It was a probate sale and was not straightforward but the team provided excellent advice throughout and were very good at keeping us updated at every stage of the sales process.

GoogleAs our house search is now over, my wife and I would like others to know our thoughts with regard to Seymours in Knaphill. All the staff were polite and helpful but we must single out the sales manager Jeff Pickett as he was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. He personally met us for every viewing and was always punctual and although he was unable to find us a suitable property, he never gave up and was polite and friendly throughout. He was never pushy or tried the hard sell which would have annoyed us as it probably would most other potential buyers.He was knowledgeable and helpful and he is most definitely a great credit to Seymours. Our sincere thanks for all his hard work and effort. We certainly recommend Seymours and particularly Jeff Pickett. Thank you. David Sharpe

We found them to be very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and above all patient unlike some of the other agents we dealt with. We have been kept informed about viewings and we feel Seymours were positive about our house. The valuation was a bit too high initially but we thought it would help with negotiation. However, we eventually decided to drop the price dramatically and we started to get some more offers. They could be a bit better with more regular feedback.

If I could give them zero I would!! Absolutely shocking service!!! Booked in to view flats for this to be rescheduled 4 times by them!!! To be told we will definitely see the 1 flat we want to… email them to confirm this to be told they will try and request this?!?!!! Not to mention they take days to response to email and everytime they have cancelled it’s been with in a couple of hours of viewing after sorting out an early finish at work for them to cancel and expect us to be flexible when they have already cancelled 4 times

GoogleWhat can I say! We wouldn't be where we are now without the guys at Seymours -particularly Jeff and Simon with their professional yet friendly manners. We sold and bought with Seymours and had a few hiccups along the way (not anyone's fault!) however throughout the whole process they were supportive and within a few hours each problem was dealt with accordingly. We were kept throughly informed of everything but with a feeling that the job was taken off our hands which was especially what we needed with a young baby! We can't sing your praises enough. Thank you for finding our dream home!

GoogleI had been house hunting for ages and was losing the will that I would ever find a new place. I found a property on the bank holiday weekend and requested online to see it not expecting them to be open. Jeff called within 10minutes of the request and asked me when I wanted to see it. I met him there 10 minutes later, he was polite, courteous, extremely professional and attentive and was able to tell me a lot of detail about the property and the area. I went to view the house a second time, again with Jeff and put an offer in. Throughout the rest of the process I have only positive things to say about Jeff and also Simon even when it was becoming particularly frustrating with delays from the vendors lawyer which was holding up the process. I would absolutely recommend Seymours and in particular Jeff for not being like any of the other estate agents who were often arrogant and very much uninformed on their properties!

GoogleI was lucky enough to work with Jeff, Mark and the team at Seymours Knaphill recently when they successfully sold my flat for me. They picked up my property sale following a terrible (and costly) experience with Purple Bricks and I cannot thank them enough. Mark’s valuation was accurate and justified and together with Jeff, Ian & James on the Knaphill sales team, they introduced my flat to numerous prospective buyers and helped me secure an offer for the asking price and quickly too. As a first-time seller, their knowledge and guidance was incredibly valuable to me and the polite and approachable manner I experienced from all the team was hugely appreciated. They went out of their way to ensure all parties involved in the transaction were involved, informed and had everything we needed. They are a hard-working team of individuals whom I have no hesitation in recommending. Having moved out of the catchment area of the Knaphill branch of Seymours, I only hope I am lucky enough to have such a dedicated team to work with for the next move!

Avoid at All Costs - Unprofessional and UnreliableI had an incredibly disappointing experience with Seymour’s in Walton on themes. After booking a house viewing with their agent, I arrived at the property only to find out that the agent had not even confirmed the appointment. When I called the agency to clarify, they initially tried to claim that I had never contacted them, which was absolutely untrue. Eventually, they admitted that there was already an offer on the house, making my trip completely pointless. This level of disorganisation and dishonesty is unacceptable.If this is how they treat potential buyers, I can’t imagine how they conduct the rest of their business. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this agency. They clearly have no respect for their clients or the industry. Don’t waste your time with them!

Was an awful experience from start to finish. I thought the stressful part would be the physical side of moving. But no it was the agents and the solicitor that they recommended. The only agent I can praise is Toby at the knaphill office. He was a delight to deal with.

GoogleCompleted our house purchase yesterday with Seymours Knaphill and cant rate them highly enough. They showed us around lots of houses and helped us to eventually find the right house. They kept us informed throughout and have been very helpful with any questions weve had along the way. We wouldn't hesitate to use Seymours again in the future or recommend them to our friends and family.

Utterly ridiculous people, completely disingenuous and deceitful. We made an application to view a property that had literally just been added to Rightmove. Got an appointment the next day, address seemed weird since the postcode wasn't in the right place and the building photos looked different between website and google maps. We figured it must have been a new build, since the advert said new build and hoped google maps just hadn't been updated yet.We turn up, it's not the same property at all. The red faced agent in an ill fitting blue suit then lies through his teeth, to our faces, claiming he had called and spoken to my partner the day before and explained the property we wanted had already gone and they intended to show us something different. Riiiiiight, good one.The property they decided to show us wasn't even within our budget, so they completely wasted our time! Spent over an hour driving through the school traffic to and from a bogus viewing. They then flatly refused to answer any communications about their behaviour, whilst claiming they had taken our details and would be in touch if anything came up in the future, that met our criteria. We then spent weeks watching multiple properties come on rightmove and never received any communication from Seymours about any of them. I guess they just blacklisted us, since they had already shown us their true colours and we had dared to call them on their BS.Having spoken to several other agents in the area, Seymours are well known for being utterly underhanded and devious! I strongly recommend you avoid going anywhere near them... they utterly suck, they are the reason estate agents have an appalling reputation.

I am absolutely disgusted with the director of the Staines branch. I decided to make an offer on the property they had advertised with a very high deposit but the sheer way that we were spoken to by him and pushed to the point of belittling us was awful to want a higher offer. Coming from a sales background - offending a potentially buyer to not wish to deal with your agency again is not the right way to do business and if that’s what he promotes to his staff he should step down. This was purely the disrespect from the agent that made me do a complete u turn to not deal with this director again. It seems my offer wasn’t submitted at all as no one got back to me with the outcome either so they pick and choose what offers to put to the vendor. Not right practice.

GoogleIan at Seymour’s was great, when we wanted to start looking at property’s he listened to our needs and then lined up any properties that matched this, it meant we could get plenty of viewings in at once and stopped us having to travel back and forth every time! Would recommend!!
