GoogleBeware the 20 week sole agency tie in!! What started out positively turned to a very poor experience. Mis-adverised for 3 weeks, no proactivity, a rush of viewers when I cancelled my contract with them. By sheer luck they found us a buyer. Through the whole selling process after agreeing a price we didnt receive one single progress call until we phoned in first. We found out 3 days before Watsons told us that contracts had been exchanged. I'm sure they are very happy with the commission they received for the little amount of work and effort put in throughout the process. Exactly why estate agents deserve their industry wide reputation. Sorry team. This seems out of odds with you other reviews but a fair reflection of our experience.

GoogleCouldn’t recommend Watsons Estate Agents enough. They listened to our requirements for our new home and sent us links of those that we may be interested. Where they really came into their own was recommending that we view properties that did not initially tick every box for us, however as they had spent time getting to know us as a family and why we wanted certain things, they knew (before we did) that the house they encouraged us to view would be perfect for us! Needless to say we made an offer and are so happy in our new home, it is perfect and one we would have never considered without their help. We were so impressed with their service that we decided to sell through them also. Again they provided another top rate service. They marketed our property so well, not only online and in their premises but also directly with customers that they thought would be interested. We accepted an offer after the house being on the market for only 2 weeks. Being part of a chain can be tricky but nothing was too much trouble for Watsons, even chasing different parties for info to ensure we could stick to our moving date. Watsons provide fantastic customer service and really take the time to understand your requirements. Can’t recommend enough!

GoogleAs a tenant in a property we have just sold with Watsons Estate agents, I must say what a fantastic family run business, made everything so simple and informative. Monika Armstrong we had attend the viewings and she was brilliant. Very friendly, comforting and helpful! Would 100% recommend the business and the estate agent we had!

GoogleWell Frank (I haven't got a flippin' clue) Innes Marketed my house for 3 months and I had no offers or 2nd viewings, I saw Watsons on Facebook and was Intrigued, I must admit I was a little skeptical as they were a new start up but my skepticism was clearly ill founded. After speaking to Sheree on the phone and learning of her lifetime of estate agency experience coupled with Wills years of valuation experience and a strong sales background I certainly felt more confident. The wife and I popped in to Kimberley to meet them in person, we found them very professional and very personable, not your usual estate agents that's for sure. We listed our property with them and had a 3 viewings booked in the first weekend. The first viewing sold my house for full asking price !!! happy was not the word, So if anyone's thinking of selling their house or currently with a regular estate agent sponsoring a 9 - 5 attitude then I'd certainly suggest this family team, They work from 8:30 to 6pm Monday to Friday (+ Saturdays) and they'll even take my calls from 8am - 8pm. GooglePiece of advice, stay away from them when possible. If I would expect a professional and ethical approach then you could expect respect. Please don't play a victim, you poor and so overworked negotiator.

I'm sorry you've felt compelled to do a 2 star review because your offer was rejected on one of our properties. Our sellers had 11 offers to choose from, so considering they are our clients, I feel we have done a great job. Thankfully the other 9 applicants respected our sellers decision and took their rejection with some grace and decorum, choosing not to shout and swear down the phone at our hard working negotiator. Your details have been removed from our database and we wish you well with your property search.

GoogleLovely local business, 5 stars for communication which I feel is imperative when selling/buying a house. The phone was always answered, messages always passed on and always called back! Communication is the key to this great business, I bought and sold through Watsons and they didn't disappoint, a lovely team! I hope never to do this again but if I do I know who to call!

My purchase was problematic due to no fault of their own and must have caused them a massive headache, however nothing was too much trouble for Lucy Attfield, who treated me with empathy and efficiency at all times. GoogleNothing was too much trouble even though I was the buyer & therefore not paying any money. The purchase /sale wasn’t all plain sailing & without the friendliness of the staff at Watsons Lucy in particular I think I might well have pulled out of the chain. But here I am in my new(very old) house in a new area getting things done to make it my forever home
