Honestly, I have never been happier with an estate agent. From the minute I instructed them, everyone was so helpful and quick to answer any questions. The sales progression is like no other estate agent, Donna was incredible, she kept me up to date every single step of the way, she reassured me multiple times and put my mind at ease when things got complicated with the solicitors and stepped in to help me when she didnt have to. Without Donna, I dont know if my sale would have gone through at all! I couldnt thank her and the team enough for their support and I would highly recommend them a million times over.

Sarah Mains were exceptional throughout the whole process, they are in a different league to their competitors. When we decided to sell our house we obtained 5 different valuations. Some didn't bother to view the house before giving their valuation and didn't seem overly bothered. Jacob came, clearly cares about what he does, developed a strategy for selling with us, organised amazing photos and video. His communication was excellent throughout. Not only that, everyone we spoke to or handled our case was amazing. Kelly was always prompt, friendly and extremely efficient. Donna was also great to speak to and a huge asset when times got slightly difficult. I was often hearing information from the team at Sarah Mains before hearing it from my solicitor. I couldn't recommend Sarah Mains enough. There's a brilliant team there operating a different model to their competitors...and it's clearly to their advantage. Thank you to the team at SM.

I cannot fault the service we had from Sarah Mains from start to finish. The photographs and video taken to put on the property listing were very well taken and showed the property professionally. Viewings were organised with ease and the property was sold within less than a week. Donna was fantastic throughout the process and keeping us up to date, advising us where needed as we were both so new to the process. Donna is an asset to the company and we would certainly use Sarah Mains again due to the service provided.

Worst company I have ever dealt with\. I am now taking legal action following my experience\. The roof/ceiling collapsed on me after I had reported concerns about it on multiple occasions\. I was then told that the issue had not been identified during their routine checks\. I had to leave the property as an emergency and was unable to safely remain there\. Despite the seriousness of what happened, the flat was left in that condition for around three weeks\. To make matters worse, they have since attempted to withhold my damage deposit\. The entire experience has been completely unacceptable. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise others to stay well away.

Failed to give valuation appointment

On the Friday I booked at valuation appointment for 8 days time. They rang me at work during my shift and I asked them to ring me back during my next break. They never did. I rang them on the Monday. They said no one was on shift for that appointment and they wouldn’t be able to do the valuation at that time. I work Monday - Friday and then didn’t have any evening appointments. They also didn’t have a Saturday appointment for 2 weeks, as the valuerer works every other weekend. So they’ve effectively stood me up twice, they weren’t going to ring me back. They weren’t going to attend the appointment. Why in good faith would I then book time off work and expect them to attend? The member of staff terminated the call saying that they aren’t going to list my house. All I wanted was an evening or Saturday appointment in the next two weeks. The staff member would rather refuse service than find availability. I never swore. I never raised my voice. I wasn’t being unreasonable.

I was genuinely interested in purchasing a property and had almost 40% of the deposit saved, with a full-time job, side gig as an Uber driver, and a small business. Additionally, I had an AIP (Agreement in Principle) from Barclays of £99k. However, my experience with this agency was extremely disappointing. I felt as though I was treated as though I was wasting their time. They didn’t ask for any details or attempt to understand my situation; instead, they repeatedly requested my name and contact information, promising a callback that never came. Despite my efforts to reach out the following day, my calls went unanswered. I can’t help but wonder if this treatment was related to my age, which is a shame as I was serious and financially prepared.
