I wouldnt trust bovis homes to run a bath never mind a building site. My motor was parked by 1 of their sites and their fork driver crashed into it. Destroyed 1 side off it. Ive asked the site foreman several times for a repair date which he doesnt have a clue about. Its been a month now. Surely this cant be legal????

It's a shame so many people have had bad experiences with this company. We bought our house last year in Exeter and have received the best support we could ask for. Snag lists builds, we send an email and the problems are rectified. We noticed the soldier course above our rear door was wonky, only an aesthetical problem and it was rebuilt within a week.In think the problem must lie with area managers? Bovis homes in Cranbrook are Great!

Nothing but pain from start to finish. Very poor quality build an absolute lack of attention to detail or willingness to fix snags from 15mm gaps under doors, un-level floors, radiators not plumbed correctly, mould from a lack of drying out and scuffs and marks from the tradesmen. Arguing with them over every point, completely unwilling to go that small extra step to make you feel like a valued customer. DO NOT BUY BOVIS!!!!!

They act like a scam. Filled in enquiry with phone number, but then they will send email telling you that's no phone number to contact you - and the email account they sent is not monitored + bounced back. Tried to call them 3 times and no one pick up. Poor experience and definitely not further proceeding with them

How Bovis get any stars at all beggars belief! If they spent a fraction of the money on rectifying the massive defects in their bodged new builds, as they spent on fighting claims through the courts .... buyers of their properties would show them some respect. They have wrecked hundreds of lives, mentally and physically ... not to mention the financial side! Disgusting, irresponsible firm led by a CEO who put profits before people!!

One word sums up my experience of Bovis. Gutted. I'm gutted that my dream home is not even close to that, I'm gutted that I'm still having to battle for the most basic things to be completed even after nearly two years and I'm gutted that I'm treated with such disrespect and courtesy by the Bovis staff.I give up with them and would absolutely never buy from Bovis again. Appalling operations and disgusting company.

Several latent defects including, knowingly fitting a split toilet waste, loft extraction vents in the wrong place, flexible ducting creased and bent thus full of water, mouldy garage and loft. One issue after another. Poorly built, building standards ignored.

Two years of complete headaches. Bovis are without doubt the most unprofessional company that I have ever experienced. They deliver your property late and the problems that we have had to overcome are too many to list. The customer services team are beyond useless, they rarely reply to you and are totally useless at getting anything done. You are promised things and they never materialise!We would never ever buy a Bovis home again.

Awful company. Been on our house 16 months now and still nowhere near having everything rectified. They build the houses so quickly without any standards or checks. So far we have had 3 months of work with unqualified handymen botching that now needs re doing. Is a painful process that has put me off buying a new build again, especially a Bovis new build. Something really needs to be done to regulate this industry.

Been in our house 2 years. We’re very lucky compared to others that we had lots of snags (115) - but no structural issues unlike others.Customer service is terrible. If you don’t get snags completed before you move in, you’re in for a very very long wait.Bovis have no pride in their work. Very much a ‘that will do’ approach. Such a shame when you compare to other house builders.

We bought our home in June 2015 and have had numerous issues with the build quality. We had to move out for three weeks whilst Bovis employed a contractor to reinforce our floors to rectify deflection issues (wobbly joists). Bovis build on the cheap and cut corners, and hope that customers will roll over and take it. I wouldn’t buy from Bovis again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone that I know.

Purchased one of the show houses on the Millwood Meadows development in Redditch. Constant problems with poor plumbing. Can't get access to leaks. Holes left in the render after they took away their signage and never filled.Poor customer service who are not helpful.

My experience with Bovis has been terrible. I can only advise others avoid the company. This will avoid stress fo years to come- customer service is horrendous - house build quality is cheap with poor workmanship (thin floors, leaks, snags, creeking stairs and floorboards, poor insulation/soundproofing)- maintenance of surrounding estate is awful (maintenance, broken objects, potholes)Your 2 years warrantee will be spent trying to get Bovis to finish off the houseAvoid

Poor customer care, Been waiting 2 years for the snags to be still done on my property. Repeated phone calls/Emails to no avail. They just dont care after you sign on the dotted line after a well rehearsed pitch to sell the property. When you escalate to the 'Regional Director' he just fobs it straight back to the infamous Customer Care Team.I really wouldnt recommend buying a Bovis Home. Disgusting.

Shocking experience which started before we even exchanged contracts, wish we'd pulled out and saved ourselves from 4 years of misery. Build quality is terrible and snagging is a relentless nightmare. Fixtures and fittings all of the cheapest possible quality and as a result we're already at the stage where the house needs refurbishment in just about every area.I would strongly advise to avoid this builder at all costs.

Bovis Homes build quality is poor. They refuse to comply even with NHBC requirements. Instead they use intimidation and bullying tactics like loud sirens which have caused partial deafness. Living on a Bovis estate is like being in a protection racket. An electrical fire caused by the wrong type of wiring and faulty RCD could have killed all of our family. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Moved in November 2019 linden harpers heath Doncaster.Sales staff made the move smooth.Site Manager Kevin Brennan couldn't do anymore to help. Snags a little slow to resolve but given the pandemic safety comes first in my book. Customer service & aftercare is awsome don't listen or belive what you read. People are quick to be negertive. Well done team linden / vistry.

Great house ! Lamentable decision making over telecom provider restriction. We are in the 21st century Come on Bovis let people make there own choices and get the restriction lifted, This is my one and only complaint in 12 months!I d be more than happy to discuss this with the CEO! especially when Bovis sold two 4 bed homes from my review during the last 6 months.

Was looking at the Hazel on midfields site cam. Been looking for some time. We found that at the sales team would not take us seriously. In the end we looked at the newland site up the road. Bovis you lost out on a sale would not recommend. We will be in are newland home by Christmas.

Bad project of the roof.House with gutter behind the wall. The roof is leaking after 7 years and my neighbours have problem after 4 years. I am realy disappointed for a house worth around 300k. Warranty nhbc I need wait 5 weeks for inspections.

Bodge up builders, we have had a never ending list of problems including, over priced house, boiler connected incorrectly, holes in brickwork/ missing mortar, water leaking through ceiling from under bath, front door warped, this list goes on.Cretinous con artists, liars and bodge up builders.Avoid Avoid Avoid!
