GoogleI have dealt with many agents over the past 25 years, as an estate agent myself, and also as a buyer, seller, landlord, and tenant, and Stuart Rushton & Co are by far the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
My husband and I were relocating four hours away and were unsure which area to look in. The whole team at Stuart Rushton & Co were so knowledgeable and genuinely helped us narrow down the right locations and properties to consider. Their customer service is first class, their local knowledge outstanding, and every single person we dealt with was pleasant, professional, and helpful.
Although we didn’t ultimately find a property through them, they continued to offer us advice and guidance on the area, which was invaluable.
Sue, the viewing negotiator, has clearly worked with the company for many years and it shows, she was always punctual, extremely knowledgeable, and an absolute breath of fresh air compared to other negotiators I have dealt with, both as a business owner and as a prospective tenant.
When I first enquired about properties, I dealt with Emily, who was fantastic, she kept me fully updated and was even available on WhatsApp outside of office hours, which was above and beyond.
We also had the pleasure of dealing with Howard, who was equally professional, always on time, very knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any questions over email.
As a landlord myself, I would have no hesitation in using Stuart Rushton & Co to let my property. Their advice on both lettings and sales was excellent, and if I were to sell in the area I would certainly put my property on the market with them.

GoogleDeceitful, untrustworthy company.
We used this company for lettings. The afternoon before we were due to move into our rental we were contacted to say that the property had a water leak and there was water damage to the walls and ceilings. The landlord had also told the agent that we did not have to go through with the tenancy, and he would not hold us to the tenancy agreement. However the agent at Stuart Rushton told the landlord that this was not an option without consulting us first. (Clearly not wanting to lose his commission). We however chose not to go through with the tenancy and requested that our deposit and first months rent be returned. Stuart Rushton are now denying they have the money stating that the deposit and the first months rent was paid to the landlord and arguing that the tenancy did go ahead.
That is absolute rubbish. The deposit is taken by an agent and usually put in a deposit protection scheme and the agency normally keeps the first months rent as commission.
So basically they have taken and kept £7,500 of our money to pay themselves commission whilst we have had to find ourselves last minute accomodation, put all our belongings into storage with no offer from them for any compensation.

GoogleMy wife and I recently sold our house in Knutsford through Stuart Rushton & Co and their service is quite incredible.
Louis Woodward was the first person we dealt with us and he was so patient with us over a 2/3 year period as we gradually got ready for sell the house. He was always very professional and very knowledgeable about the market. Louis handled everything well and the house sold without a for sale sign going up and one viewing. What more could we ask.
We then move over to Richard who managed the sale process and would call regularly with up dates. Richard was able to keep the entire chain moving and gave us confidence that things were moving. Richard went above and beyond with all his help and worked his magic often to help resolve tough blockers.
Emily, Violet and Howard from the letting team then helped us find a rental property. They were equally professional and helpful.
A great team that I would highly recommend.

We were impressed from the initial meeting with Stuart, immediately feeling very reassured that the sale of my father’s house, in which he had lived for 50 years, would be in very competent hands. Stuart’s team continued the professional care and management with excellent communication as whoever answered the phone seemed to already have an awareness of the stage and situation of the sale.
Our sale was managed by Alex Moore who was fantastic. The house situation was complicated and through every stage Alex was very supportive and caring, handling matters with sensitivity particularly regarding my elderly father and wisdom, knowledge and support for myself. Nothing was too much trouble and every contact was responded to rapidly, efficiently and with personal interest, even when Alex was not technically “at work”.
