Avoid at all costs, an absolute failure of a letting agency After trusting this agency with our property, we were left dealing with months of prolonged poor service, broken promises, and a property that was damaged whilst being owed rent. A service we were charged for. Emily Bamber, our portoflio manager, demonstrated consistently poor communication and grammar throughout. Plans were changed without clear updates, and when we raised our concerns about this, she had the audacity to question why we felt communication was lacking, rather than simply improving it. She was unable to keep relevant parties CC'd on email threads and was ultimately removed from managing our property. Too little, too late. Michael Heyworth, the area manager, was frankly useless. In a phone call, he personally acknowledged that the communication was poor and the service unacceptable, yet nothing changed. He oversaw a situation where tenants were allowed to miss payments repeatedly, offering up every excuse imaginable: between jobs, their banking app not working and even having Covid. Rather than holding them accountable, Michael entertained every single one. The result? Rent arrears and a property left in a state with severe mould due to complete inaction on maintenance issues. Once the tenants broke their agreement and left he simply washed his hands of it all. They had zero care once they could no longer charge us for mismanaging our property. To top it all off, we paid extra for rent protection, which turned out to be utterly worthless. When we needed it most, there was zero support. Unfortunately we had to deal with Remayo Hagland, who was clueless. He missed multiple opportunities to escalate our case. When Remayo was provided with a third party report that clearly stated there was mould due to severe condensation and lack of circulation in the property due to how the tenants lived, he said it was inconclusive. It took escalating the matter to a Chris Lofthouse for this to be amended. The tenant used the 'zero deposit scheme'. After they moved from the property and left it in a complete state. We got signposted to a Rachael Brierley. Rachael submitted our claim to the zero deposit scheme and went on leave whilst it processed. This is fine and understandable, however she provided no hand over to a colleague to manage this whilst she was on leave. When Rachael returned, she decided to try give us half a day to respond to the offer from zero deposit. The offer was below the max amount and Rachael felt like this was appropriate and that she could not have avoided this situation. If you value your property, do not make the mistake of letting these people manage it. They are complete incompetent. We're now selling our property at reduced cost due to the damage done by the last tenant. We have rent arrears outstanding and Entwistle Green have simply passed us off to their complaints department. Michael is a spineless coward and won't meet me in person to discuss this and take some accountability like a man. Do yourself a favour and avoid this team of clowns.

Absolutely the best estate agent I’ve ever used or heard of! From the start they made everything clear, answered every question, and always kept us in the loop. Even though our house was particularly difficult to sell, through no fault of theirs, they stayed calm, tackled every challenge constructively, and never let setbacks derail progress. Their determination, patience, and steady approach made a process that’s often stressful feel surprisingly manageable, and even a bit enjoyable! What really stood out was how well they knew what was appropriate at each stage. We had a great experience with Cerys at Entwistle Green from start to finish. Selling a house is never exactly stress-free, but Cerys made the whole process feel organised, proactive and under control. Her communication was excellent, always quick to respond, clear in her advice, and honest about where things stood. She kept everything moving, chased when needed, and handled the inevitable bumps professionally without drama. What really stood out was that she genuinely cared about getting the right result for us, not just getting a deal over the line. That makes a big difference. Absolutely amazing from the start. Went to view a property last week late afternoon, once viewing the property i put in an application to rent the property and was told it could take up to a week for the referencing to come back, the following morning I received a phone called to confirm all my referencing has passed and to arrange a move in date. In all my time renting this has been the most fastest and less stressful experience I have ever experienced while renting a property! They have been so supportive and very helpful from the get go and have also sent me emails to help set up new bills at the new property which has helped alot and really has just took so much stress away. When receiving the keys yesterday the checks done on the property was so professional and every smoke alarm was checked and any not working was replaced immediately with brand new replacements in their cars. Could not be more thankful for how smooth the whole process has gone and how helpful and professional Tracy and the team has been. We rented out our property

We rented out our property, signed for a full management. Was is a THEFT, unlawfull enriechment into their pocket? Entwistle Green/Countrywide made two incorrect HMRC annual reports that hid their real income and incorrectly made our higher income, ignored our complaints; they also deducted our income rental money by £710 per repairs without a quote, photos, documentation provided to us, and totally ignored our complaints. They done it again. Nobody cared. Another time, they deducted our rental income for repairs that has not been done. Their negligence, ignorance, careless, and damages to our house showed after one rental year, after second year, the market value of our property dropped down by £30000 from year 2023 when cash offer was offerred as high as £139000 by a fast buyer when we maintained our house by ourselves and kept it in tip top condition, inside and outside, before Entwistle Green took over the management. Entwistle Green left the tenants in unrepaired house over Christmas with leaking water on tenants' heads. We terminated the contract, no full check-out report, no inspection report to changes they made to our house with water, electricity or gas, installed a new kitchen without any permission, the house was left after tenants moved out leaving damages, a dirt, a mess. In addition, unclaimed insurance, unpaid rent, the repairs in 2025 and 2026 paid from our rental income deducted without our consent or permission, the value of our property dropped down by £30000 as Entwistle Green left it, ignored our complaints, Entwitle Green is a part of Countrywide Group and Connells Group. Nobody cared. Is it way do deal with clients? Is this way of their wellfare? Their ignorance, putting phone down, refusing to say their name, no replies, missing rental invome, chaos-mess in their money reserve that did not match the figures, negligence, nonody knew what the other person was doing, several people answered differently or the opposite facts,...

Cerys is an absolute credit to Entwistle Green - she is so friendly, always kept us up to date, and I have no doubt is one of the only reasons our purchase was able to go through. It was a long process and we were reaching the end of our mortgage offer, and the end of our patience with waiting for almost 6 months, and if it hadn't been for Cerys keeping us up to date and actually pushing for the sale to proceed, I genuinely think we would've given up. Obstructive and awful experience

This is a review for the Bury branch. I am an 84 year old widow and I am absolutely disgusted with the way this company acts, and I will be pursuing them further, through the Property Ombudsmen. They were not providing an adequate service, with hidden charges and poor value for money, and when I tried to change to a different estate agent they claimed they were not receiving any emails. I know for a fact they were sent these emails by the other estate agents, as we were cc'd in the email chain, and Entwistle Green are just being deliberately obstructive. They have carried on in this way for the past few weeks, and they are causing me a lot of stress.
