I had the most horrendous experience ever with dexters old Brompton road office. Particularly with the unprofessional and useless director called Eleanor. She constantly lied to me about the amount of viewings and whether the keys were actually working. Please do not use the service of this agency. It was disorganised and terrible. I had to leave them after 3 weeks where they wasted my time. I will never use these people again.

Rented a property though Dexters in September 2020. It is stated in the contract that the water damage in my room should have been fixed before we moved in. I kept emailing them since day one about all the issues in the flat and they kept passing me from one property manager to the other and had to explain my situation and send pictures over again. They only bothered helping us when we didn’t pay a month’s rent. Took them almost 5 months to bring someone in to open our windows that had been painted shut (!) and we couldn’t ventilate the property. In the meantime, the water damage in my room has grown way bigger and is causing trouble in my health yet the only thing they’ve done is threaten to evict us because we didn’t pay the rent. I even asked them to allow me to break the contract since I can no longer live in that room and there are no works schedule to be done but they wouldn’t let me. I am really disappointed and I hope someone higher up reads this because it is really dangerous for me to keep living there and I really need help.

Disgusting treatment by this company. Myself and my friend went to move here on Saturday it was not deep cleaned. Both nurses- we were left with dirty pillows, dirty mattresses with stains, pubic hair.dirty toilet and toilet brush and to top it all off - MOULD in the shower and on the window sills!!! Beside the bed! We have contacted them all morning to start a plan- they have not replied to ANY emails. We are left homeless with our busy careers feeling hopeless!

The worst letting and property management company ever!! They do not care about the tenants, only the landlord. As long as the landlord gets a good offer, they won’t bother helping with issues in the property. And they trick you with adding stuff to your contract after you’ve signed and paid deposit / rent so you are left with no choice but accept whatever they add into the contract.

GoogleAs soon as they male contract with a tenant, they don't care later. Hard to get response to emails and even if they respond they never answer questions properly. Messing up tenants energy account, documentations are wrong. Fed up with them.

This is the worst property agent I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Even though I left their property in the best state possible this company has attempted to withhold my deposit and try to get their tenants to pay for redecoration costs despite all issues coming from fair wear and tear during a pandemic. If you value your hard earned money and want your value for money, Dexters is not it.
