Can recommend!

Monika has been managing my flat for rent for the last year or so. She has always been friendly, responsive and proactive, communicated regularly by email and by phone and I have been able to feel the flat is in good hands. Recently we've had some issues with damage coming from the flat above and she has gone the extra mile to chase the managers of that property so that the damage can be repaired. I'm very grateful to her!

Unfortunately I had a leak at my flat which I let out through Dexters. Monika has been incredibly efficient in resolving this - chasing the managing agent to find the cause of the leak, following up and arranging for it to be fixed and then looking into redecoration which needs to be claimed on the buildings insurance, as well as liaising with and reassuring the tenant and keeping me informed. She has been a pleasure to deal with and I am really impressed by her efficiency, reliability and tenacity.

Recently I had an issue with an appliance at one of my rented properties, Nabil Subhani dealt with back and forth between his maintenance team, the tenant, the insurance company and directly with me. In all the time. Dealing with the matter, Nabil was responsive to all matters in an extremely efficient and timely way. His communication was clear and to the point and the matter was progressed efficiently despite the fact that that too many people were involved he stayed at the centre of communicating with all parties concerned.

Very sloppy service from Dexters

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.

My property had been on the market, with a number of agents, for over two years with multiple viewings but no offers. After a good experience with another property I appointed Dexter's Chelsea office on a sole agency basis in March 24 and immediately started receiving viewings. By the end of July I had an acceptable offer. It was not a straight forward negotiation but thanks to the professionalism and determination of the Dexter team lead by Percy Lendrum Director the sale has completed. A special thanks to Jemima Wood Sales consultant and Percy Boddington Sales manager for there patience and considerable assistance in keeping me calm and focused. Proactive communication and empathy

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.

Vote for worst estate agency of the year

This review is in particular for Dexter's Lee.If you think all Estate Agents in Lee are the same,then Dexter's Lee is definitely different. very different,in fact they could contend for the worst estate agency in England. I would highly recommend to anyone buying or selling through Dexter's Lee to contact me. The team, and in particular the sales team are money oriented. They will provide all sorts of distorted facts to make you list their property through them and whilst buying ,all sorts of lies without any moral conscience will be told. Their costs are higher than other than other estate agents who provide a far more personal service. This agency strives on the Dexter's brand but having dealt with Dexter's in other parts,I can easily vouch that they are the worst and most unprofessional. Please do your research before listing your property,buying and even thinking of renting out through them. They will completely ignore any of your requests or their duties as long as they can make their commission. As stated I am ready to help and discuss in more detail on why to avoid this agency

I have been very impressed by the service I received over the first half of 2024 from Dexters, particularly Percy Lendrum and Hannah Le Sueur, in handling the sale of a short leasehold flat in Lower Sloane Street. The property was not in great shape, unoccupied and with a somewhat complex ownership structure. Despite all these challenges, they found a buyer at a good price and persevered with remarkable patience, attention to detail and good humour to ensure a successful conclusion. Daniel's customer service is great

Before Daniel F joined the team I struggled a bit with Dexters (hence the 3 stars). Often things would not be done, people wouldn't log when there had been a visit to my flat so more would be booked in and there were lack of updates at times which felt frustrating. However after dealing with Daniel F it feels like things are changing for the better and if I had always dealt with Daniel I would prob give Dexters a 5 star rating. as our flat management agency, Dexters has looked after us really well, we have had a big issue with rodents in the house, and in the area, they have been tackled it fast and eficiently, we had to trust on them beacuse we were on holiday and when we came back all was done, or in the good path to be sorted, expecial thanks to Grace who was our advisor and keep up the good work. really really thankfull, big peace of mind after all. we were really worried to see what could we find in our return but i know now i can rely on Dexters and they will do the neccesary things to solve the problems.
