Terrible experience with Tim Beattie in West Dulwich. Do not sell your home with him. There was a lack of communication, he doesn’t listen, he doesn’t answer calls, and he is simply ill-mannered. I do not recommend him and pity the team working under him.

GoogleExtremely disappointing experience with KFH. Communication throughout my tenancy was consistently poor, with repeated messages and requests left unanswered or inadequately addressed. The handling of my tenancy termination has been particularly frustrating and remains unresolved. Despite numerous attempts to resolve matters directly, I have now had to instruct my solicitor and am proceeding with formal legal action. I would strongly recommend keeping everything in writing when dealing with KFH.

We purchased a property through KFH West Dulwich. Many months after our offer was accepted, we finally completed and moved in, to our surprise on that day the house didn’t resemble much the property we had agreed to buy. Both front and back gardens had been completely neglected to the point where you can’t basically walk around, the carpets were in an appalling and unusable state. The house was so dirty that every surface was covered in dust and mouse droppings, there were spider webs throughout the property, and it was clear that no effort had been made to leave the home in a reasonable state for its new owners. When we raised our concerns, the estate agent responded that their role was basically to hand over the keys. While we understand that the condition of the property is ultimately the seller’s responsibility, we would have expected the agency to provide at least some guidance to them about leaving a property in a presentable condition for completion, especially since we were patient enough to wait much longer than the original estimate date. What should have been an exciting day turned into a disappointment within the first ten minutes of walking through the door. The lack of care from the sellers, left a very an awful impression, when you pay over a £1m for a house, one would expect some decency from the agents and the sellers to leave the place in a nice state.

On the whole I had a positive experience dealing with KFH. Having had my flat on the market for over a year with no buyers I was recommended KFH. My two main contacts were Ellis Cruise and Joe Newson. They were very quick and frank about the what my flat would actually sell for and were quick and efficient in getting it on the market and finding a buyer. Although the process itself took much longer than I and they anticipated and the actual price achieved was below my expectation, I think they did everything they could to complete the sale and kept me well informed throughout. I am happy to recommend them.

Anya ended up showing me ‘the wild card’ and little did I know, this was going to be my home. My experience with the Canada Water branch was incredibly frustrating, easily the worst I’ve had with a letting agent. From the start, the process was chaotic and poorly managed. We were left waiting for over an hour with no real communication, and even after more than six weeks, the agreement still wasn’t finalized. The agents came across as disorganized and lacked basic ownership of the process. I had to repeatedly chase for updates and push things forward myself, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, a very disappointing experience and far below what you’d expect from a professional service.

Useless incompetent company. They screwed up paperwork at beginning of tenancy. Then try and blame landlord saying we didn’t read paperwork, nothing about their own incompetence and failure to audit their own staff. They refused to provide legally obligated paperwork. They withhold money. They refuse to resolve. Their customer service is incompetent and doesn’t respond and doesn’t resolve. Their executives hide behind complaints processes and doesn’t actually know what they are talking about, spouting incorrect illegal drivel. They shared private banking details to third parties and kept them visible for over one month. They attempted to force commission on 24 month tenancies that don’t exist. Their only response to anything is forcing ‘upsells’ constantly and breaking laws. They are a shameful company. Avoid them at all costs.

TrustpilotPoor service across a number of branches
I’ve been to a number of viewings across different branches and the overall service I’ve received has been consistently poor. Staff don’t give you much time and are quite blunt. Given this is a role requiring people skills, more training is required of staff. There’s also the sensitivity of buying a home which is often overlooked. The process of putting in an offer is quite long and they don’t discuss with you, they just send you a link.
