Although I didn't use Cubitt & West to sell my property, I can't speak highly enough of Jemma and the support she provided throughout my journey. Having not sold a property for 38 years the whole process felt very new and quite daunting. Jemma contacted me every week with details of new properties, checked in regularly to see how my sale was progressing, and always asked if there was anything she could do to help. We had the pleasure of dealing with Alia Hawes and Jemma at Cubitt & West Leatherhead while trying to secure a property. Unfortunately, the purchase ultimately didn't go through, but this was absolutely no fault of Alia or Jemma. Both Alia and Jemma were incredibly helpful, professional and supportive throughout the process. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with this estate agent a couple of months ago. I’m only writing this review now because I wanted some time to cool down and move on properly after the experience. Jo Leaver was extremely pushy and made us feel pressured throughout the process, which took a lot of the excitement out of buying a home. If you’re planning to buy a property through them, I strongly recommend using your own solicitor and mortgage advisor. The ones they work with are clearly closely connected, and they share personal information from the mortgage advisor ( Mortgage Matters - Samantha Berryman) that supposed to be confidential and it felt like decisions were being made to suit their own interests rather than ours. They made us to pay for the searches, they reassured us nobody else was going to view the property. 4 days later they found an other buyer. The money went down the drain. It was very unethical but we understand it’s legal. From the buyers point of view she was one of the worst person to deal with. The whole experience was stressful and unpleasant. From moment one was no trust, Jo Leaver asked us to show the screen shots of the bank accounts. Luckily, we found another property, and got the keys today, a completely different and much better experience. I wanted to make sure we started our new home without any negative energy from the past situation. I would never recommend this estate agent.

Her enthusiasm and dedication really set her apart, and it’s clear she truly loves what she does. She consistently goes above and beyond, is always quick to respond, and takes the time to really listen and understand what you want. It never feels like a hard sell, just a genuine focus on achieving the best outcome for you. We honestly can’t thank Nic Humphries enough for everything he did to help us with our shared ownership sale and onward purchase. After being let down by a previous estate agent, we were totally disheartened but Nic turned everything around. He took the time to really listen to what we needed, and he’s actually the one who found our new home! We’d seen it online but hadn’t even considered booking a viewing - Nic encouraged us to go and see it, and it ended up being the one. Without his insight and encouragement, we might have completely missed out. Throughout what turned into a very long and rocky process, Nic remained calm, professional, kind and reassuring. He kept everyone in the loop, always making sure we felt informed and supported. He truly went above and beyond, and we’re convinced this move wouldn’t have happened without him. We have had the best experience selling our flat with Cubitt & West. Jemma and Jo are amazing and have been very responsive whenever contacted. We previously had our flat listed on the market with a different agent for four months and whilst there were some viewings it never led anywhere. We were only on the market with Cubitt & West for one month and in that time we had 8 potential buyers come for viewings (double what we had in 4 months with the previous agent). We also had an offer which we have accepted and are delighted to have now exchanged contracts. The highlights with Cubitt & West is the seamless process and attentive staff, they always answer the phone when called! The AI staging option on the property photos is an amazing feature and we haven’t seen any other agents offering this option. We used their recommended conveyancers and they have also been very good. We would 100% recommend Cubitt & West and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

I booked a property valuation with this agency, but the experience was a complete disaster. Not only did the agent fail to show up for the appointment, but he then complained to me that he had an "hour and a half round trip." He claimed that they don't actually handle lettings out of their Leatherhead office and that everything is run from a central London office, which is entirely their internal issue and no fault of mine as a customer. To make matters worse, despite me clearly informing them in advance that I am deaf, the agent insisted on calling me instead of using an accessible form of communication. When I pulled him up on this, he outright refused to rebook the valuation. Dismissing a customer over their own logistical incompetence is bad enough, but refusing service and failing to accommodate a deaf client is blatant discrimination. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a professional agency. Ji

I just bought my first house! and how fortunate I was to have had such an amazing experience. The stories I have heard from first time buyers left me apprehensive to enter an estate agency. But, after walking through Leatherhead high street and passing multiple agency I peered into the window of Cubitt & West. I was delighted to see how friendly the staff appeared. Immediately upon entering I was greeted with warm smiles and a good afternoon. A lady, very well dressed and professional introduced herself. What can I say the rest is history. We went through all my preferences, likes, dislikes and things I hadn't even considered. My details were collected, and I was added to their data base. A few days later I received a call from the same lady and was informed of a new build meeting my criteria. I had spent the entire previous week looking, and I was so exhausted. I was quite appreciative of both the call and how promptly it occurred. I scheduled a showing and fell in love with the home right away. Jayde was informative and knowledgeable. A nerve-racking offer was submitted and few days later accepted! The ball was rolling and Jayde from her first hello to her congratulation’s kept me update-to-date throughout the whole journey to purchasing my first home.
