But our real hero was Amanda, their sales progressor, who, chain-wide, worked tirelessly to get everyone's ducks in a row so we could move 2 days before our mortgage offer ran out for the second time. This estate agent is not trustworthy

This estate agent is not trustworthy. Brendon, the branch manager, ignored the buyer’s concerns and questions. He stood on the seller’s side only and kept saying to the buyer that he tried to help to resolve disagreements between the seller and the buyer. Besides, he was very slow to respond your emails and questions, but forced you to answer his email within 24 hours, or else he would tell you he would stop the transaction with the buyer, and put the property back to the market. In fact, he had told me (the buyer) for several times already. Furthermore, he was suspected to uphold the important information during the transaction between the seller and the buyer, and he almost destroyed the whole transaction in the end. Fortunately, the seller suggested to contact the seller directly to clarify misunderstanding. Therefore, he was not only virulent to the buyer, but also to the seller. If you really want to sell your property, I would not recommend Wards to you.

Excellent service from Maria at Wards. We were able to view the apartment and do all the paperwork/contracts etc. online as we were moving from a distant location in the UK. Everything also went very smoothly with Nadia on our move-in. A professional service and I would certainly use Wards Estate Agents again.

Wards New Romney Kent

I dealt with Wards at New Romney in Kent. Callam did the property searching, Rihanna took me to the viewings and Steve finalised the deal. All three members of staff I dealt with showed the utmost professional skill and were very kind and helpful. It is the first time I have moved house in 35 years, and I was fooled by the stereotype of a pushy estate agent. My real experience couldn't have been further from that truth. I highly recommend this branch of Wards Estate Agents, these members of staff are great people who are very knowledgeable, both about the properties and the local area. Furthermore, they deliver on their promises 100%.

With something as huge and stressful as selling your home, I would not hesitate to go straight to Wards.Professional standards, combined with a personal, welcoming, feel was how my husband and I felt when putting our home on the market to sell with Wards.Graham Goodsell and Grace Scott ( along with Jackson) were always on hand to answer any questions, kept us informed of the selling process every step of the way, from viewers feedback, right through to final selling dates. Over the past 20 years, we have moved twice. We went straight to Wards with no hesitation for both buying and selling, because of Graham Goodsell, who treats everyone with the same respect and warmth and remembered us from our previous house sell. Racist company

We e disappointed with these estate agents , I have an Italian surname . I was registered with them and I rang about a property, unfortunately for them the person who answered the phone did not realise I could hear his conversation with a colleague wheee he was being really disrespectful about my surname and in his words “pis# himself laughing when he saw it” needless to say they won’t be getting our business and unless your name is smith or jones I would not use this disrespectful and unprofessional company .Shame on you I thought we had turned a corner on racism

WILL AVOID IN THE FUTURE

One of the most stressful times which was made worse by Wards in Ramsgate's lack of help, misleading information and communication. The first time we had sold a house which we advised them we didn't know how the process worked. When initially looking at what estate agents to go with I was advised to check their fees, I obtained a few quotes, when dealing with Wards they advised that fees wouldn't be a problem and they would cut them to get my business. We had a quote for £3500 and £3200 inc VAT and we advised the agent at Wards if they could get the fees to £3000 we would go with them. Once the sale has completed I get my completion statement and it states the fees were £3750 inc VAT. When calling Wards they advised there must have been a miscommunication but the £3000 was without VAT and that there was nothing they could do because we had signed the contract with them. Looking back at the contract it says £3000 and in small print + VAT but in the box of total amount it is blank which is misleading. Looking back at the service I am very disappointed and frustrated, having to do two open houses myself without an agent and constantly having to chase and being advised to go with a solicitor that was less than productive and helpful, along with this misleading guidance for the fees I would not be recommending Wards to anyone and will not be using them in the future. Especially appalled by the fact that I was told sorry nothing we can do now even though they admitted there was a miscommunication and could see my point in the fact of why would I have gone with them if the fees worked out more than the other quotes.
