We had an excellent experience purchasing our new home with Ashwood Homes. From start to finish, the process was smooth, and Jo Sand was exceptional, patient, professional, and supportive throughout, especially when we had to restart our mortgage application due to issues with our initial broker. She kept us informed and made the whole experience as stress-free as possible.

Just had our 6 monthly snag list visit from Adolfo. Not too much wrong with our house, with very minor issues. I have to say that Adolfo is a credit to Ashwood Homes. He could not have been more professional or courteous in his approach to helping us.

2 months we’ve now been in our new build by Ashwood, love it! Everything went smoothly and had no major problems at all. The little snag list has been completed today by Gavin who was great. Thanks to Chrissie in the sales office too who helped us a lot with this purchase. Quick responses from emails. Little issue with one sink but they sent the plumbers in the next day to sort it out. Would defo recommend to buy with Ashwood.

We purchased our property (A Mere) in Kirton and moved in January 2023. We have never regretted our decision. We love the house, the space it gives us and the service we have received from the Customer Care team has been second to none. The ladies in the office are prompt to respond and book in any remedial work that has been required. We had no major issues, just the normal snagging bits and bobs. We have been looked after by both Gavin and Adolfo who have both been great. Big shout out to Adolfo who today came for our last visit to sort out a few issues and went above and beyond. A real asset to the company. I’d not hesitate to recommend Ashwood and their great team.

Hayden, the site manager, along with Chrissie and the customer support team, provided exceptional service and communication throughout. Even though the house initially needed some final touches, completion was achieved within six weeks. The property was in great condition with minimal snags, high-quality components, and excellent finishing. I’m very pleased with my experience and would like to thank Ashwood Homes, especially Chrissie, Hayden and the team, for their outstanding work and dedication.

My partner and I moved into our first house in July and it’s fair to say we had some issues when we moved in the main one of these being a leak in the en suite. Since we first voiced the concern Gavin has been round multiple times even unscheduled to check in and make sure we’re okay, has solved the leak and has done an amazing job in clearing it up. I can’t recommend the man enough as he is efficient and very professional and I know if we have any problems in the future we are in safe hands

We have now been in our ashwood home for just over a year.Unfortunately for us we have had nothing but trouble since moving in.For the first 8months we pretty much had contractors carrying out remedial works and to be honest apart from one we had to have every single one back to rectify what they had done as is was such a poor standard.The main issues were the garden and the brick work of the property. The brickwork is terrible and we had over 30 damaged bricks that had to be replaced, some didn't even have the mortar finished. The owner Carry's out the repairs himself and the first thing he said to me was the group that built ours have been sacked! Its laughable really.However the garden they just leave you with a bed of soil that is 100% not ok to lay grass on. The drainage was terrible and at first they agreed to rectify the issue, even their own site manager in his own words said it was S**T! It went on for so long in the end we had to pay to remove 40+ tonnes of soil and sort the garden ourselves. We sent an email of complaint too the director, he replied at first but then stopped. There was no quality control from start to finish!There were so many issues we have had, too many to list but put it this way after the first walk round the house we had 4 pages of snags.Some we are having to wait until summer of 2024 to get sorted!We had issues when going through the sale process and they tried blaming us for not stating correctly but then back tracked even ended up with 2M shorter garden than what we were told when putting the deposit down.Honestly it has been a complete jokeI've literally just put up two new lights in our lounge this evening and it shows how bad the finish is of the ceiling. We knew buying a new build would have it's issues but didn't expect nothing like this.There is not one good thing I have to say about this company and my advice would be to stay well away!They are a bunch of cowboys and the contractors they use.

We would like to thank Gavin for the exceptional work he carried out which was made more difficult taking over part repairs from Kristian. He was very professional, full of knowledge and tips for me on how to look after walls, wood on doors, skirting boards etc. Etc. Which I soaked up. He certainly knows everything about snagging and houses in general. When I see him I do acknowledge him with a wave and even had a chat. In the chat he asked me if everything was still ok and it is. So please pass on our sincere thanks, top tradesman.

What a beautiful Home we have moved into, and what a great team Ashwood Homes have, everyone from sales, to site manager have done all they can to make our move a happy one. There has not been a single member of their team who have not been a pleasure to deal with, any queries we have had have been addressed straight away. We have had new homes in the past but Ashwood Homes beat the lot!.

Really a review for the customer care team. Adolfo and Lisa at customer care have always been punctual and the communication is good. Adolfo has completed after-care work for us to a high standard and resolved the issues we had at handover and as part of the snagging process. Whether some of the issues could have been avoided is questionable, but the customer care team certainly pulled it out of the bag for us.

We purchased our house on Cowley Park and have been thoroughly impressed through each stage from reserving, the building process to completing. Yesterday we had some remedial works completed with Gavin who I believe is relatively new to the company and what a wonderful addition he is to Ashwood Homes, he was friendly, approachable and professional and completed all of our remaining remedial works that have been overdue for a while. If you're thinking of buying a home with Ashwood Homes, you won't be disappointed.

Some faults do appear and are expected on a newly built property, the important thing is, to get any problems rectified, quickly and permanent. I can say the service from the Customer Services team and the work carried out by the team doing the actual remedial work on site especially Gavin on the Service Team.

Very bad company avoid these at ALL costs they invited me for a interview but they didn't tell me where the place was before they set up an interview I told them the place where they set up an interview for was too far for me so avoid these at all costs

We had a very bad experience we would like to share in case you are thinking of buying a property with Ashwood Homes. You will need to know that they are pressurising and ruthless. If you are a cash purchaser or a first time buyer with no property to sell, it might be ok but if there are any delays you are constantly under pressure when moving is already stressful..They try to get you to exchange very early and they are ready to pull the plug and repeatedly tell you so They are legally within their rights to do this and of course you sign your life away at the beginning. We had a chain of 2 under us and the bottom of the chain broke. We immediately got a new cash buyer who wanted to move fast but they completely cut contact, and would not speak to us, When we first rang them they told us they did not want to sell to us anymore, that we were bad buyers, they had others waiting, the phone call got cut off and then they delayed returning our emails until after they had resold the house for 10k more. Interesting they put the same standards pictures up in the internet not showing all the extras we had bought. We think that was deliberate. They said the increase in the house sale was not about the extras we had bought but due to property prices going up. We lost our money for the extras (half payment made). They would not return our money to us. I reported them to trading standards. Our solicitors tried to contact theirs but there was no response from them. We were literally frozen out. It was appalling practice. I don't think you can give no stars on here but if you could there would be no stars for this company. Fortunately we have found a lovely home and so have put this horrible experience behind us. Just beware!!
Thank you for your comments unfortunately we cannot publicly comment on legal matters but unfortunately after waiting many over 8 months for completion with the house built and standing for much of this. We were unable to wait any longer for the transaction to proceed. We are pleased to hear you have found a new home.

We have now been in our lovely new home for 2 and a bit months, albeit we have had a few little issues, the aftercare from this customer service team is amazing. A gentleman called gav came round to sort our Snagging issues, and he was brilliant. So so friendly, and very attentive. What an absolute credit to the company. We have had an issue with our garden gate, as the wrong one was put on, meaning it doesn't close properly, is the wrong colour and isnt fixed on properly. He even went to the extent of reporting that for us again!

Second Ashwood home we have purchased as we are happy with Ashwood and like the estate we live on. Smooth process from reservation to completion. Kept in constant contact! Gavin and Adolfo have been amazing with the small amount of snags we had. Very efficient, friendly and tidy. Still awaiting some snags to be rectified so will revisit once all complete.
