S. YORKS. If I could give a negative score, I would. What an absolute bunch of useless w-----s. As a tenant we, get 6 monthly inspections, not a problem at all. The problem is, they hardly ever do the work needed & when they do, they employ the most r------d & incompetent person possible & the quality of the work is ALWAYS s--t. When you complain, they do nothing about it. For people using them as an agent: they are letting your properties deteriorate while charging you the earth.

I was called in regards to a rental of a property. Property has a tenant renting still while adequate information wasn’t provided. Lastly a hmo was offered which wasn’t what I am or was looking for.

This estate agent gives all the sales patter and promise to do all sorts fail to ring you back lie about the situations going on I have a few properties to sell I've had rented for years but giving them up as retiring I will not be using this company after the last experience all I can say is avoid

This is one of the worst company ever. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 4 months now. mary.mcgarry is the worst representative to work with. they never respond. we have been following for 3 months over call and emails but they pick up call and then keep saying we will get back to you. Never wok with Hunter.

GoogleMy experience with the staff at Hunters was disappointing to say the least. Within two days of our offer being accepted and providing proofs of deposit, morgage approval etc. I recieved an email stating that they had recieved another offer and was told I would have to increase my previous offer or loose the sale. No apology given, for the time wasted on my behalf. Buyers beware! Will not be dealing with Hunters again.
Hunters are regulated by law to pass every offer we receive to the Seller. Section 9: of the Property Ombudsman code of practice states: “By Law, you must tell sellers about all offers that you receive at any time until contracts for the sale have been exchanged, within 2 working days of receipt” In this case, another offer was received, and it was passed to the seller, who then, after the offer was financially qualified gave us instructions to accept it in favour of yours, unfortunately this instruction meant that you did not secure the property. We do understand your frustration with this process and the distress this has caused.

Estate agent was the rudest I've ever seen. Property was rented and we were not told before making a 1 hour trip. Arrived 4 mins past agreed time and we were insulted beyiond measure. I wish I could take legal action against them.

Anytime I contacted Bo Tsang or Steph-Pert-Thomas I got good service & any concerns were addressed quickly. Way Above Average help, lovely people who do their very best fora customer. Thank you for your review, we are sorry to read that you have had a bad experience with us. I can see from our records that your concerns were heard and discussed with you on multiple occasions. I can also reassure you, we did not favour the buyer, as the issue, which you are referring, which caused the long delay, was regarding a specific complex legal issue that came up after the sale was agreed and only the conveyancer could resolve this and as this took the conveyancer a long time to resolve we do understand your frustration with the process, this was definitely not the fault of the buyer or Hunters. We thank you again for working with us, we wish you all the best in the future.

We bought our house through Hunters. Would wait days for responses to emails, take multiple attempts to get them to pick up the phone and when we did get our new home we found that it was full of an absolute mountain of crap. So much for any due diligence before selling the house? Do they not check that the previous owners leave it in an acceptable state before handing it over?

I am a landlord to a small studio in Leeds. Kirsten Airs agreed to drop their 12.5% plus VAT fees down to 10% including VAT, but then didn't do so. She has been avoiding my calls ever since, despite me threatening legal action and to raise a complaint with the ombudsmen. If you are a landlord, I would suggest you don't use this company.

They respond only to the simplest things. Whenever it becomes tiny bit more complicated - nothing is taken care of. We have a leaking pipe on the outside of our property for 8 months. We let them know about this in the first several weeks of our tenancy. Over 8 months it's been back and forth, and NOTHING about this leak has been fixed. Every time someone takes a shower, we have a shower in our conservatory. They do send the workers, true, but only when there is no rain. And these are new workers every time, who look at it, scratch their heads and do nothing.You need to chase them every day, if you want to have anything done. They don't care about you, don't care about the property. The worst experience with the estate agents in my 12 years of renting.

One of the worst agencies you can work with. We booked a viewing for a house, confirmed it that day, drove an hour, and nobody bothered to come. When finally reaching them, after numerous phone calls, they just said they tried to contact us for another day. We had no phone calls, no messages, nothing. The lady I talked to was stunningly rude and yelled constantly. Please STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

THIS RELATES TO HUNTERS IN NORTHENDON M22 4FZ.I have been using Hunters for the last two years and I have to say they are shocking and that is an understatement. Do not use this company. You constantly have to chase them to do things which your paying them for and they never answer their phone. This place is run by Alan who seems to have a chip on his shoulder and under him is John who simply makes it up as he's goes along. I've just ended my agreement with them and my tenant called to say despite promises from them to refund the deposit he still hasn't been paid and could I call them I just did to help him out and was told by Alan they no longer work for me. Just being an absolute idiot with an attitude. He then hung up on me. I went their last week to get the keys back and Nick had been dealing with my account, got told by John he wasn't there and then 5 mins later he walks out of the back room. Just a couple of examples of the way Hunters operate. Stay away from them is my advice. Plenty of estate agents in this area to go to.

Dealing with anyone is this company is painful,we rented a property and hunters were in charge of it,we moved out over a month ago and left the property in good condition,but they took money for deep cleaning without our consent,they took other monies for items they claimed were missing,there emails to us were rude and dismissive,she always argued with everything we said,the most unprofessional person I have ever met,they stole our money from us and now we have to take legal proceedings against themWe are still waiting on receipts from the items they claimed to have bought & the deep cleaning,the apartment didn’t need to be deep cleaned,but the greedy landlord decided to keep most of depositAbsolute disgrace of a company won’t be dealing with them again
