We noticed we had faulty appliances and we contacted our property manager Clive Martin from SA about it. Clive organised a contractor to come identify the problem the next day and the faulty appliances were replaced in no time. Clive was extremely helpful and swift in his actions, which made our life easier in a difficult situation. We find him an excellent manager who is easy to reach and efficient.

We are on the process of buying a property sold via Stirling Ackroyd. Spencer de Jonge has been our main point of contact, so far we are happy with the process.Overall:- Polite when showing us around, not pushy- Good at responding to emails- Did try to get us validated by their own mortgage advisor, but we had no issues when we decided to proceed with our own.

Warning: Shady Tactics Ahead!Writing this review under the name Daniel to protect privacy. My experience with Stirling Ackroyd was a disappointment. They promise one thing on the phone but do another via email, leading to confusion. The agents are rude and arrogant, showing no respect. They also use manipulative tactics to push buyers into overpaying. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Stirling Ackroyd!!!

Stirling Ackroyd were very patient and thorough during the sale of my flat. I found that everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous at all times too. It was a challenging task to sell my flat during a pandemic, but they gave me great advice the entire time and really helped guide me through the process. Special mention to Sam Currie for going the extra mile for me too!

I've been renting my flat through Stirling Ackroyd for the past 4 years, James Banister is the managing agent of the flat and I can highly recommend him. He promptly responds to all my emails about issues I may have with the flat (e.g. hot water or boiler related) and every single time he has sent maintenance to fix any issues as soon as possible. I can always rely on James.

GoogleUnhelpful and unprofessional. When selling a property I expect those who consider themselves the experts to be the ones to guide, lead, and advise on the process. I can't attribute any of this to the service I received from Townends. - Misled on selling price - Different employees, asking conflicting questions and/or providing different advice often within days of each other - A seemingly lazy approach to the art of selling (all they could suggest was "lower the asking price" over and over again, without offering any real insight to viewing stats and/or demand vs supply in the area - No apparent care for my best interests - Clearly not clued up on the type of property I was selling (shared ownership) I could go on, but all in all a terrible experience and a complete waste of 3 months of my time. What made it worse was that within just one week of moving to another clearly more educated estate agent, my property has sold.

I Was refered to Stirling Ackroyd and let me tell you i don’t regret it one bit! Kurwahn coote is the best estate agent going! My agent was Charles who had a lovely calm approach and was open and honest. My home sold very quickly and Charles kept me informed throughout. I would highly recommend them and the rate offered was very competitive.

Am very sad that trust pilot doesn’t allow me to put 0 stars. 1 is far far too generous, and frankly it’s offensive to businesses who have worked hard to earn their 1 star out of 5. In any case, DO NOT TRUST THE 5 STAR REVIEWS - THEY ARE ALL FAKE.I wrote another review a while ago that they tried to have taken down (and somehow it’s miraculously disappeared now). They fill these pages with fake reviews and petition to get all the bad ones taken down. Maybe if they spent less time combatting people’s genuine anger and disgust with their service and more time actually doing their jobs this complete and utter shitshow of a company wouldn’t be receiving reviews like this one.I’ve lived in my property for 9 months now. On Day 1 check-in we noticed the kitchen tap was broken. It’s 9 months later, the tap still doesn’t work. How is it even possible to be that incompetent and to have that little regard for your customers? Stirling Ackroyd you should hang your collective heads in shame. If you want this review to be taken down, fix my goddamn tap!!

He has come across in a very professional manner from day one, always available to be contacted, even outside of the core working hours. After the initial few properties not meeting my requirements, he was quick to get back in touch with a relevant place. Although it was above my budget he recommended that I come and see it to make an offer, this worked out very well. I feel the way Zak dealt with me as a potential tenant was outstanding, he is a true asset to your company and reflects your core values strongly.

GoogleShameful attitude from staff coming to the end of the agreement with my deposit. If i knew they would be rude like this in the first place i would have stayed homeless. Spoke to senior management after countless requests from the rude agent and even they were rude and condescending telling me they had giant choice and giant savings, definitely not! Will never recommend to anyone. Would give 0 star if i could. Only use them if you want to get spun. Avoid
