TrustpilotDon’t choose Joel as your agent
At the beginning, Joel was reactive, but he became more pushy the minute my offer got accepted. We agreed that the lease extension was on its way (in February) … I went on holiday and the whole week the guy did not stop pushing for me to get a lawyer. He recommended the agency’s lawyer and said that the purchase will go off if I do not have a lawyer by the end of the week. He said that the other party is more than ready and that they have a London lawyer, as KFH advised, and they are ready to close the deal. He insisted that I should take the lawyer that the agency advised. After looking at the KFH agency for lawyers rating in Google reviews, I saw that the agency acts like a broker for the lawyers, once they give you one, if she/he is not responsive, the fault is yours and the agency does not get involved anymore… I did my research and looked for my own lawyer. I choose one that has very good ratings for this kind of deal, but the criticism from Joel did not wait: “why did you take a lawyer outside of London?”/ “why did you not choose one of our lawyers? They are more prepared”/ “I looked into the Google rating for the lawyer you picked [4.5 against the agencies 3 points] and they are not good”. I just ignored his comments as I wanted to proceed with the transaction. Everyone told me that this can take up to 3 months to complete. After a month and half, I enquired Joel to know what the situation was. It turned out the other party did not have a lawyer; they were still finding one… After 2 months, stuff started to move a bit, but again stopped, why? My lawyer found out that the other party had only just started the negotiation for the lease extension at the end of May (it was supposed to start in February), so until that is done the sale is on hold… Time went by and my mortgage offer was getting to an end, good old Joel got back to his pushy techniques, blaming my solicitor for everything. After 10 months waiting, finally we got to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, Joel was not going to take responsibility for the agreement I did with him as before putting my offer- he said to me that everything that I see in the apartment is mine if I proposed a certain amount of money, but at the end that was not true and the seller wanted back some stuff. As always, Joel did not take responsibility for what he said with the excuse that he sells properties and not furniture, and talked again of his years of experience as a house seller and in other words I should just go cry to the river… Not the best experience buying a new home.

Has the best experience buying my first property with Sawan as my mortgage advisor. He made sure I fully understood each step of the process and worked hard to get the best mortgage for me. He was always available when I needed anything and would answer all my questions with a full explanation. Could not have gone to a better mortgage advisor! Thank you Sawan!

Totally appalling and useless company. Never ending change of managers for one property. This is their tactics, let someone take over to annoy their customers to start all over again. They have absolutely no clue how to communicate, even when you engage with senior directors Richard Benson and Carl Warland, they can't help!. Shannaleigh Batson is a senior manager- not sure how!. Alex Kelly and Linda Foss are totally unhelpful and they just ignore any emails sent out to them. There are so many names to put out there but these are the current ones Everyone at KFH including their account team can't do simple spreadsheet. Please avoid at all cost

Sian & the team in Brockley delivered us a successful property sale, in challenging times. As advertised, they were incredibly proactive in seeking potential buyers from across their SE London network of offices, and communication throughout was excellent. Out of 3 agencies we interviewed, they were the only agency to suggest we list without securing a lease extension first, which saved us a huge amount of money, time, and I'm sure, sanity. Sian is exactly the type of calm influence and cool head you want from a sales manager, especially when delays are causing stress across the chain. Darren's dedication to keeping everyone updated and keeping the process moving is incredible. I'm not many agents would sing happy birthday to a client as well as Darren did!KFH were open to discussions about things that were important to me, like sequencing of photos for adverts, and offered expert advice they backed up at every step.I'd like to thank Sian & Darren in particular, as well as Gintare who's efforts introduced a number of qualified buyers to our property.

GoogleI have just bought and moved into a flat in Kings Cross/Clerkenwell through KFH, with Sunny Barhey was looking after the sale and I could safely say, had he not been involved, I'd likely still be waiting for everything to even complete. With time limits of Christmas completion looming, Sunny was able to help navigate the seller and their solicitor, as well keep the to and fro between my solicitor on point. He was able to help get all the checks I needed through, explain and navigate some of the unusual details in the sale - as well as offer support for questions with the seller even after the sale. It was above and beyond. What's more, Sunny was backed up by Jon Clews (Director of Sales) who was able to jump in when he was unavailable. Jon was always across what was going on. This actually indicated to me foremost that they were communicating on their side, and that my sale/timings were important to them. To put it into perspective - the house I purchased had two listing agents. Sunny was able to show me in to the flat, negotiate a price, and get a memorandum of sale in place before the other even replied to my message. I was selling a house at the same time and being focused, clear and in sync seems almost unheard of in UK property sales - particularly for anyone who has been in a chain. So a big thank you from me and a high recommendation for anyone looking to purchase or sell property as they looked after me and understood how to help make a largely painful process simpler.

