Shocking company Rented from them for my first year moved out the house was left in better standard than I got it yet there complaining about brand new flooring! Sues customer service is appalling, give the keys in had no form for it and now I’ve moved expecting me to go pick the keys up to do the work, always dealt with Tom and never had no problems lovely guy, yet Sue shouldn’t even be working in this sort of field shocking!! House had all black mold that kept coming back when I had a baby living there Would just avoid to be honest save yourself the money

I've been a tenant for 14 years. I requested a viewing of a new property as I wished to move. I've just signed the contract for my new place and found the whole process very smooth. I would like to say thank you to Joe and Tom from the office for all their hard work and professionalism in getting this move sorted for me. I'm really pleased with my new rental and would highly recommend Wardbright Properties services.

Horrible company to rent from definitely would not recommend! Will move you in any property fine and all seems good however once you are in they make it hard to get out. Don’t do repairs unless you nag and won’t even give you the time of day for damp problems. Make sure you take as many photos when moving in as you can all date stamped anything wrong with anything in the property when you move in no matter how small you think it is tell then within 7 days or they will bill you for it when you move out. Tom is a nice man shame he works for such cowboy landlords

Rented a student house with two other friends for two years , James was our landlord and couldn’t have asked for a better landlord. Any issues were dealt with straight away and James was always considerate of our uni and placement hours as to when people came to do jobs. Thanks James !!

Couldn’t recommend Wardbright enough, had such a positive experience from viewing to being tenants. Was in an awful situation and Sue specifically was so interested and keen to help us to get out of it. Sue honestly couldn’t have done enough for us. The whole process was so quick and stress free. The repairs team are just as helpful and caring. Any concerns/work needed gets addressed and sorted quickly. Thanks again for all your help

Great company! I rented my first place on my own from them for almost 6 years. They have been great to deal with from start to finish. Barely any issues with the property and the small number issues I had in the long tenancy were all dealt with in a great timely manner. Thank you again for making having my own home for the first time so easy and enjoyable.

Shocking company they will find ways to charge you for things that don’t exist when you leave and lots of there properties contain mould that they just paint over for the next victim.

Fantastic service, viewed a house on Monday and signed for the keys by Friday, a totally smooth and easy process and we are beyond happy with our new home. All freshly decorated and spotlessly clean, would highly recommend Wardbright’s

Absolutely discusting service they need shutting down bullying elderly single ladies into paying damaged she hasent done. keeping her specialised aerial she had to get installed and not allowing her to get her property back is absolutely appalling. The manager joe clearly gets off bullying old people and fleecing there money they dont get much of with made up charges and false info. In conclusion keep away from wardbright aka wardsh*te at all costs they dont deserve anyones hard earned cash and needs shutting down.

Wardbright do the bare minimum to maintain their properties and when ever their is a major issue they do everything they possibly can to get out of it even if it risks yourself and your child's health! i have black mould issue on the premises due to a damaged flat roof, they say they will repair the problem but it never goes beyond sending some cowboy builders round to tell me yes it needs to be fixed and then give a ridiculous reason why they cant preform the repair now! the last reason they gave was they are unable to fix a wet roof! this was (A1 Watertite company) that offered this absurd reasoning! Update: they eventually did a temp patch after much persuasion, which helped reduce the problem but not fix it, with no follow up as of yet and to reward them selfs they increased my rent! I have rotten windows still waiting to be replaced and a bathroom and kitchen from the 80s falling to pieces and no doubt if I pressure them in to fixing them and maintaining the property I will be hit with more rent increases.

Doesn’t even deserve a one star! Flat riddled with damp and mould which apparently was caused due to having heating on without ventilation yet the heating didn’t even work! Storage heaters sparked when on! Had the flat fully renovated at my expense (professionally may i add) all neutral colours and paid for damp courses my self after they refused. Then charged me £1100 when i moved out for “works required” company on the invoice wasn’t even a registered business and to top it off new tenant let me in to see if work had actually been done wasn't at all shocked to find it exactly how I left it! Absolute disgrace of a company! Never known anything like it, then advertised the flat when I moved out as “newly renovated” and upped the rent! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Don't even deserve 1 star. Terrible company to deal with, repairs not carried out and excuses given when the house clearly has damp issues/leaking roofs. Told the damp stains on the walls are from the previous tenant been a chain smoker even though the stains have been painted over with specialist stain paint. Left the property and they tried to charge me for additional rent, cleaning and redecorating costs. Please don't rent from this company and if you do make sure you keep a record of everything. Take your own photos when you move in and out and stand your ground when accused of damage etc. Its worth it to appear in court and see them struggle to prove what they accuse you of. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. Any reviews that state this is a decent company are clearly fake reviews written by warbrights staff!

When renting a flat in a listed building, single glazed.. obvious sign of ongoing damp issues , please be aware that no matter how much you try to keep it warm in the winter months, it will be a losing battle not only is it freezing during winter, its also like an oven in the summer... ventilation is poor, . And to add insult to injury you will be held responsible for giving the property a full deep clean, paint walls , professionally clean everything and clear signs of mould. So approach with caution. And expect to be out of pocket further passed when tenancy ends ..

Although, I can moan at them sometimes.. these lot are actually very good and, unlike other landlords I've had, will try and get to a resolution of a problem. Obviously, opinions can vary over time and there have been times I've been really frustrated with Wardbright.. but to their credit, they sort it out and do what they need to do. Your mileage may vary. Being a landlord is not an easy task, particularly with multiple properties and people are people.. sometimes things might take a bit of time.. it might not be as fast as you want/like.. but that's life. At the end of the day they come out and fix stuff. Normally, very quickly. Sometimes if the issue is complex it can, obviously, take longer get resolution.. but at least they do it! Certain landlords out there will just sack it off and move the next victim in without fixing a damn thing. Wardbright are not one of those landlords.

Deserve minus star. 24 years I have been in same house. Must of paid 100000 plus in rent. Treated appalling. Promised repairs always, never done. Even refitted my own kitchen. Expect house to be redecorated to high standard when I leave. Mentally I'm done with wardbrights. Legally I've not even begun.

Whatever you do do rent a property in New North Bridge House. My son rented there for one and a half years and had to move out due to damp and mould which ruined clothes and a bed. Although they were told about did not do anything. Now after moving out they want to charge him for cleaning. Rung them to speak about charges, member of staff dealing with it was out, asked for him to call me, ended up ringing him after a day, said he was too busy to ring, still ongoing. OH!!!! they put the rent by £50 for the next Tennant. Very professional outfit I think not a total joke.NegativeQuality

I have rented with Wardbright for two years and couldn't be more happy with my experience. Both houses were furnished really great and when arriving into both places they were spotlessly clean and decorated lovely. The staff at wardbright are really lovely and will always go out of their way to help you with whatever that may be. If i have had any maintenance issue at all its been fixed/arranged the same or next day (if messaged after working hours). I've always had plenty of prior notice for viewings and any work that's needed to be done (all for my own benefit). If i was continuing to stay in Hull i wouldnt hesitate for a second to live with Wardbright, i absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for great prices and great staff to help you out!!
