Excellent communication and progression service instrumental in ensuring we secured our forever home

From viewing our first house, to finding our forever home, John knew exactly what we were looking for. He did a great job communicating with us and the vendors and we always knew where we stood throughout the process. The team at Winkworth work as one, as demonstrated by Guy who was the one who communicated our offer to the vendors in John’s absence. During the conveyancing process, the team excelled at liaising with all parties in the chain and Guy was instrumental in ensuring successful completion before Christmas. We would not hesitate to use Winkworth in the future, their service stood out compared to other estate agents we have dealt with.

Conor has been absolutely fantastic in managing my rental property in De Beauvoir. He’s reliable, proactive and incredibly easy to communicate with. Any issues that come up are handled quickly and professionally, and he always keeps me fully updated. What I really appreciate is his attention to detail and the care he takes with both the property and the tenants. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, whether it’s organising repairs, checking in on maintenance or ensuring the tenants are happy and settled. We had an excellent experience with Winkworths, thanks in large part to Zac Summerhayes. He was exceptionally responsive throughout the process and went out of his way on multiple occasions to help us. Zac personally coordinated the removal of the seller’s furniture so that we could complete and move in on our desired exchange date, which made a huge difference. I am a landlord in the Willesden Green area many years and would like to give a positive review of the superb service I receive from the Winkworth. The team in the Kensal Rise and Queens Park office are always extremely supportive and always on hand to provide guidance especially with the current changes in the private rental sector. This service extends to dealing with any maintenance issues, prompt statement sending and tenant changeover, so basically the whole package for a landlord. Avoid this agency if you value your deposit. The end-of-tenancy process was is a nightmare. They submitted a fraudulent invoice as evidence in a TDS deposit dispute. I contacted the company named on the invoice directly and they confirmed in writing they had never attended the property and the invoice number belonged to a completely different property for a job dated 7 months ago. I reported them for fraud.

I had a really lovely experience with buying my first property through Winkworth Islington. Dan and Zac were amazing! I had a bit of bad luck with one property falling through just before exchange of contracts, but Dan and Zac jumped into action straight away and found me an even better property within my price range, guided me through the process as a first time buyer, followed up on solicitors for both sides and made sure everyone was always in the loop. We managed to get the new property exchanged and completed in 4 months from start to finish! They were both super cheerful, empathetic, and generally just a pleasure to chat to.
