Terrible in every way

If it were possible to rate this company lower than one star, I absolutely would. The level of service I received was extremely disappointing. The manager made a number of bold promises about what their business would achieve for me, yet none of these claims materialised. Communicating with them is incredibly frustrating, you’re routed through what appears to be a call centre that has no knowledge of your situation and no interest in connecting you with the local branch.

This company is a joke

This company is a joke! I don't know how it keeps going. Once my 12 month rental contract for an apartment was coming to its end BJB emailed me asking if I wanted to stay on, and I agreed, even though the rent increased slightly. I told them I needed a letter off them addressed to both myself and my wife showing the new rent. Still no letter despite at least 8 emails, plus a couple of phone calls requesting a letter. I managed to contact the landlady and even she couldn't get any sensible response from them. And don't get me started on the lack of repairs. BJB are incredibly incompetent, don't trust them.

VERY POOR AT ALL LEVELS I don't think…

VERY POOR AT ALL LEVELS I don't think there are enough words to say how appallingly they treat landlords and tenants alike. I have complained many times over the last 4 years and each time I have been assured of improvements at all levels, but basically I am paying a lot of money to BJB every month and I do not receive the service from them. I have to check when gas certs, EICR and EPC are due and when I send information to them it is not updated on their system. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT A MANAGEMENT TEAM it's non existent. I have put a date in for experience, but that is when I decided to get rid of them and stop paying for doing the job I'm doing myself. Having read all the other reviews it would appear we are not the only ones with this dreadful experience 1 star is 1 too many

Diabolical

Just a really awful experience. High turnover of staff. Often it took 6 + weeks to get a reply to a email after relentless chasing. We were paying a full management fee as we were living overseas, so this was a nightmare and very stressful. We finally made contact with the tenant and we were so shocked to see the state of the property. Black damp everywhere and the tenant had made a formal complaint to the council. So grateful not be working with this agent anymore. Please do your research - we have another property and the agent is amazing.

Corrie was so welcoming when I went to view my property, she made me feel very welcome and was very friendly and made lots of conversation. Brilliant Service from BJB Crewe

Really grateful to Sam in BJB Crewe office. Incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient and have gone out of his way to help with everything and even arranged a viewing late in the day to suit my restricted availability. All my phone calls and email queries have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Just exchanged on 2 BTL properties in central Crewe and hope to secure more in the future. Adrian and Marcin in the branch has also been at hand to help me. Felt very welcome when I first visited the Crewe office - friendly staff - made such an impact to me esp. after being on the road for 4 hours!! Making constant excuse after excuse. Each and everytime you manage get in touch by visiting the branch the agent that you are dealing with as either left, off sick or training. Stay clear guys

I would not recommend Butters John Bee - Northwich Estate agents they ignore your messages, zero communication, would not add or amend any pictures once submitted, failed to represent clients who came to view the property 343 Manchester Road twice, no sales contract was provided, we agreed 1.5% verbally, they took advantage and took 1.83% still waiting for a call back to discuss.

If you can avoid renting through BJB

If you can avoid renting through BJB, then do so. The worst company I have ever known for ‘customer service’! I reported a faulty shower and it took over 10 telephone calls & 12 months to get fixed. Then I had a problem with the gas hob as two burners had stopped working….11 months later and only after I reported a gas leak did they finally arrange for an electrician to come out and replace it. Most recently, my sink has started leaking and flooded my kitchen and the shower rail no longer keeps the shower head in place….reported 5 months ago and again when they advised my rent was going up, but still nothing! If I could give zero stars I would have. BJB - up your game and either sack the ‘property managers’ that don’t manage properties or train them in customer service and best practice!

We rented off a landlord who sold through these and we have tried to get in touch with them after leaving England. Now we are in the process of court procedures due to the landlord ignoring us and disappearing. No help from butters john bee whatsoever. Noone buy no 34 wroxeter way sirchley as you'll be deeply upset with how you'll be left with it

Really helpful, professional and understanding!!!

Newcastle under Lyme BJB were so helpful when we were trying to find a new house to rent. Lydia was especially helpful and patient with us even though it was over Christmas and we were having some issues with the previous house.
