I just recently moved into one of their property and I must confess, their level of professionalism is second to none. Milly was always there to respond to any queries or concerns that we may have and she was an amazing staff to the company. I am currently enjoying my stay in the house and my wife and kids are super happy with their new environment. Thank you to Milly and everyone at the Hunters.
We are all thrilled that you and the family have settled in well, we hope you enjoy the property!

Happy to give Ryan, Michael and the team a 5 star review. Although the sale of our property was far from straightforward, or quick, our experience with Hunters was always positive and they assisted heavily in communications with the buyers …

Disappointed
Disappointed, we learned our house purchase had fallen through at the point of us being ready to exchange on our property. We found out that the office had known about it and left it to the agent, who had been looking after us, to tell us after she came back from annual leave! We never got a reason for the purchase to fall through and they even tried delaying us putting an offer in on another property. Luckily this was with another agent and we trusted our gut as the trust with Hunters had gone. 7 weeks later we were in our new home. Felt let down and disappointed with Hunters. This was our first and last time dealing with them.

"Avoid Hunters Property Management
"Avoid Hunters Property Management, Inefficient, Rude, and Unprofessional"My experience with Hunters Property Management has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. They have consistently demonstrated poor service, inefficiency, and a dismissive attitude towards tenant concerns.Ineffective Issue Resolution: Hunters fails to handle even basic maintenance issues. For example, a heating issue during winter was passed to the landlord without any attempt to troubleshoot. I had to step in and take personal risks to resolve the problem myself, only to discover it was a simple battery replacement. Their inability to perform even basic triage highlights their lack of professionalism and problem-solving capabilities.Creating Gaps Between Tenants and Landlords: Instead of acting as a competent mediator, Hunters merely relays messages between tenants and landlords, causing delays and unnecessary misunderstandings. This approach has damaged the relationship between myself and the landlord, as the agency often fails to communicate effectively or accurately.Rude and Dismissive Behavior: The staff frequently respond to concerns with a dismissive tone, making tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Their arrogant demeanor gives the impression that addressing tenant concerns is a favor rather than their responsibility.Neglecting Tenant Safety and Comfort: Health and safety issues, such as rat infestations and malfunctioning alarms, were not addressed promptly, despite the serious risks they posed. The lack of urgency in handling these matters has caused significant stress and discomfort for my family.Minimal Value Added: Hunters operates more like a messenger than a property management service. They fail to provide meaningful solutions and seem content to pass the burden of responsibility onto others, leaving tenants to fend for themselves.Overall, Hunters Property Management has proven to be unprofessional, inefficient, and dismissive. Both tenants and landlords deserve better. I strongly advise against using their services if you value timely resolutions, respect, and effective communication.

Was very pleased with the service from Hunters, in particular Ryan who handled the sale from start to finish. He was very helpful at all stages and accommodating with the logistics of us not …

Hunters recently sold my flat and I have to say the service was fantastic! Michael came and took all the pictures, including a 3d walk through which looked great. Ryan was my day to day contact through the transaction when I did get an offer and considering how poor my chosen solicitors were he did an absolutely outstanding job! Constantly chasing, updating, emailing, calling, putting pressure on, you name it Ryan was doing it and it really was one of the only reasons the whole transaction completed! Would 100% recommend, the service and people are great!
Thank you for the fantastic review Adam, it was a pleasure to work with a proactive vendor in needed times when it came to the progression of the sale with the solicitors.

I am a fellow estate agent and have been working with Hunters over the last couple of months to sales progress a complicated chain. I have an extensive conveyancing background and it’s rare I come across a competent and genuinely helpful sale progressor. Ryan Campbell has been brilliant. He worked tirelessly to overcome issues and get the deal to exchange. Above and beyond what is expected. He is a credit to Hunters and any client considering using Hunters should know what an asset he will be in selling your home.
Thank you for the kind review, Ryan worked tirelessly on this particular file and we thank you as well for your hard work and cooperation on the matter.

lettings fees are very high
For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

Brilliant customer service. From start to finish the team always listened to us and Michael was always available to help in solving any issues and answering any questions we had. Adam was friendly and also very helpful. Stevie has been very supportive right the way through and handled all dealings professionally. Everyone was on the ball. I’d highly recommend using Hunters to both buy and sell property!
Was a pleasure to work with you throughout the transaction!

