GoogleSo far our experience with this agency has been pretty good. They took a bit of time to let us know when we passed our reference check. After that, everything has been pretty smooth and Kathy has been very supportive every step of the way, so we hope everything stays the same!

GoogleI have had an extremely disappointing experience with them. I had mistakenly transferred additional money to their account which I am still struggling to get back. Made multiple attempts and everytime I receive a response saying we have forwarded your query to the accounts department.

GoogleGreat company to deal with on Caledonian Road, Islington. We were looking foe a 1 bedroom Flat the area and Harris Brown went above and beyond to find a property to suit our needs. We have been here for 3 years now and still receive great management service from them.

GoogleI saw a room from this agency, in hoxton, on internet, after an email and a call we agree to meet to visit the flat and the room. Everything going well, flat is clean and spotless but the agent with me forgot the key of the room. We are human and mistakes can happen so we book an another meeting, later during the week. So this day, I come in time a front of the flat, and no one. I wait 15 minutes outside, it's cold, and I'm still alone waiting. I call the agency. The girl on the phone apologies and explain me the situation. They still didn't find the keys of the room, and the agent didn't say it to her. I find that very unprofessional and not respectful at all, to book a meeting with a costumer, don't show up and saying nothing. I can't imagine how it is with the people who rent a flat from them if for they act like that with potential new tenants. I hope that people get better experience than mine with them.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

I have done a quick investigation into your holding deposit and only one tenant has provided there bank details for the return of the holding deposit. GoogleI was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews but was in a desperate situation so decided to use their service anyway. I don't normally write reviews but I felt as though the comments that I had read beforehand didn't quite depict the experience I had. I would highly recommend Harris Brown. They have been a great help to me from start to finish. I was given very little notice to leave my former place from a inconsiderate landlord. In approaching Harris Brown they gave me a lot of reassurance, the staff are extremely friendly, professional and were more than willing to go out of their way to help.They also chased this landlord who was trying to delay the process by withholding my reference and found a place for me with all the specifics I asked for. Now I have a place that I am comfortable in a place that I can now call home. Thank you Harris Brown!

GoogleIn June, 3 months ago, I accidentally sent Harris Brown, my estate agent, my rent instead of my landlord. Despite contacting the agent multiple times I have failed to receive this money back, which is highly unprofessional and inconsiderate. I’ve had other issues with the agent, but have lived with them up until now because the rental market is not kind to buyers who aren’t millionaires. Make sure to always visit the property first, the photos displayed on their website were significantly nicer than the reality. They were even taken before a third room was built into the original living room. I hope you find another estate agent that doesn’t rip you off, if that is possible in London.

GoogleWorst experience ever. DO NOT use this estate agent or rent from landlord 'Mohan' or consider property 208 Hornsey Road (lead, illegal wiring, has leak, rats, flooding, useless boilers, structural damage). Illegally letting flats, refusing to provide has and electric safety certificates, unsafe properties, friends of landlords (bias), useless at contact and communication, repeatedly telling lies, no checks carried out, not refunding a £2000 deposit I am rightly owed. Completely childish. AVOID!!! If I could give it minus zero stars, I would!!!

GoogleOrganised a viewing for a certain time and date. Somehow they forgot to confirm it on their system and then no one turns up for the viewing. Poor experience

I have looked in to this but it looks like you went to the area where the property was located but the negotiator had not sent you the full details and confirm the viewing as we are waiting for the tenant to provide us with access. GoogleAvoid! Highly unprofessional staff. Had a viewing schedules with them, 5min before they cancelled and never contacted me again to reschedule. Trust the reviews! I wish I had believe them before I made my way there!

GoogleI personally can say that I have use Harris Brown on three different occasions to find accommodation. All my experience was delightful and the staff was professional and very helpful. Not many estate agent offer a friendly atmosphere but they do. I shown a few different properties until i found the right one; my experience from 2011 upon till now has been excellent. Would definitely recommend them, helpful agent to use in London and 100% safe.
