GoogleUnfortunately, my experience with Harris Brown has been consistently disappointing. Communication is poor, they are often unresponsive, and when they do reply, it takes far too long to get anything resolved.
Basic issues like repairs or maintenance drag on without clear updates, and cleaning between tenancies has been inconsistent at best. Arranging anything, whether it’s viewings or appointments, feels unnecessarily difficult and disorganized.
Overall, the lack of professionalism and urgency makes them very hard to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re looking for a reliable or responsive letting agency.

GoogleBen's house is comfortable and spacious, functional, and fully equipped. The dishwasher was a real plus.
The neighborhood is charming, and the proximity to the tube and buses saved us a lot of time.
Ben was kind and helpful with communication.
We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in London.

GoogleThis was a fabulous apartment in a great location for my weekend in London. Very easy to get to from Angel station. The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed. Thanks Ben for communicating so easily with me and being a great host.

Googlethey are shameful. they scam you by renting disgusting houses.
Mr Ben was a person with zero professionalism they scammed us with a very bad condition house full of mold, dirty and with holes in the walls( 1650 per month)
after they saw that they had rented us a disastrous house they gave us another temporary house full of sewage smell.
well mr ben had guaranteed the reimbursement of the first moving of 150 pounds but that didn't happen, he collected the 150 pounds that the landlord was supposed to give us. moreover, ben once entered the house while I was sleeping without my permission.
I've already started everything to denounce everything.
disgusting!

GoogleAirbnb was good overall, there was a small issue at the start but Ben was very responsive and it was resolved quite quickly.
The only downside was the bathroom, which wasn't very practical, but it was adequate.

GoogleShocking customer service - shocking phone attitude. Worst estate agents I have dealt with so far. Viewing was cancelled multiple times without warning. Customer service agent was rude on the phone and the apologised for being rude, but then went on to AGAIN cancel viewing. I literally had to repeat my email address 4 times to them because they were not listening. There isn't even a phonetic similarity between hotmail and yahoo. they sound so different how can people get that wrong 4 times???!! anyway.. shocking experience with them. will never use these guys again

GoogleWe ‘ve spent 10 days in London in this 1 flat appartment on chapel market in islington. A lively and fine neighbourhood to stay in. You can even walk beside the regents canal to kingscross coal yards and camden starting your walk only 400 metres from the flat. The flat is equipped with all you need to spend a comfortable holiday. Enough space. Well equipped. You will not regret booking this.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking and never come across an estate agent like it. Called last week wanting to offer on a property Harris Brown are advertising. Automated email response saying they will be in contact within 3-5 working days. Decided to email our offer through to the estate agent the next day, as they would need to report the offer to the vendor within 24 hours.
Called and spoke to the receptionist three times over the last week, who assured me someone would call me back. Spoke to Roberta who told me she "wasn't dealing" with this house and would get someone to call me.
To date, nothing back from anyone at Harris Brown.
If you are thinking of selling, avoid this agent at all costs. If they can't get back to someone who has made an offer, what chance do you have of selling your property?NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI booked a viewing for a flat, initially I was given the wrong address, I guess to lower the chances for me to find out that the flat was in front of a prison. On top of that, the advert said that the flat had 2 bathrooms, and showed 2 different pictures of the bathrooms, but then during the viewing there was only one bathroom.
Not professional at all. Waste of time

We do apologies that the advert had mention 2 bathroom and only had 1 this was an error on our part which has been rectified now. In regards to the wrong address this was addressed with you via text message, which there was ample time before your viewing in which you replied "Hi No worries . I just arrived" . I know it might not be your preferred location but google maps is a helpful tool to view any properties surroundings before you carry out any viewings. Just to note we have had 3 offers on this 2 bedroom which is situated in front of a prison. All the best with your future property search. Harris Brown Estates

GoogleAfter being messed around and treated unfairly by another local estate agent, it was such a relief to have a totally different experience with Harris Brown. Right from the start Keisha was professional and welcoming, always on hand to find answers to our questions and provide documents nice and early, never making us feel like a burden. As students this was our first experience of renting independently but the process was smooth, relaxed, and the level of communication was perfect, really appreciated. I would highly recommend this team for finding your next home. Thank you Harris Brown, and a special thanks to Keisha for looking after us every step of the way!

GoogleHorrible!
Wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy!
Never rent from Landlord Angelo Z!!
He owns loads of property in east London and sits comfortably in Monaco with a contact number that isn’t intended for contact and a voice message box that is full.
Why they would take him on as a client in the first place is a mystery.
Kitchen refurb wasn’t finished on viewing. Was never finished before move in or during our contract.
Cleaning wasn’t done
2 weeks without heating/hot water and fridge/freezer.
Cockroaches
When raining water would gush out the toilets and sinks and pour through the kitchen wall (??!!) on to the floor, flooding the flat. Same flat that has unfinished electrical work on the floor. The fire brigade deemed it a life hazard.
Attempted break ins and feces left at our back door.
Water leak in the ceiling from the flat above.
Agency was reactive at first, sorting out 2 of our list of problems: new washing machine and fridge/freezer and pest control.
Rest of our problems were ignored or we were told the landlord wouldn’t do anything about it.
When they realised the flat simply wasn’t habitable they stop responding to emails, texts, voice messages and phone calls, both on individual contact numbers but also when we would call the branch.
They only got in touch when we stopped paying rent, to ask for money and the keys back.
Since then we had of course moved, the flat was under water almost every week.
They were extremely unhelpful, rude and aggressive.
Had to go to small claims court to recoup deposit. Finally received it almost 8 months after moving out.
To avoid at all costs!

GoogleI recently had an unfortunate experience with Harris and Brawn Estate. The customer service was quite disappointing, with little to no response after I made a holding deposit. It felt as though my concerns were overlooked, which was disheartening. I hope this can be addressed to improve future experiences for others.

GoogleImpeccable.
Everything you needed (and more) was provided, the neighborhood is very friendly, the sheets are good quality, and more.
A pleasant stay in an apartment that's prettier than it appeared in the photos.
The only downside is the bathroom, which is a bit small and not very comfortable, but it's a minor detail.
Don't hesitate to stay here!

GoogleI would give zero stars but unfortunately it’s not possible. AVOID THIS AGENCY, scammers and they keep your money.
I had a really bad experience with Harris brown, they caused me so much headache. On the day of our moving the flat wasn’t ready at all, dirtiness everywhere, mould and holes in the wall (that they covered with decorations)
POOR MANAGEMENT, they don’t care about the tenants.
The landlord cancelled our contract and we had to stay in a minuscule overpriced studio to avoid sleeping in the streets.
This agency should close and the employees (specially the manager) should change their profession.
BEWARE OF FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS.
