Outstanding Sales Progress team

The outstanding part of this experience was the Sales Progressor, Denise, who was always available to push this purchase along as soon as any small or big issue came up. We completed the purchase in just two months from offer to completion and the property initially had not even been registered and one of the vendors was in Africa. All this made it challenging but we got there thanks to her. And she still cared enough to pick up one last time post completion when really her work was over. Thank you Denise.

Exceptional Sales Progression

So grateful to the team but especially Rebecca Gravener, who was outstanding throughout the sales progression. The whole team was fantastic at assisting us with our purchase. We initially dealt with Joe and Maddy at the start of the process who were very helpful and accommodating. Once the transaction had progressed we dealt mainly with Melissa, who I may add is a star! She kept us informed the whole way through. Updated us consistently, we never had to chase or query nothing and she was always on the other end of the phone to answer any questions we had. Rebecca very diligent and supportive, better contact on actual day would have been helpful.

The stars are for the personal contact, initial office personnel, keeping us informed especially Rebecca. The lost star is for the confusion at the end of the process. We were to the wire with our seller’s agent constantly giving us updates. When I rang Miles and Barr we were told the money was with the solicitor, we then rang the solicitor to be told no, it was 4: 45pm before we got the keys. Very stressful. Hiccups along the way not of your making.

Before deciding on which estate agent I chose I ask three different local companies to value my property to describe their services and give me an overview of the current market. At the meeting I was really impressed with Miles and Barr, Margate. I have had promises of good service before without it being delivered, however, with Miles and Barr, Margate were true to their word! From the original visit from Graham, meetings with Bradley, conversations with Karen, Hannah and the final stages of the sale with Louise I had an excellent experience. Communication was brilliant and responses to questions and queries was very quick indeed. This has been my best experience of a house sale and I rated this team 5 stars without hesitation. I do feel the Directors should consider much lower fees when renewing Rental Agreements for a new Tenant, where a Landlord has already been paying monthly Management Fees without having to be asked or negotiated down. A Challenging Journey Made So Much Easier,

Selling a house is daunting at the best of times, especially when you’ve lived in your home for 19 years. Add to that buying another home, a rapidly changing property market and the jargon that comes with it, everything else going on in the world, and you’ve definitely got yourself a challenge! From the very beginning, we knew it wasn’t going to be the most straightforward journey. The property market was changing, circumstances shifted along the way, and there were plenty of moments when we wondered if we were ever going to get there! A special mention has to go to Luke Howard from the Deal branch, who conducted multiple viewings not only on our own property, but also on other homes we were considering. After countless discussions, viewings and occasions where things just weren’t quite right for us, we finally got there in the end! We’re so grateful to Luke for his expertise, patience and understanding, and for sticking with us until we found the right home. And then there’s Jade Eccott, who has been an absolute godsend during the sales progression process. When things can start to feel overwhelming, having someone in your corner makes all the difference, and Jade has truly been that person for us. She has become our right-hand woman and our go-to whenever we’ve had questions, felt unsure about something, or simply couldn’t get hold of the solicitors. Over the last couple of weeks especially, Jade has been the friendly, reassuring and professional voice we’ve needed. She’s approachable, supportive and always willing to help, with nothing ever seeming too much trouble, even when things have become a little tense! Buying and selling a home is a huge life event, and navigating a changing property market can make it all the more stressful. Having people who are knowledgeable, patient and genuinely care about helping you through the process makes such a difference. Luke and Jade have both been fantastic, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for us. Luke helped us find our next home with patience and expertise, while Jade has gone above and beyond to keep things moving and reassure us when we’ve needed it most. Thank you both for helping us through what has been quite a journey! You’ve made a real difference to our experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️
