They sent me a letter in the mail asking to sell my property but didn’t pay the full postage. I had to pay £2 so this unknown letter could be delivered just to find out they’re trying to sell to me. When I do sell my property I won’t be going here if they aren’t competent enough to add correct postage to a letter

GoogleOur agent Chloe Everitt was outstanding. From the start of the process & throughout (even when out of the office on sick leave). Without Chloe & her guidance, proactiveness & constant communication between both parties our sale would not have gone through as quickly as it did. I cannot say enough about this woman, she is incredible. Knowledgable, professional & so personable. Very rude agent, i think their name is Maggie. Was very unhelpful and rude. My mother confirmed the viewing and provided her phone number but the agent failed to even call. Called later and belittled my mother while being snarky.

In selling this property I have been very impressed by the advice and service given by Winkworths but notably by Lewis. We have been informed and regularly updated (without chasing or prompting). Lewis has been proactive throughout to ensure that our sale was made quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Lewis and Winkworth.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this agency. It has now been over a month since I moved out of the property, and I have still received no clear response regarding the return of my deposit. Despite repeated attempts to obtain an update, communication has been poor and unhelpful. The most concerning aspect is that the agency’s advice has simply been to hire a solicitor in the hope that this might put pressure on the landlord. Rather than actively assisting in resolving the issue, they appear to have shifted the responsibility and cost onto the tenant. A letting agency should act professionally, communicate effectively, and help facilitate a fair and timely resolution of deposit matters. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I would advise prospective tenants to think carefully before using this agency.

Aaron was an amazing help. As soon as I spoke with him regarding re renting my flat he put me on the right 'track' in regards to everything I needed to do or not to do. The previous tenants left the flat in a real mess and Aaron recommended certain businesses that dealt with many of my concerns ie getting rid of rubbish, where to get an EPC from etc. As soon as the flat was ready to go on the market Aaron was able to muster up fifteen applicants whilst weedling out a few that weren't quite right for my flat. He got me an immediate offer which was a little more than expected which was great. Overall I had a great experience with Winkworth, would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that would like to rent out their property.

Very friendly contact via email with Abbie Greisman. My explicit request not to use my data for any marketing purposes was simply ignored though. We send agreed on a date for a viewing, for which I received an appointment reminder on 13/07. But nobody showed up at the property, and the error wasn't even acknowledged; Abbie referred to a much earlier email exchange from 09/07 though, suggesting that it was all our fault. Poor.

This review has taken me a while to write because the experience we had with both Winkworths and the landlords was incredibly disappointing. As tenants, we genuinely felt we were treated very poorly.
Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were surprised to see this, as our understanding was that we'd parted on good terms following this matter as a landlord deciding not to proceed is out of our control and we remained in contact throughtout and after the rental fell through. As background, the property was originally marketed for sale. When a sale did not proceed, it was let instead, and tenants (yourselves) were found. Some months later, a previous viewer of the property returned with an offer to purchase, which we were legally obliged to put forward, and which the sellers accepted. This meant the letting could not go ahead as planned, which we appreciate was a frustrating outcome. We remained in contact throughout and understand any funds involved were returned in full. We're sorry this experience fell short of your expectations, but we do believe we acted fairly and transparently given the circumstances at the time. I cannot recommend Aaron and his team highly enough - they are first rate, professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Any issues were ironed out quickly and Aaron went above and beyond to find a solution that left tenants, landlord and buyer happy. Aaron is extremely responsive, practical and a delight to deal with. I have dealt with other local agents over the years and Aaron is head and shoulders above the rest. He knows the market inside out and I wouldn't hesitate in renting my property with his team again.

Recently rented out my flat in Kensal Green with Winkworth Kensal Rise and am very happy with the service provided by Aaron Priscott and his team, from the initial consultation through to the tenants moving in. They are extremely professional and have a great knowledge of the market. They were able to get over the asking price (which I was definitely sceptical of), and provided me assistance with preparing the flat for renting as required. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Winkworth Fulham has been deeply disappointing. Shortly after moving into a property in mid-October, I discovered that construction noise from the ground floor was unbearable, making it impossible to study or rest. This construction, as confirmed by workers, had started months earlier, yet this critical information was never disclosed to us before signing the tenancy agreement.When I raised this issue, Winkworth not only denied knowledge of the construction but also showed no intention of helping resolve the matter. At a meeting I attended, I was faced with three representatives who seemed solely focused on defending the company’s interests rather than addressing my concerns. The lack of empathy, understanding, and professionalism in handling this situation has been shocking.I cannot recommend Winkworth based on this experience. Transparency and support for tenants are basic expectations, and unfortunately, Winkworth failed on both counts.

I was a first time buyer and a little apprehensive about buying a property. My agent, Thomas Syms, really understood what I was looking for very quickly and was able to suggest some suitable properties. He was also able to suggest some really good properties that were not what I thought I would like but were actually a very pleasant surprise!