KFH lettings management are poor, to say the least. Emails & phone calls are ignored and unexplained charges are regularly levied and often incorrect or unjustified. I would absolutely discourage all landlords from employing them, they are really not reliable or helpful.

Professional and personable approach when selling our property and sourcing a mortgage for our onward purchase. Since the first meeting and valuation with Shaun our needs have been met with support from the team and especially from Oliver who has been looking after us and our potential buyers. Superb communication with a clam but reassuring and professional approach from Oliver is always appreciated. Also his recommendation to try KFH mortgage services was exactly what we were after and more. Sawan took time to understand our needs and finances to help us secure a mortgage offer which met our needs and then helped us to further reduce the rate as the market changed. His approach and experience is second to none with his colleague Sharon always accessible and communicating important steps for completion and information along the way. We had a very drawn out process to buy our property, but the tenacity show by the team, especially Martin, got us there.The purchase was part of a chain, although we sold and moved in with family to become chain free. The person at the top of the chain consistently changed their mind on important factors, threatening the purchase of our dream home, however, with a lot of persistence, and no doubt hundreds of calls and emails, we now own a fantastic house!

Euan kept us super well informed and made sure that all aspects of the sale progressed as planned, coordinating with our solicitor, inspectors, mortgage broker, seller and others. I bought and sold my property through KFH and I cannot recommend them more highly. The team at the Islington branch led by James are amazing! Pervin Ozbay could not have been more helpful - responding to every query in a very timely manner, liaising with the solicitors and generally lowering any stress and being a true advocate. Pervin was consistently reliable, professional, communicative and supportive. I got quotes from three estate agents for the sale of my flat and I am so glad I went with KFH for a top quality, personal service as well as value for money.

GoogleKFH Clerkenwell were good to deal with during our recent purchase of a flat. Everyone I spoke to at the firm was pleasant and efficient. Sunny Barhey, whom I initially spoke to about a viewing, suggested I also looked at another flat he thought we'd like (and have now just exchanged on). I was very grateful as I had not spotted it in my searches, it was just what we were looking for and much nicer than the flat I initially rang up about. Sunny was very straightforward, got back to emails and text enquiries immediately and was generally very easy to work with. The purchase went through smoothly and quickly.

KFH have left hundreds of residents without hot water and heating in one of the buildings they “manage” for weeks in the middle of winter. There has been no urgency in resolving the issue - KFH have required constant chasing and communicated with residents terribly. And they have told lie after lie - one day it’s one issue, that’s not fixed, than it’s another, that’ll be “fixed” tomorrow, now it’s a new issue, repeat, repeat, repeat. Also no apology, or even acknowledgement from anyone senior in the organisation. They haven’t even met with the residents, hundreds of which have been washing in cold water for weeks. They have shown no compassion or care - they haven’t accessed if anyone in the building is vulnerable in any way, and they have ignored the needs of people with incredibly young babies and children. A cruel, callous organisation.

Bully-like behaviours from Catherine and Maxine at the Beckenham branch. They first tell you your offer is accepted, then all of a sudden it's not anymore over the sellers needing to complete as soon as possible and another offer seeming to have more chances to complete earlier. This is all based on lies spread by the KFH Lee branch, which we use to sell our flat, which was part of the chain, depicting a much worse picture than it was about our situation. Had to offer 15K more and then magically all those queries still pending were not a problem anymore. Several regulation requirements were not immediately met by the sellers and we had to make sure all the certifications were in place but Catherine and Maxine kept putting incredible pressure on us and at some point they even started bullying us threatening to introduce more potential buyers to scare us and push us to complete as soon as possible. We manage to turn the entire deal around in less than 8 weeks, meeting the requested deadline, only to be told 2 days before than the sellers weren't ready to exchange and we ended up moving in 17 days later, creating a huge amount of issues in our planning.Catherine and Maxine behaved in an appalling manner with us, and although they will say they can't control all the moving parts and that they were only trying to make things work as per the sellers' needs, the reality is that they only care about their commissions and they would use any scare tactics, including bluffing and lying, to get them.

Throughout the entire process, Lucas was incredibly helpful, professional, explained every step in detail, and was always available to answer any questions we had. He made what can be a very stressful experience completely painless.If you're looking for a mortgage broker, I highly recommend Lucas Matta at KFH!

My Property Manager Nick at KFH is excellent, he always goes over and above to offer help and support to me as a landlord. Which in itself is a rare occurrence in this day and age but especially appreciated as part of a large company. I could not recommend anyone more highly if you are looking to entrust your property to a professional.

Kevin was a really great mortgage advisor and the whole process was super smooth. It was a very stress-free way to manage the finance side of the move, and when our original purchase fell through he and Heather managed all the admin for the address change etc. he was easily reachable and responsive to our emails, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services.
