We bought a house through Hardisty and from the start Danny took a really personalised approach to help us secure the house and he took action to get everything moving when we needed to complete in a really short amount of time (to make the stamp duty holiday). Hardisty recently sold my mother in laws flat just outside Leeds. With us living in Berkshire it wasn't easy with viewings and queries but Joe Langley was very helpful and kept us up to date with progress. Living in the South once a purchaser had been found they put us in contact with Gordons LLP who they work alongside and things progressed fairly smoothly to a conclusion and completion last week.

I knew Ornella as a family friend and after getting a disappointing valuation from another Estate Agents, I asked her to come round and tell me what she thought - she was open and honest about everything. The process from Ornella valuing the property, to Sam taking the photos and being in communication with Abigail regarding what was happening with viewings and offers was outstanding. This was my first time letting my house and I felt reassured by comprehensive advice from Daniel on what needed doing to get the house ready to let. Subsequent advice from Nichola was also very helpful in this regard. When the marketing process was underway it all went smoothly and Nichola and Tom provided me with plenty of relevant facts to help me in the difficult task of choosing among all the applications from prospective tenants. The process thereafter went very smoothly and in a timely fashion. Tom was always on hand to answer my queries and give advice in a clear and friendly manner. We bought our house in 2019 so this is a little late, apologies George because you deserved this review much sooner! George was absolutely brilliant - we tried a few estate agents and found a lot of the staff pushy and unreliable. This was not the case at all with the team at Hardisty - everyone was brilliant, with special mention to George who we viewed houses with and who handled everything for us with professionalism and positivity! He made the process of buying our first home far less stressful and was generally brilliant when I got frustrated with the solicitors (who were rubbish). George, I'm sorry it's taken me nearly three years to write this, but your help and the level of service you provided was absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much for everything. 3 years in, we love the house and I recommend you and Hardisty to anyone I know looking to move house. Thank you for being brilliant!!

Dreadful. We listed our house for sale with Hardisty based on the strength of their valuer Danny who was brilliant, well prepared and knowledgeable. However, when we actually went live the reality was awful, issues we had included. 1. The first estate agent we were assigned to, showed no interest and never even bothered to visit the property. 2. They were constantly late for viewings leaving a poor first impression. 3. Viewers they said they had cancelled turned up when we were not expecting them. 4. A general sense of unprofessionalism and lack of responsibility whenever we called them. This was especially shown by the manager whose default response seemed to be it's not our fault. 5. Lack of advice. The whole thing felt like a really expensive version of purple bricks. 6. We had a feeling they were not responding in a timely manner to enquires so we did a dummy enquiry from a different email address. After a few days of no response we phoned to ask why not and was told they had 160 unanswered enquiries. We handed our notice in on the spot. We never did get a response. During all these issues we were given a brilliant estate agent called Georgina, she tried her best however if she wasn't available for a viewing or we had to deal with anyone else all the issues came back.

I had a really good experience using Hardisty and Co to sell my house in Otley. I dealt with Abigail mainly and she was really professional and helpful, as well as really sensitive to my awkward selling situation. I initially chose to use Hardisty as they offered the best rates (a fixed rate rather than it being based on a percentage of the sale) but i'm really glad I did as they were so helpful throughout the process.
