GoogleI have been dealing with Miles and Barr for a very long time now. They are very professional ,patient,friendly and always make me feel at ease with all my concerns even if the concerns sound silly and dumb 😅. The sale and letting team have always been honest with their dealings. I feel they are very consistent with there work and standards a,even if staff has changed over the years they have still been very good.
Their mortage advisor Aggi is very good , and gives good advice and deals. Rest of the team that I have always dealt with who are James, Charlotte, Ann-Marrie,,Giuseppe . I have rented of them in the past and also got investment property through them. If you want honest estate agents Miles & Barr in Ramsgate are pretty good.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism, Value

Always difficult to choose the right estate agent as there are so many out there. I went with Miles and Barr. They arranged the photos and information about the property. I wasn’t happy with the description and emailed the agent in the evening. The ad was changed and I was contacted first thing in the morning to discuss. Also we were given the help of a sales progressor which I didn’t really think was necessary but in fact, it was excellent. If I was not having a response from the solicitor and had a concern, I emailed Becky and within half an hour I would have an answer to my query. I felt confident in the advice she gave to move the sale forward. Louise in that department was also very supportive. All in all, as good an experience as possible in this difficult market.

Can not fault the start of the process, The Sales staff were brilliant, we felt they were honest and helpful, always coming back to us when we had questions. They didn't really have to sell our house as we were lucky enough to sell to our first viewer. We were not impressed by the, all be it, indirect pressure we had from their panel solicitors, despite our clearly stating we would not use them, they kept trying to get us to and labelling it as a 'mistake' if that is the case take note of our instruction that we are not using them the first time and do not continue to try and get us to sign up with panel solicitors.Once sold, although our Sales Progressor was very friendly and a nice person, we felt everything slipped from this point, we could rarely actually speak with her, we could always leave a message but she rarely called back, preferring it seemed, to email. She did eventually provide an adequate service and get things moving for us, but we felt only because we would not give up and continuously chased things.However, despite the disappointment of the after sale process, on the whole we had a good experience, the staff were all friendly and we can understand why M&B have a good reputation. We would definitely recommend them as they are, on the whole, very good at what they do.

This is my second experience with M&B in 6 months. I was happy to go with them a second time, even happier that I didn't use the solictors that they regularly work with the second time around, but successfully worked with Girlings instead. It's true there are a few bolt-on costs for photos, ID checks, EPC rating, but we were made aware of them before signing the contract. Apart from a bit of a slow start when you're so keen to lock in an offer, the committed and longer term staff were always very helpful. Having worn Rebecca Gravener out with the previous sale, her help was less necessary this time. All the same, once again she was on the case before the rest of us every step of the way. Lynette also, charming and helpful when the buyers visited for a final view.
