RE Parkwood Court flat - bewareI had an unbelievably terrible and disgusting experience with Your Move Keighley. First of all, their promises to call me back with information and updates regarding my tenancy were hardly ever kept. Secondly, telephone handlers have terrible attitudes and even though I had to chase them to do their job which really stressed me out, they got impatient with me and started ignoring my calls in the days before my move in date. That only made it more difficult for me to find out what was happening as I'd get no information from them at all.In the week before moving, they had to be chased to complete all the checks, confirm my move in date and hand in my keys - so pretty much everything. On the day of the move, I called them yet again to ask the manager, Mark, when I'd be able to collect the keys. Of course I had already arranged for a moving company to help me move - a completely reasonable thing to do since that's the date that appears on my letting agreement. First, Mark asked me why I had arranged for the move that day. I was shocked and told him that it was my moving day??? He told me off anyway but went to check with the head office. Then, I had to call again to confirm whether the keys would be made available to me that morning, and with the little time I had left, it made me feel incredibly stressed. Mark then told me in a very condescending way that I wasn't the one making decisions and that I should be waiting for them to tell me when I could collect the keys. That was over the top - I was extremely stressed because of the constant delays and no updates having been provided, I had to chase them every day that week to do the bare minimum and I still had to beg for the key to my own flat??? I insisted this was unacceptable and they were completely incompetent. Again, Mark gave me an attitude and went to speak to their head office, promising to call me back. While I was on my way, I called and insisted again I will need my keys as soon as I arrive, otherwise I would be keeping my moving company waiting with van. This time, surprisingly, Mark didn't argue and agreed with me saying I could pick up my keys. How kind of him to finally let me get the key to my own home!When I arrived at the branch, I asked Mark for my keys and was told I would have to send them a confirmation of my payment of the holding deposit - something I had done nearly 2 weeks prior, not to mention that it wasn't my job! Otherwise he wouldn't give me the keys. I cannot describe how angry, disappointed and stressed I felt in that moment. I thought, not only do I have to chase everyone to do their jobs, I was also going to be stopped from taking what belonged to me if I didn't hand it to them on a silver platter? So I said I'd do it and took the keys while of course having no intention of making this easy for them as the moment I we had a deal, they made everything extremely difficult for me!When I entered the property, I realised nothing has been cleaned up after the last tenant. My viewing was 3 WEEKS prior to moving, but nothing has changed - dirt, rubbish and a stack of letters were still there. At that point I felt sick to my stomach... I could not believe that someone would really treat me that way.In the following few days, I called again a few times to ask about who the current energy provider was. Again, no one knew and no call back was made. I only found out when I decided to return the previous tenant's letters and saw the provider's name on a few of them.I then decided to make a complaint. The response I received was "you had cleaned and then complained about the property before we know about it so we could not send anybody to clean it. The team at the office DO NOT go to each property and see them" - now this is funny because I had confirmed the flat would be cleaned at the viewing, once I'd applied. My tenancy agreement also states this is the agent's responsibility.Someone else told me they would get in touch once my complaint was reviewed and another person said they don't even deal with complaints in the branch and that I'd need to send an email to tracy.clinton2@your-move.co.uk - again, mixed information which leads me to believe they are as clueless as they are incompetent. And yes, you guessed - I never heard back from the agent or this Tracy Clinton.

AVOID!!!!!! Nevermore Your move. The worst estates agents in the UK. Terrible customer services. Charlotte is very impolite and rude. I have had to call her plenty of times and she didn't help. Just said you have to wait and wait and wait and after one month, again and again, it was ridiculous. Avoid them.

Let a property out through Kyra and Charlotte. From the start when Harry booked Kyra to come out the customer service was far better than any other letting agent I spoke to. Found me a tenant within a week and Charlotte in letting kept me updated the whole time. The tenant is happy and been in there for a few months now. Will definitely be going back there for my next investments. Thank you Charlotte I am very positive about the coming year with my tenant.

I’ve just purchased and moved into a bungalow for which the agents were Your Move, Keighley. I’ve been house hunting for about 7months and have encountered any manner of agent/ people who show you round. And how different and varied! The staff from Your Move whom I’ve encountered have been unfailingly polite and helpful and consistently so. Firstly Lorraine who over the course of recent months has shown me round a few properties- always punctual, always cheery and made viewings delightful. Thank you to Charlotte too whom I met just the once but with whom I had several telephone conversations- really helpful and Lee, with whom I had several dealings more recently as we plodded through the selling/ buying procedure. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble and he always did what he said he Was going to do- a quality I prize with any organisation Thank you so much to the team . The service from Yourmove was impeccable! I was selling under difficult circumstances and I needed a quick sale. Also, given my work I had very little time myself to manage the sale. My property was marketed in late May 2019 and with my tenants leaving at the start of June, I was, as any owner, very keen to find a buyer. To my surprise Yourmove secured an offer in the second week of June! I was elated and set in motion the legal process to complete the conveyance. The process took around 6 weeks and we completed the sale in late July. Throughout this time, Yourmove continued to proactively update me. I would receive at least two weekly updates which was very reassuring. Yourmove also negotiated matters between me and the buyers and always achieved a desired outcome. I would like to give a special thanks to all the team, including Charlotte, Kiera, Lee and Harry who were very polite, helpful, always understanding and always willing to help. Impeccable service!

Recently had a mortgage appointment with Aman at your move. Myself and my girlfriend are first time buyers so had never look into mortgages until this point and found Aman really helpful and informative. He put our minds at ease and made it easy to understand and got us a much better deal than what we would have got had we gone direct to our lender!! He has also kept us upto date with the progress since our appointment. We Would definitely recommend Aman for anyone who is looking at getting a mortgage!

My husband and I recently moved into a property managed by your move. We dealt with Charlotte and Kyra at the Keighley branch - what a pair of amazing ladies! From booking a viewing they were great. Absolutely disgusting service at the Keighley office today. Rang up 2 days ago interested in a house, got appointment. Appointment date arrives, I have difficulties due to crohns disease and a 6 week old son, was going to be 10 minutes late. Rang up told them this, they told me it wouldn't be a problem and they will ring estate agent. I arrive at the property 12 minutes later. Nobody is there. I ring Your Move Keighley, to discover the previous person I spoke to didn't pass on information. Charlotte tried to say that I had sent in a email to cancel this viewing, which I didn't, only to say this viewing didn't exist, Even though I made it with Lee 2 days ago and set up my account. Absolutely no competence. Money down the drain... and dragging someone with chronic crohns disease and a 6 week old out of the house. Way to go.
