KFH Clerkenwell were good to deal with during our recent purchase of a flat. Everyone I spoke to at the firm was pleasant and efficient. Sunny Barhey, whom I initially spoke to about a viewing, suggested I also looked at another flat he thought we'd like (and have now just exchanged on). I was very grateful as I had not spotted it in my searches, it was just what we were looking for and much nicer than the flat I initially rang up about. Sunny was very straightforward, got back to emails and text enquiries immediately and was generally very easy to work with. The purchase went through smoothly and quickly.

KFH have left hundreds of residents…

KFH have left hundreds of residents without hot water and heating in one of the buildings they “manage” for weeks in the middle of winter. There has been no urgency in resolving the issue - KFH have required constant chasing and communicated with residents terribly. And they have told lie after lie - one day it’s one issue, that’s not fixed, than it’s another, that’ll be “fixed” tomorrow, now it’s a new issue, repeat, repeat, repeat. Also no apology, or even acknowledgement from anyone senior in the organisation. They haven’t even met with the residents, hundreds of which have been washing in cold water for weeks. They have shown no compassion or care - they haven’t accessed if anyone in the building is vulnerable in any way, and they have ignored the needs of people with incredibly young babies and children. A cruel, callous organisation.

I hated my experience with KFH

I hated my experience with KFH Dulwich. I bought a flat through them 6 months ago and forgot to write a review until a friend who is currently selling asked if I recommend them - I don’t. My EA was unresponsive and wouldn’t reply to emails for weeks, refused to let me have a second viewing after having my offer accepted, lied about a few things he had ‘checked’ about the leasehold, and on the day of completion was on leave without telling me so I couldn’t pick up the keys. I’ll never use KFH again.

Best experience with Lucy Baker, KFH

We relocated to the UK last month and I had a few weeks to find a place. I registered with KFH and immediately received property alerts. My second viewing was at our home. I was more than an hour late, I let Lucy Baker know and she kindly waited. I loved the house and immediately started the process. From the start of the process to moving in and only a few weeks in, Lucy and the team was helpful, guided me on everything and made this scary process easy and seamless. I had heard horror stories about how difficult it could be to rent a home as a foreigner without a credit history, but that was not my experience. Key to flat : Copy of key made without landlord knowledge by telling the tenant( who is new to the country) KFH had permission to do so. I, the landlord am furious as I now need to replace the lock. Note: other similar complaints on Trustpilot about KFH. Rental of flat: I approached KFH, 3 months prior to expiry of tenancy of present tenant . KFH decided on an exorbitant rent which they did not achieve for more than 2 months so then rent of flat was reduced after discussing with KFH . KFH Lettings director, Islington branch, went on leave . I had to deal with the assistant manager Mr Stephen Daley ,3 weeks prior to tenant moving out. Soon Daley was shouting down the phone :' I am now in charge and make decisions !' Very scary as I have met the guy. The experience working with Daley was extremely distressing and a nightmare. He is totally incompetent too.Bullied : Stephen Daley , Assistant Manager , Islington Branch spoke rudely, bullied and gaslighted me, the landlord, during my one week association with him . I truly do not know what he thinks of himself but he needs a feedback: You are a Bully and bullying landlords does not work . Landlords: STAY CLEAR OF STEVEN DALEY . I did make a complaint about keys and Daley so now with 2 weeks left before tenant moves out, I, the landlord, am left to seek another estate agency . Must say I am relieved for cannot bear to have any contact with the nasty despicable Stephen Daley.Overall my KFH experience as a landlord has been very poor though must add the Lettings Director at KFH was always polite.SC.

I recently sold my late fathers and my family home through KFH. The service when was impeccable. Sunny Barhey could not have been more considerate and caring during the most emotional of times. The whole experience was made easier and smoother with Sunnys help, always available on WhatsApp and at all hours. KFH and Sunny helped with things that I wouldn’t even expect an estate agent to help with. When solicitors weren’t responsive Sunny was available to give them a nudge when the buyers were asking questions Sunny was available to help. The whole process of selling a family home and very soon after a bereavement is extremely stressful but with Sunnys help the process was a stress free as it could be.

After initial conversations discussing my situation and what I was after, Jack provided a range of options. Jack was accommodating to my busy work schedule to support in viewings, which I greatly appreciated.
