GoogleMy experience with Hamptons recently has been top rate. It has improved dramatically since being assigned a new property manager. In the past I had to really be on top of things myself, constantly chasing everything up which wasn't easy when living abroad. However now that has all changed as my property manager is so professional and does an excellent job on my behalf . She is focused, productive and super efficient going way above and beyond the call of duty. Her help and advice have been invaluable throughout a redecoration and change of tenant, liaising with all the different departments in Hamptons as well as the decorators to bring everything together. I really feel that she has my best interests at heart where the running of my property is concerned and I can now relax knowing it is in great hands. Thank you Sarah! Based on my recent experience with the level of service Hamptons provided me this summer I would highly recommend them.

GoogleI sadly did not have a good experience when attempting to sell my property with Hamptons. They persuaded me to accept an offer from a buyer who had not even put their home on the market over a chain free buyer. They then marketed their property at a price that was far too high. I wasted 2 months on this sale that could never go ahead. Fair enough, these things happen but what was particularly disappointing was the lack of communication from Hamptons staff. It was impossible to get a progress update and when they said they would get back to me they simply didn’t. They finally told me my buyer simply started ignoring them yet have continued to market their property (!). I found their approach to be exceedingly unprofessional, very different to that of other local agents I have used, and I would not recommend them. EDIT the response from Hamptons doesn’t address the issue, although they can very easily identify me from my name and answer publicly if they have an answer. Clearly they have nothing to say to justify the way they managed my sale and went awol whenever it suited them. Continuing to do this to others no doubt.

I needed to get some cosmetic work done to the flat between tenants and she organised it fast so I didn’t lose unnecessary rental income. Best service I have had from an estate agent so far.
