GoogleWe moved into our property on 3rd September 2026, managed by Foxtons. The property was not cleaned to a professional standard as required by our tenancy agreement (clause 18.16): dirty mattresses, stained sofa, filthy oven, and a deteriorated kitchen sink joint exposing bare wood, a clear risk of damp and mould. When we raised these issues, Foxtons told us it was not their obligation to do anything. They conducted the check-in inspection without our presence or prior notification, which we formally contested. On move-in day, the landlord threatened to call the police on us despite us entering the property at the time authorised by Foxtons themselves. We have documented everything with photographic evidence and are now pursuing our rights through Environmental Health and legal channels. We would strongly advise future tenants to thoroughly document the condition of any Foxtons-managed property before signing anything.

GoogleIt gives me great pleasure in writing this crit as I am one who believes in giving “credit where credit is due”. I cannot even begin to explain the challenges we had in finding a property for our Son in the UK from where we live in South Africa……it was extremely difficult to put it mildly, there were many challenges with Agents not responding or offering any real assistance whatsoever. That was until we came across this very diligent, professional, kind and compassionate young lady by the name of Harriet Kirkwood. Every email was responded to immediately and when I explained how difficult it was trying to source a flat from SA without a landline, she immediately came forward with her own mobile number so that we were able to whatsapp each other, which made this process so pleasurable. My husband and I have both held very senior positions within the Hospitality Industry at 5 Star Hotels and as you can imagine the customer service we instilled in our staff to ensure our guest experience was of the highest standard, and this standard was evident in the way Harriet dealt with us. Good staff is hard to find, service excellence should be the norm, but often it isn’t. We found Harriet’s service excellence “ incredible”. Going forward if I am asked about Estate Agents in the UK I will immediately revert to my experience as detailed above with Foxtons and Harriet. Adele & Clive Bennett

My flatmate had come from outside london to view a property in finsbury park and was only told once he got to the appointment that david morgan was not going to make the appointment due to being unwell, extremely unprofessional, he should have gotten one of his colleagues to cover the flat viewing or atleast message us in advance.

DON'T USE! As a landlord I highly recommend other tenants and landlords do NOT use Foxtons. They are providivg tenants and extremely poor service and giving landlords a bad name. They take no responsibility for errors or timely correction of them. Simply unprofessional and giving the industry a poor reputation. [I would like to request trsutpilot provide a feture to rate neagtive stars, Foxtons deserve 5 neagtive stars.]
