finish line. If you are looking for an estate agent to sell your house that is exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, tenacious and always on your side then look no further. William H Brown Yeadon are exactly what you hope your estate agent will be. You can rely on their expertise, integrity and support. They will go above and beyond on your behalf like no other estate agent I’ve experienced before. The whole team are worth their weight in gold. From the very beginning of the process of selling my house they have been exceptional, and this level of service never faltered. They helped to ease the stress involved with selling a property enormously, and for that I will forever be grateful. I must say a very special thanks to Jess who was in constant communication with the chain chasing on updates and always explaining matters to me thoroughly and honestly. I have no doubt that without her exceptional hard work the sale of my house would not have completed by now. To Jess, Tom, Janet and Maria (and George when he was still at the Yeadon branch!)- a wholehearted thank you from me.

I couldn't fault the experience we've had with WH brown Yeadon buying a property through them. The whole office have been absolutely fantastic but a big shout out to George for his diligence, professionalism and support. We've also used their mortgage advisor Dan who was fantastic. The experience we've had with our selling agent (different firm) couldn't be night and day to the one we've had with WH brown so we really do know what good and bad customer service from an agent looks like. And WH Brown is top class. They've got the professionalism and all of their mechanisms in place for customer service. Calling us regularly to keep us updated. George and the team have gone above and beyond to support us with our purchase. Thank you so much for your support WH Brown and we wouldn't hesitate to use you again. PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

If you are selling a house in the Yeadon / Guiseley area then I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Their advice has always been spot on, their communication is excellent and they are the most helpful Estate Agents I've ever dealt with. It took a while to shift our house because of the current market but the frustration was reduced knowing they were on the case. Tom, George and Ben were always so helpful and regularly went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and the sale was dealt with professionally and timely. In short, they were excellent.
