First time auction sellerAs the Executor of my later Mother's Estate I decided to sell her home by auction. Savills guided me through what was for me an extremely emotional and difficult process with professionalism and understanding. I attended the auction and was extremely impressed at Mr. Coleman Smith's (the auctioneer) expertise and skill which achieved a far better result than I had dared to hope possible. I am surprised to read all of the negative comments about Savills. I have dealt with them recently and I can only speak highly of them. They have been prompt and swift with sorting out all the queries, always on time, nice and polite and I have only dealt with professional individuals there.Jordan Caskie at Savills is one of the best sales agents I have ever met. I was very impressed with how smoothly he got everything sorted, responding to my messages even during the weekends and negotiating the best deal for me with the landloard.

Waited 40 mins out in cold on Saturday morning and none of the savills staff turned up. Called sevenoaks branch took them 20 mins to find their property on their own website. In my view Savills the worst eastate agency company in this country .

GoogleI selected James at Currell Islington to sell my property after meeting with several agencies on Upper St. Upon meeting him I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of the area, my particular street and his openness and suggestions re marketing my particular property. Having bought and sold many properties, I, surprisingly, trusted him immediately. As soon as Currell's were appointed, James arranged for a photographer and his sales team to attend for a 'take-on briefing'. They were all pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. Within hours of my listing going live, the viewings commenced, always with suitable notice and mindful of my schedule, and several offers were received within days. A further remarkable feature of the Currell Islington service was the exceptional way the sales person, Amber, handled the offer, acceptance, exchange and completion process. She maintained contact throughout and did not loose interest once the deal was agreed (me experience of other agencies in the past). It is very rare that I would award full marks to any organisation, but being in the service industry myself, Currell fully deserve 10 out of 10

Be careful with this company. I am currently going to court over a dispute for a tenancy that ended 2years ago. I used to the a tenant at Ochestra house in ilford. They will try to bully you as it is a very big company with unlimited funds even when they have done something illegal. Please be careful

GoogleI bought my first investment/B2L property in Islington in 2012 through Savills, it is at this point that I met Dan Parker in Savills Islington Lettings who helped me find excellent tenants each time since at exemplary rents. Although I am managing the first property myself, my confidence in the assistance that Savills have given me in dealing with contractors has been invaluable. This led me to buy another property last year and here is when I met Fitore Vula also in the same Savills Islington Office who advised me with the property renovations and improvements and delivered again an exceptional rent and therefore, I decided to also instruct Savills to fully manage this second property, for my own piece of mind. I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

Looks like I'm not alone in my experience with Savills. I'm yet another tenant, having to fight tooth and nail to have my security deposit returned. They are working in cahoots with The Derwent Group, who are equally as shoddy.Avoid these businesses like the plague.

Worst moving experience ever!!! Problems with references and didn't tell us untill last minute, lack of communication between staff ..... Too many chiefs not enough Indians .. asked me to transfer the wrong deposit for the new place and even got my deposit owed £1000 short !!!! In previous property we put down New floor and improved the place .... Spent £500 in doing so and now they want to take a chunk out of my deposit to clean the Windows !!!! Ridiculous... Especially when our new rental property with savills is filthy !!! We've been here 2weeks now and still have no front door keys ... Staff are incompetent and after this tenancy we will avoid savills like the plague!!!!!!

If you are still on time avoid them, if not be aware of their doggy practices behind your back and with other entities they operate. I leased a flat from Savills and I started to have problems with them since the first day. During the reference stage, a credit check agency asked me for detailing all my accounts, incomes and investments in the UK and overseas during the last year. It was a very confidential and delicate information. The Savills' agency assistant called my partner and started to discuss my income and investments with him. I was shocked. How could she have my financial information with her!!! It is not legal to share this confidential information, not to say with a junior member of Savills' sales staff!!!! Since then, I knew that I was going to have a difficult relationship with them... I checked the internet reviews and read, to my dismay, that reviews were awful. It was a new building and went we arrived the street intercom was not working. I called them and came a guy from the same country than the Savills agency assistant. He did some work on the building for half an hour and then he came and said "Oh, you know, it was working well!" It was strange as we rechecked it several times before informing Savills. The Savills assistant wrote to us saying we were going to be charged £80 for sending us the guy with no need. Savills did not say at the beginning the quote or even send us an invoice from this third party company. I refused to pay them, as it was not legal. After that I realized that more little things were not connected at home: telephone wires to plug, dishwasher,... Even a neighbor who moved a few months later to the building complained to me about the same problem!!! They were doing doggy business with their tenants to extra charge them... Finally, when moving out, they wanted to charge us for the cleaning even when a professional cleaning was done and extra charge us three times the regular price for it. They maintained our deposit for more than 5 months, fooling us from department to department and even trying to not pay us back if we did not answer a message in 5 days sent on Christmas time.
