TrustpilotAppalling lack of transparency, 5 months of silence followed by an “ambush” claim
I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

GoogleMatt Bird of the Clerkenwell Office was exceptional in his empathic and diligent manner to find me a new home that fit my criteria and my needs. I felt I was in good hands. Despite the fact that the inventory of the rental flats the office had to offer at the time was not, ultimately, suitable, I felt I could always return to ask for Matt's help and attention.

GoogleAfter a long time searching for a rental it was a pleasure to meet such a helpful and professional person. Sadia questioned me carefully on exactly what I was looking for and, on our very first viewing, we found exactly the right property which was helped because Sadia took the time to showcase it really well. As soon as the offer was accepted - also very easy to do online - Sadia helped us through the rental process so it went through speedily and with zero fuss. The whole thing was a pleasure from beginning to end! Thank you so much for all your hard work and enthusiasm Sadia and the team at Foxtons who make it happen.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleGreg Nickson was the estate agent for our purchase and did things quickly, politely and sympathetically. Our purchase wasn't easy for various reasons but Greg recognized what everyone needed, and held the different parties and their interests together well. Four stars rather than five because dealing with Foxtons meant we got some other annoying and intrusive sales callers from their head office, who had to be told firmly to stay away. But Greg and the Clerkenwell office were good to deal with.

GoogleI walked in at Foxtons Clerkenwell office from street desperate, after over a month of failed attempt to find a place to rent. Staff were attentive, took my application with care and found few matching options for me in a short period of time when market was very limited. Jon Hanson was particularly helpful, convening me to view an option I thought would not work was reluctant to see, but he knew it was a match. It really worked out well and I ended up renting what I was looking for in exact area where I was looking for. He also coordinated the contracting process well. Thanks to Jon and team at Foxtons!

GoogleThey came to value my property for letting once eight years ago. Since then they have contacted me every year despite me saying I’m not interested and stop contacting me. Yesterday they called me 5 times in quick succession and I told them not interested. Today they have called me again from a different number and emailed me. This is bordering on harassment and I am getting seriously annoyed.

TrustpilotI wanted to view a house
I wanted to view a house. I was asked about my financial position and pushed to see their recommended mortgage broker and solicitor services. I said I had my own and it is all lined up so I'm not interested in using yours.

GoogleIt has been a real pleasure working with Jaymie Reilly, who has helped me buy a property in Clerkenwell. Jaymie has been responsive, proactive, respectful, polite, accommodating and also very patient with me! He understood what kind of property I was looking for very quickly and help me with suitable options. I followed up and kept in touch, but was never pushy. I would really recommend Jaymie if you are looking to buy a property in the area!

GoogleEnamul was a consummate professional; patient, attentive, and willing to humour me as I made him take me back to the same property three times... Grateful for all of his help!

TrustpilotA huge disappointment from start to finish
Our experience with Foxtons has been nothing short of frustrating. From the very beginning, communication was poor. Before moving in, emails went unanswered or delayed, and once we raised urgent issues like a serious mold problem, it was not addressed in a timely manner. We also went without heating for weeks in the winter before finally being given a few space heaters as a stop-gap.

TrustpilotGreat Experience!
I’ve had a really positive experience with Foxtons, both in helping me find a property in an area I already knew and loved, and in providing excellent management throughout the tenancy.

GoogleOur experience looking for a new place to rent with Foxtons Clerkenwell was very positive. Yann-Pierre Was very friendly and incredibly helpful. He quickly understood what we were looking for, our priorities, our preferences, and our dealbreakers without feeling pressured in taking anything that we were not happy with. We saw around 10 properties with different agencies and different levels of service; from the "you won't get anything with that budget" to the "you gotta get it now because you'll never find a place like this at that price". Yann-Pierre was pretty chilled, listened to us and reassured us that we could find a good place in the area with our budget. Practically every place we saw with him was a good option. We recommended him to another friend who's looking for a flat in the same area and now he's flat hunting with him as well. Super recommended.

TrustpilotLosing my ish with these people
There has only been 1 staff member at Foxtons that I find competent. The 1 star is for the one person who had great customer service- who unfortunately is not leading on the sale.

TrustpilotFoxtons found tenants for my property who filmed porn and offer "happy ending" massage services.
I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.

GoogleI honestly cannot recommend Sadia Kasem enough! She is by far the best agent I have ever worked with. Not only did she understand all of our needs and worked to find properties to match them, but she found us our dream apartment and got us moved in in record time. Thank you, Sadia! You are absolutely amazing! 10000/10

GoogleWorked with Matt Bird out of the Clerkenwell office and he was great! We put in an offer on a place, which didn't work out but he immediately found us another spot to view and pushed our offer to the top of the list, within a week of losing the first offer we found an even better place to live! He is highly responsive and great to work with, highly recommend!

TrustpilotTONY CHAN : Excellent professional
TONY CHAN is very helpful to me in looking after my flat . He has been most useful in communicating with the tenant on all matters .
