Mel and her team were excellent. Mel came around and tried to give me as exact a value as possible for my bungalow, not a high one to take me in, not a low one to make it easy for herself, but what she truly believed the property would sell for. In addition Mel also gave me some really well thought out advice on the interior. Thanks again for that! Once instructed, her team worked hard to get the viewings, chasing follow ups and keeping me informed. We sold very close to the price she had guided initially and I would like to thank Mel and her whole team for their hard work and the good cooperation. Would I use them again? Absolutely!

What can I say, I have nothing but praise for Mel and her team at the Lancing Branch. I don't know what to say. Ross, at Jacobs Steel went above and beyond. This was my first property, and I hear nightmare stories of slow moving properties. Ross was an absolute star. Can not recommend the service that I received from the team and in particular Mel, Ross and Jane. They were tasked with selling two newbuilds in lancing which in the current market is no mean feat and realised very close to the asking price on both within a short period. I was given regular updates on viewings and feedback and felt that they were more than capable during the whole process. Should the situation arise in the future I shall have no hesitation in using their service again.

Mel and her team at Jacob Steel are very professional in what they do, from start to finish they were just excellent handling both the sale and the buying of our new home. Although the timing of everything was very long-drawn-out, we understood from the very start of the processes and formalities of which needed to be followed. None of which was at the fault of Jacob Steel. Mel was very communicative along with her colleagues and made our journey enjoyable despite the time in which it took, and what I must say (is the norm with whoever you choose). For us it was the friendliness, and clear communication approach in what is likely to be the most stressful event most of us will experience in our life time, and played such an important part. I had a great experience with Jacob and Steel in Lancing while buying my first property. I am relocating from Kent to the south coast, and arranging viewings was sometimes challenging. However, J&S were very flexible and always tried their best to accommodate my time slots. I met Eros a few times who was very friendly, and professional, showing me the properties. A big thank you to Ross, who has been incredibly responsive, very helpful and always there to answer any questions I had. And a massive thank you to Richard, the seller progressor, who ensured that the completion happened promptly, even though we faced a few unexpected challenges close to the completion date. We were treated appalling by Jacob’s Steel from the moment our offer was accepted. There was a delay in our mortgage application due to no fault of our own but we were accused of being dishonest and untrustworthy people and constantly threatened by the sales progressor that the sale was being jeopardised if we dared to question one single thing. We got keys to a property today which was in an awful state. When I contacted the estate agent about it I was patronised and basically told there was nothing they could do to help. If you are a first time buyer, avoid these awful people. Not helpful and only care about the person making them money. I will actively tell all my peers who are similarly looking to buy new homes to avoid this awful company.

Would not want to use another company! We contacted Jacob steel around a year and a half ago when we wanted to sell our flat but other circumstances came up. When we decided to sell we had a private buyer so did not need a estate agent but when they pulled out i asked Mel and her team to come round as soon as they can to get our property up as we found our dream home! Mel came round the next day and put our flat on the market within 2 days! Caring and trustworthy and understood our situation and what we were trying to achieve. This was my deceased brothers property. Because I live in Merseyside everything had to be done via e-mail.
