Milly and Imarna were by far the best estate agents I have ever met. They were both fantastic and made us feel at ease with all the different buyers coming into our house in such a crazy time. Two very lovely girls who are friendly but professional at the same time. I would highly recommend selling your house through wards in Dartford, couldnt fault these 2 ladies. Thank you so much for helping us sell our house and buy our new family home.

Most horrible agency. Moved out of the house more than 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for my deposit to be returned. I asked them if anything wrong, they said no, everything's fine they have 10 days to return the deposit. After other dozen calls and another 10 days of waiting they blamed the main office and I'm still short of my deposit.

ALL ESTATE AGENTS ARE NOT THE SAME!!!

I originally had my property on the market with Purplebricks who I’ve had good experience with but this time I just didn’t entice the offers I was expecting. I then had the misfortune of trying Mann in ashford who were completely rubbish! Step in Charlotte who kept tabs on my property explaining the service Ward could offer. Her persistence paid off and I was persuaded to give Ward a try but only after meeting with head of sales Tom. Tom is an estate agent professional at the top of his game and will surely rise to CEO. Everything Tom said happened to plan like clockwork. He got the price right the strategy right the marketing right. The team at Wards Ashford are the very best in Kent and Julia should be very proud of her team! They even paid my Purplebricks fee out of the commission. I cannot stress just how brilliant this experience has been. I sincerely wish Ward Ashford all the best!

As a first time buyer

As a first time buyer, I firstly enquired at wards in Barnhurst, although we did not purchase through wards, Becky was absolutely amazing by giving us simple explanations and step by step advise about how purchasing a property works, what comes with it, from the first little steps all the way to last. I believe it’s very important to understand the whole process of purchasing and Becky could not of explained the whole process in an easier way in which made every term very simple and understandable, I would 100% highly recommend them.

As a woman on my own

As a woman on my own, who hadn't sold her home before, I put my trust in James Shepard, of Ward's Estate Agents. One would expect the manager to be moral. Word of advice when signing a new client who has never sold a property before, you need to make sure they are full aware of the terms of your agreement. I WAS NOT AWARE!I honestly feel duped, I had been sold a product that I was not aware would cost me thousands of pounds more. I was hoodwinked and gullible. I do not recommend this estate agent, Wards.Response to Wards reply:Thank you for your response, there was no need for me to raise a complaint initially as I believed the commission taken would be 'sale price dependent' not a fixed fee: Your quote: "We understand that you agreed to a fixed fee with James which was stated in the agreement then re-confirmed in our sales letter, specifically in relation to the sale price achieved." I did not agree to a fixed fee - I am dyslexic, and struggle to read the small print. I did raise a complaint to James and he brushed it aside saying "I was happy" - I was not happy! I had been Hoodwinked, deceived, I expressed this to James; James was aware I was not happy. "honesty and transparency" were not expressed here! I am not happy. Wards have charged fees in excess of what I was expecting. Mr Shepard, did not explain Wards fixed fee to me properly.

Jennifer & Katie were fantastic from start to finish. Wards were the agent for our seller and we wished our own agent was as proactive and approachable. We moved from Sussex to Kent so we couldn't use Wards for our sale. We were updated and kept appraised from Wards more often than our own solicitors and agent. Due to personal circumstances and during a challenging time I was thrust into searching for a property, I contacted Wards of Kent about a new development in Ashford and was extremely happy with their response, especially compared to other estate agents I had contacted.Charlotte contacted me almost immediately and arranged a viewing for that weekend with Raj and an appointment with Marc their mortgage advisor.Raj was really helpful and very open during the viewing, answering all my questions. Once again, Maria was highly efficient in putting an advertisement out and attracting a large number of potential tenants for my property in Margate. She selected one who was suitable and this individual has now moved in. The last tenancy did not end well and finished abruptly, but only a week was lost between one tenant and the next. This is a very reassuring service and throughout the whole process, Maria remains helpful, supportive, and calming (necessary at times!). Brilliant Service

Wards of Hythe were brilliant in handling our recent sale. From beginning the marketing process to finding us a buyer they were really good. Our special thanks to both Marks and Darren. After a buyer was found they continued to help. Wards have a dedicated Sales Progressor (Jodie) who was really great too. The rest of our chain had not sold through Wards but Jodie was in touch with the entire chain to speed things up. The whole experience was handled by the team with friendliness, professionalism, good knowledge and a sense of humour. They were always ready to listen when I was frustrated or needing to let of steam. I would recommend Wards of Hythe to everyone and would give them 6 stars if I could. Will certainly use them if we ever decide to move again.

Quality Sales Progressor- Grace Scott

I have recently sold a house via Ward’s and Grace Scott was appointed as the Sales Progressor on a mature chain. Grace seamlessly took on the role and she navigated some very difficult and vocal stakeholders with such skill. Grace strikes balance of professionalism with warmth and empathy- and not from a customer service tick box perspective- Grace is authentic and truly cares. Grace constantly went above and beyond throughout the process, despite it truly being challenging and drawn out- factors out of Grace’s control. In this case, Grace pulled everyone together and was THE lynch pin. Grace was accessible, a fantastic communicator and seems to get the best out of people by doing things in right way. This is a unique trait in an industry of heavy handedness and I think the only issue her management will ever have is that she can’t be cloned! If you work out how to do this please get in touch with me because I wish I could have more people like Grace in my workplace! As an HR professional I have been consistently impressed by the quality of her support, thank you Grace.