I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton!
I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton branch! From the very first phone call right up to exchanging contacts They have been beyond brilliant. I absolutely loved the pictures of my house and the write up most definitely did my house justice. My house sold within 4 days and I was over the moon with the price!Nicole was the shining star for me- she kept in daily contact and was the most reassuring and helpful person every single step of the process. She chased up people when they needed it ensuring the sale moved along at pace. Thank you so much Hunters but especially a massive thank you to Nicole- you have been amazingly!

Disappointed is an understatement..
To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored. We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

Hunters are not interested
Hunters let the house adjacent to ours. There have been multiple pipe leaks around the bathroom causing flooding which in turn is causing damp smells on our side due to the length of time taken to address the issues. It's been repaired after four weeks now within hours water is currently coming through the ceiling next door soaking our party wall and they have told the tennant it's livable no problem.

Feeling sorry for vendors hoping to sell their property
Mid of August I telephoned Hunters Sunderland to view a property, giving them all requested details - a little while later they sent an email asking which property I meant (I had told them but if they wanted to clarify: why didn't they ask this when I phoned?).

Me and my partner have been totally amazed by the service we have received from Michael at Hunters. Nothing is too much trouble, he is so professional and has kept us updated on our purchase from the moment our offer was accepted. We are very grateful Michael was appointed to us and its made the whole experience a relief - during this time our whole transaction was completed in 7 weeks!! I would highly recommend purchasing / selling a property through hunters and they will be my go to in the future. Thanks again Michael :)PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
Thank you Scarlett, I hope you and the family had a lovely Christmas in your new home.

I was really impressed with Ryan’s ability and determination to get an incredibly frustrating chain exchanged today. I am a sales progressor at another estate agency and after having very little luck with the estate agent at the bottom of a chain I went to Ryan (who was in the middle of the chain) for assistance is getting the chain to exchange. He was a delight to work with and was so helpful and professional. Thank you Ryan, you are a true asset to the company. I am so pleased for all parties involved that we exchanged today :)PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
Hi Rebecca, thank you for the review. It is much appreciated and Ryan was grateful to work alongside yourself.

Awful
Awful. Incredibly disorganised. Would establish inspections and never turn up, would constantly email about overdue rent that wasn't overdue. Would pass the blame constantly. Attempted to raise my rent by a "reasonable" £200 a month six months into my tenancy which can only happen every 12 months and cannot be more than the CPI price index; they failed on both counts. Renting is honestly awful, and these clowns pray upon the anxiety of insecurity to get what they want.I have bought a house now, I wish all renters the luck to buy their own homes one day so we never have to deal with letting agents like these ever again.

I would completely recommend avoiding…
I would completely recommend avoiding this agency, they are slow to respond, have no information ready at hand and this has possibly been the most annoying process of purchasing a property with them. There was a lot of missing information that I was not provided and they basically only know how to respond when they need something. You will call them and they say they'll get back to you and just disappear. Avoid if possible.

Gutted
I was really impressed with the valuer's sales pitch and genuinely believed they would be the best firm to sell my home. The fact they had a relationship with Ryan property law also played a part, although that turned out to be a disaster, but that's a review for another day.

Sales progression team lied and not very professional.
We are in the process of buying a bungalow at the moment and the sales progression team told us the vendor had been to sort the electrics and service the boiler..previous tennants had apparently got in debt so electric was cut off..Hunters lied saying this would be sorted. A second viewing 2 weeks later and a wasted 120 mile journey confirmed nothing had been sorted. When we told them we were disappointed with them we were told to leave the property.
