AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I wish I could give Dexter’s more than a 5 star rating. We sold our one bed flat in Stockwell through Dexter’s. We had previously been on with another local agent, we had hardly any viewings and the agent continuously blamed the market and brexit for the very slow activity. After our contractual period ended with our previous agent we decided to try Dexter’s. Mark came around to value our property initially. He was professional, provided a lot of examples of similar property sales in our area and gave a very thorough appraisal of our property. Mark provided us with an information pack and the paperwork we needed if we decided to go ahead. We did not feel pressured or obligated to sign anything and we were given plenty of time to have a think about it without being bombarded with calls. We decided to go ahead with Dexter’s. Graham and his sales team came around to meet with us and to learn about the flat so they were well equipped with information on viewings. Within a day we had more viewings booked in with Dexter’s than we had in 12 weeks with the previous agent, furthermore within 1 week, before the property was listed online, we had an offer on the flat which we accepted. After the offer was accepted Graham handed over to Amy in the sales team who was also incredibly professional, informative and without doubt kept us feeling calm during the entire process. She often knew more of what was going on than our solicitor. Mark, Graham and Amy were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire sale process. It was an absolute pleasure to sell our flat with them.

I would highly recommend working with Dexters to sell a property. I found Mark and his team to be very professional, personable and conscientious. I am a client that likes to know what’s going on, and I found the communication, particularly from Charles in the Sales team and Del in the Aftercare team to be exceptional. Not only did they willingly accept my countless calls but they also preempted them and made me feel very confident in the knowledge that they were across everything. Graham Walker and his team did a great job of selling our property and at a reasonable rate. Communication was very good between all parties and Graham managed to find us a buyer who had used Dexters previously. Our property had already been on the market with another agent for 3 months, and sold after 4 weeks of Dexters taking over. I would particularly like to thank Debbie and Talvinder who made the sales process manageable for us, especially as in hindsight we made a bad choice of solicitors and they managed to get the sale to go through where the solicitors didn’t! Everyone was always pleasant even during stressful times, they always kept professionalism and at the end of the day, they sold our property! Very pleased with the service, highly recommend

Let down by poor communication within the company

Unfortunately we were let down by this letting agent yesterday. We had a 6pm viewing for a house in Hayes, I drove 1h in rush hour traffic to visit the property and on arriving I was met by the agent who informed me that the locks had been changed that day and his key did not work, so we could not access the property.He was very apologetic and I understand he was also frustrated as he himself had spent 45 minutes travelling to the property.He did offer to rearrange a viewing but I was so disappointed in the lack of organisation (how can it be that locks are changed and the letting agent/property managers are not informed?) and frustrated at the waste of my time and petrol (2 hours round trip) that I will not be using this company going forwards.I would have left 1 star but the letting agent was truly apologetic and did remain professional in the situation.
