Outstanding service and absolutely positive experience with the Brockley sales team!

I cannot sing the Brockley sales team's praises enough! Whilst Brian's main job is a sales negotiator, he answered the phone many a time when I called the office and was always friendly, professional and I knew without a doubt that my message would be passed on. Alicia did an excellent job of coordinating the photos and paperwork and was very trustworthy and efficient. I’m making a point of mentioning Brian and Alicia because I’m acutely aware that those who seemingly play “a small role” or are in the background can be overlooked, but are integral members of the process (hopefully, I haven't missed anyone from this review!)!Siân, the branch director, consistently worked hard on our behalf responding to queries promptly, efficiently, with kindness and compassion in relation to our personal circumstances - and the latter by no means compromised her ability as a professional!Last, but by no means least, Darren (our sales negotiator) has been a godsend!!! The transaction had quite a few hurdles and Darren was not only our estate agent in terms of getting the property sold, but a true advocate, friend and ally. He provided much-needed encouragement, comic relief when the chips were down and was consistently professional, objective and compassionate.Overall, the Brockley Sales team have provided an exemplary service and, most importantly, have shown that you can most definitely show a human side when conducting business and I have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend them!

Great team - great experience

We worked with KFH when we rented our house out when living abroad and then used their sales team when we decided to sell. My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. The Blackheath team are excellent - real experts, very professional but also very warm and understand the emotions involved with your home. We got some great tips and advice on the sales process and really do credit them with a smooth and successful sales chain.

Brilliant experience for first time buyer, recommend Priyesh

Highly recommend our estate agent Priyesh in the Crystal Palace branch of KFH. My husband and I had been renting and saving, and in February of this year realised we need to start thinking about what to do when contract runs out 1st June. We quickly arranged 15 viewings in one week, and met a lot of estate agents, Priyesh was head and shoulders above the rest. So professional and informed, when he showed us our house we fell in love with it, and his knowledge of Victorian terrace houses and the extensions that would be possible really sold it for us. Most other agents we were working with at the time just seemed to not understand what we were looking for or offered very transparent typical lies to cover up obvious flaws. The Friday of that week Priyesh accommodated us to have a second viewing and was incredibly patient when I'm sure others would have just wanted to start their weekend. We sent him an offer on the Saturday afternoon, and due to time zones of the seller he heard back later that evening, and again despite this being very much off the clock he informed us immediately, he knew we would want to celebrate! We used the mortgage advisor and solicitors recommended by KFH, primarily because we already trusted KFH so much but also as we felt this would help with our fixed timeline. Despite there being a few complications with mortgage applications, valuations and the sort of weird surprises that are apparently quite common to most house sales, it all was completed just when we needed it to be with what seems to be a much less stressful experience than other people I know have had with their house buying. It's now been two months in our first ever house and we couldn't be happier. Big thank you to everyone at KFH that helped us to get here despite us being quite disorganised and clueless, and of course especially to Priyesh, we consider ourselves very lucky we had him to guide us though it all.

Extremely unsatisfactory experience…

Extremely unsatisfactory experience with KFH, firstly as a landlord and then as a vendor of the same property. I did not feel at any point supported by the team and especially Daniel Montaque who as assigned to help me get the best from my sale. After advising me to accept a 70k drop in the asking price, he then suggested I reduce by a further 5k and then another 2k at the close of sale. He was never there to advise me with any insite into my buyers situation or any wisdom. I felt totally alone and used and I feel he just wanted to get the sale done and dusted. Only after completion did I find out that I needn’t have agreed to a further 7k reduction. Just before the sale when he over billed me for his commission, he hung up the phone on me when I questioned this. I found him altogether 100per cent unprofessional, rude and inadequate at his job. A very unpleasant man and experience and a very expensive one too. The letting team were also not working for me and undertook necessary call out work on the property without consulting me first and then of course charged me. I am still not convinced I ever received the correct monies owed me for the duration. They always had an answer and never apologised for any misunderstanding or for proving such an unsatisfactory service.

For a person who has never dealt with properties or selling they made this whole process a dream. From the get go they were understanding, patient and confident. We faced A LOT of hurdles. With people showing interest or the selling process coming so close to the end and then people dropping out. But they remained optimistic and continually strategised with me to make sure a sale was possible. Sale of a 3 Bed Edwardian Terraced Probate House in Muswell Hill

Mathew Smith the Manager at KFH Muswell Hill provided the highest valuation for Probate and the lowest commission rate. The property was presented well on-line with an asking price £200k above Probate valuation. An offer was made immediately.Unfortinately buyers started to get cold feet as the market cooled and offers were withdrawn. One buyer tried to gazunder us and was firmly rebuffed. Our sales agent Elysia Charalambous was peristent in finding buyers in a difficult market following the Mini-budget and the average probate valuation was achieved as the final sale price. I would recommend KFH but advise to be not too greedy in a seller's rising market and steadfast in a buyer's falling market. Estate agents in general, want to get the highest price in the quickest time possible.

Worst experience - poor maintenance

Worst experience. I live on Gayton road, Harrow. We live in a high rise building and lifts are not working since many weeks. Kfh is least bothered about people living here. We have raised our concerns multiple times to Kfh, but they are least bothered about it. We have to climb up the stairs on daily basis. Kfh keeps coming back with all kinds of excuses, and have not bothered to get even the small issues fixed. Pathetic situation, and we are stuck with the contract. If you are planning to switch home, just avoid if it is maintained by Kfh.

Recently I was in the position where I urgently needed to buy a house after a divorce, for reasons that were both financial - renting was fast depleting my ever dwindling savings - and emotional - I felt very unanchored and discombobulated, and in need of a permanent base. The task of finding and buying a house at a time I could barely manage a grocery shop felt inconceivable: onerous, overwhelming, and frankly terrifying. Thankfully one of the first agents I met was Che Eleftheriou from KFH Crouch End who not only showed me properties that fit my wish list perfectly, but also seemed to instinctively understand that it wasn’t an easy time for me, and that I would require some hand-holding. The process - made infinitely more difficult for me due to ADHD and an innate aversion to forms and procedures - was far less taxing and stressful than it might have been, thanks to his patience and consistency. I will always be grateful to Che and the team for ushering me into a new chapter, set in a wonderful home that I still can’t quite believe is mine.
