The experience has been fantastic, until I got the keys to the property and discovered that it had been left with holes in the walls and ceiling. I think some kind of agent walk through should have occurred prior to handover to access the condition of the property!

Not a very good service, doors and windows left open and unlocked after viewings.No ongoing update on progress or offers.We had to keep chasing the agent to get up to date information.Too much emphasis on reasons why people would not buy the property and no information about offers that had been made.

We would like to comment however that in relation to offers, all offers were followed up in writing and we then had a meeting with Mr Allen in the office to discuss them. In regards to the progress once a sale had been agreed, I can see from the file that extensive sales chasing was carried out and I would be more than happy to provide you with a copy of this if you wish as I can see that overall we never went more than two or three days without speaking to someone linked with the transaction. Would not recommend, staff left and nobody was picking up his emails! No contact and no updates unless I chased for information. Not even advised keys available for collection and a month since purchasing and we even had to chase to ask if did hold a key!
I am sorry to read of your experience with Peter Clarke & Co and can only apologise that you feel you have not received good service. Unfortunately due to the Global Pandemic and being in National Lockdown the majority of our staff were on Furlough leaving only a couple of members of staff having to look after our 6 offices remotely as all offices were closed. On completion of purchasing a property your Solicitor will advise that you are able to collect the keys from the selling Agents. Whilst our offices were closed, our phone lines remained very much live and therefore you would have been able to arrange key collection. As you had been liaising directly with the Vendor, we understand that you collected keys directly from them.

Persistence pays off!Our house in Wellesbourne had been on the market for over 9 months. Like many larger houses it was slow to move for a variety of reasons including the number of local new builds. After 6 months in desperation we went with a rival estate agent, but still retained Peter Clarke. However persistence pays off and due to the efforts of Viv,Harry and Mark we finally secured a sale in September. Although our sale of the house took longer than expected due to the length of the chain we are finally moving in January.Thanks to all the team at Peter Clarke for sticking at the job and eventually securing us a buyer

Was a tennant for 2 years Shockingly bad service as a tennant Taken 4 weeks to get deposit back after vacating the property Was hit with a £60 cleaning bill despite the flat being cleaner when I took it over
Dear Mr MilstedI can only apologise for the delay in returning your funds. Unfortunately, the case was being dealt with by a member of staff who is no longer with the company and it seems that this has caused some delay during the transition period and restructuring of the team, however, your case was dealt with in line with industry standard timelines and legislative requirements. Once picked up, the case was dealt with as quickly as we were able. Regarding the deduction for cleaning, the need for cleaning was highlighted in the end of tenancy report, carried out by an independent 3rd party and was felt to be fair by the landlord of the property.
